11/07/2025: A great find! The service was warm and attentive from start to finish. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the spaghetti alla assassina, a real treat! The atmosphere is friendly, the decor is tasteful, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. I recommend it without hesitation and will happily return!

19/06/2025: Very good address!! Very pretty setting, especially outside, in the middle of the houses ☀️. The dishes are delicious (we had 3 different ones), the service is friendly and invigorating. The prices are quite reasonable compared to the overall meal. 👌😎👍

27/05/2025: Great restaurant with a wide selection, very friendly hosts, and excellent food. We went there three evenings during our stay and enjoyed the food each time. The hosts also catered to our individual requests and even treated us to a drink on our last evening. Thank you again for your warmth and hospitality!

27/05/2025: Tolles Restaurant mit viel Auswahl, sehr netten Gastgebern und gutem Essen. Wir waren bei unserem Aufenthalt an drei Abenden dort und haben jedes mal sehr gut gegessen. Auch sind die Gastgeber auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen und haben uns an unserem letzten Abend sogar noch ein Getränk spendiert. Danke nochmal für eure Herzlichkeit und eure Gastfreundschaft!

03/07/2025: All the food we ate was absolutely delicious 😍 Pasta “al dente” with seafood was fresh and tasty. Orecchiette (the local pasta type) with octopus and tomato sauce were extremely good 👍 The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The place has indoor and outdoor tables just on the square in the center of Bari Vecchia. The only disadvantage - you have to be patient with the timing. It takes a while to get your dishes ready.

27/06/2025: Tasty dishes (mostly seafood), fresh ingredients (fish was from the catch of the day), nice atmosphere and personnel. We had dinner here both days while in Gallipoli. Definitely not a tourist trap.

26/06/2025: A completely overrated place, in my opinion! We ordered the tasting menu, and it left us somewhat indifferent. The service was a bit unfriendly, and they brought our dishes practically at the same time, which meant we didn't enjoy the meal because we had to eat as quickly as possible so the dishes wouldn't get cold. Quite disappointing because we had high expectations. Still, the place is beautiful and the wine was delicious, which is why I'm giving it three stars.

07/06/2025: We discovered Guyot, a wine bar with a bistro, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the most pleasant experiences of recent times. The place is refined but welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that combines the charm of a real wine bar with the care of a modern and quality bistro. Our journey began with a selection of raw meat, presented impeccably and accompanied by balanced condiments, capable of enhancing the quality of the raw material without ever covering its authentic flavors. Next, we opted for meat cooked on a cast iron plate, a real treat for those who love meat and also want to enjoy the experience of the moment: the meat arrives lightly seared and cut, ready to be cooked directly at the table, on the hot cast iron. An engaging and convivial solution, with top-quality meats, tasty and tender. We chose a wine by Elena Walch, proposed by the staff with skill and passion, the pairing was perfect. We couldn't finish without tasting the desserts, which at Guyot represent an irresistible final treat. Great classics like tiramisu or profiterole made impeccably with quality ingredients and a care in preparation that is perceived at the first taste. Tradition yes, but done with a sure hand and contemporary taste. The Guyot staff was truly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and never intrusive. Every recommendation, from the cuisine to the wines, was precise and punctual, always with a smile and a touch of passion that makes the environment even more pleasant. Guyot is much more than a simple wine shop or a bistro. It is a place where the quality of the food, the excellence in the selection of wines and the impeccable service come together to create an experience to remember. Perfect for a dinner for two, but also for anyone who loves good wine, quality meat and the pleasure of feeling truly welcomed. Absolutely recommended. We will be back soon!

27/05/2025: We went to Guyot to try the new menus offered in three different formulas... pleasantly surprised by everything... the cuts of meat first and foremost but also all the side dishes and desserts... even the recommended wine 🔝... excellent service.

08/07/2025: A name that's a guarantee!! Exceptional meat and generous portions!!

06/07/2025: Outdoor venue, in a square closed to traffic. Relaxing atmosphere, efficient and punctual service. Some appetizers and drinks are chosen at the table, the second courses inside, cooked to order. We tried the crispy burrata with raw ham, roasted meatballs and French fries, to start. Inside we chose (at the refrigerated counter with raw meat) Sicilian and spicy sausage, skewers, one with courgettes, one with speck, a spicy type and turcinieddi. Other times we chose different things. Everything was delicious, a pleasure every time. Obviously not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Suitable for the disabled as two of the four entrances to the square are without stairs. Highly recommended for those who love grills.

21/06/2025: I asked for a pizza from the menu with a request to put buffalo mozzarella on the way out and they told me they couldn't do it because it would ruin the pizza they proposed. So I asked for a lactose-free margherita with buffalo mozzarella and raw ham on the way out and I'm not sure that the pizza didn't contain lactose (given the effects). The buffalo mozzarella looked like a normal mozzarella with few thin slices (maybe it was a normal mozzarella and that's why I had strange effects) the raw ham was salty (maybe next time serve it on a separate plate and not directly on the pizza otherwise it's as if you put it in the cooking). The pizza dough was good but the experience was poor. Then the prices are high... €2 cover charge which already seems excessive to me. San Daniele €10 with a mediocre raw ham + €2 lactose-free + €2 for 7/8 small and thin slices of buffalo mozzarella. Elsewhere with 15€ you get a gourmet pizza not a bufala and raw with non-top quality ingredients. As far as I'm concerned, insufficient experience

16/06/2025: Nice place with the possibility of tables outside along the streets. Menu full of pizzas (maybe even too many), all very stuffed. Average taste. Good combinations, many unusual. Normal price (let's say that pizza, beer and dessert we paid about 25/28 € per person)

14/04/2025: Small but well-kept place. Located in the historic center of Grottaglie with its typical cuisine it offers a quality choice. The homemade starters and meat are excellent. Advised.

23/06/2025: Special inn, you come in and order what you want directly at the butcher's counter and then it is served to you at the table ready to be eaten!!! We had bombette, straccetti, livers, hamburgers really really delicious, as an entree they bring you bruschetta and pinzimonio!!!! You should book, otherwise no meat 🤤😉😎See you next time

21/06/2025: Il Fagiano was our caterer at the wedding at Masseria Don Luigi on June 9th, I couldn't ask for anything better, from the service to the food and the courtesy and professionalism of the staff.
