13/07/2025: We had a wonderful meal at Osteria Due Mari in Taranto! The orecchiette with turnip greens and mussels were exceptional—flavorful, well-balanced, and authentic. The sautéed mussels were also delicious, with the perfect seasoning. A traditional and welcoming restaurant with truly excellent cuisine—highly recommended! My husband said: "I finally found Taranto mussels!"

11/07/2025: I happened upon this restaurant with a friend on the day of our return from a short vacation in Taranto. We booked via the app, and once we arrived, we found a familiar yet very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Niccolò, who helped us choose our dishes, demonstrating great professionalism and customer service. As for the food, we were impressed by the excellent quality of all the dishes, but I was particularly impressed by the grilled calamari! The produce was incredibly fresh (Niccolò himself confirmed it was the catch of the day), and it was perfectly cooked, leaving it tender and flavorful. The appetizer of hot and cold seafood was also remarkable, leaving us extremely satisfied. This restaurant offers a high level of quality at absolutely fair prices. It's a must-visit for all tourists who want to eat well and avoid being ripped off. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. Full marks!

23/08/2025: The pizzas aren't very good, and the gluten-free one was probably contaminated (my wife left the place with a stomach ache). Very poor organization. In the first hour and a half, we only received a portion of chips. Immediately afterward, rustici and croquette pizzas arrived at the same time. Obviously, we ate the pizzas cold. There are better options out there.

21/06/2025: The ice creams are spectacular. We tried the fig, the pineapple and mint, the walnut and fig, and the basil, which was wonderful. 100% recommended.

11/08/2025: After many years of frequenting this place in the summer, I have to say with bitterness that the pizza is no longer what it used to be, the dough is much thinner and as soon as it cools down a little it becomes hard to cut and breaks, not much tomato, I don't know maybe they changed the pizza chef, who knows, the ingredients are always of quality

Mrs. Ornella welcomed us and listened to us throughout the process of choosing the food, the room and everything else... what can I say... yesterday on the birthday we were welcomed into a fairytale... the structure is wonderful, the room is cared for down to the smallest details... the staff is professional and very attentive to every request, we felt welcomed and pampered... the food was fantastic and all the guests were satisfied... my daughter realized her dream of celebrating her fairytale birthday! Thanks again to all the staff and especially to Mrs. Ornella for her patience... Thank you, thank you, thank you

08/07/2025: Villa Madama struck us with its regal beauty. We didn't need to look elsewhere because it's perfect and meticulously maintained. It features some particularly charming corners. The ceremony was beautiful, and the guests loved everything! The service was impeccable. Special thanks to Gabriele (the director) and Anna, who pampered us with immense professionalism! A special mention goes to Graziano, who supported us throughout the evening. Villa Madama and its staff are a GUARANTEE!

01/09/2025: Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with this restaurant. I wasn't sold on the lunch menu, and I would have liked to try the evening dishes. The service was quite slow. That said, having a vegan restaurant in Monopoli is still a nice touch.

31/08/2025: The food is good... could it be improved? Yes, I'd say so... some dishes are excellent, others less so... I recommend the crema catalana... magnificent, the chickpea hummus, and the fava beans and chicory... the parmigiana, a bit less so. (I'll never understand anyone who would pretend to cook it without batter-dredging and frying the eggplant... in any case, the negative review is due to the slightly acidic sauce!) Otherwise, a very nice and welcoming place with interesting combinations and experiments.
