19/06/2025: On our last day visiting Martina Franca we decided to try takeaway from Gastronomia la Fenice. The first thing that we noticed was locals dining and ordering take out there - a great sign. The owners were warm & welcoming. The lady took the time to explained and show us all the beautiful dishes on offer. Lots to choose from with a great selection of meats, pastas and vegetables. The food we chose was so good - beautiful ingredients cooked with love. We were so glad we stopped by at this wonderful little place. Grazie Mille!

08/06/2025: This Michelin restaurant was recommended by the owner of our lodging. We arrived in Bari rather late and decided to do ala carte (the preset menu would be my recommendation). We were lucky that they allowed us to come in near to their closing time. We started with Sea bream tartare with guacamole, caviar and herb (highly recommended). Cappellacci with prawn, sheep ricottas and truffle was fresh and flavorful. Risotto with pork and ricotta cheese was good even though was not as special as the Cappellacci. Btw they gave us complementary various apulian pettole and appetizers. This is a must visit when you are in Bari

21/06/2025: A hidden gem in the heart of Ostuni – Terra Nostra While walking through the white streets of Ostuni, on a hot day, we relied on the spontaneous advice of a kind local lady who suggested we stop at Terra Nostra, a place that is an enchanting mix between a delicatessen and a restaurant. It was a fortunate and memorable discovery, perfect for our lunch. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with great warmth by Mrs. Maria, an authentic and smiling hostess, who immediately made us feel welcome. The environment is simple, rustic and well-kept, and immediately transmits that family atmosphere that puts you at ease. The menu is typical of Ostuni, made of real flavors and local ingredients. We started with a burratina with capocollo from Martina Franca, both very fresh and so soft that they melt in the mouth. Next, a chicory with pan-fried cherry tomatoes and bay leaves, a real delicacy: the typical bitterness of the chicory was perfectly balanced by the scent of the bay leaves and the sweetness of the dried cherry tomatoes, creating a surprising balance of flavors. Then came the first courses: orecchiette with fresh tomato, stracciatella and pistachio, and orecchiette with turnip tops and anchovies. Both dishes were an explosion of genuine flavors, carefully prepared and balanced to perfection. To complete it all, a sparkling house rosé wine, fresh and very pleasant, ideal for a summer lunch. We couldn't help but try the parmigiana, which brought back memories of Sunday family lunches - authentic flavors, prepared with love, just "like mom used to make it". In the kitchen, assistant chef Noemi, under the supervision of chef Annamaria, was able to tell a living and sincere culinary tradition through the dishes. The service was impeccable thanks to Niccolò, always attentive, helpful and courteous. Terra Nostra is not just a restaurant, it is a small corner of Puglia where time slows down, the flavors speak to you and the hospitality warms you. A lunch we will not forget. Highly recommended. PS the bread they bring to the table is something sublime!!!?

27/06/2025: Serata di marzo , dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro cerco un ristorante nelle vicinanze dove concludere la giornata ! Da subito guardando le foto della location e dall’inusuale cognome del Padrone di casa , mi e’ piaciuto ed incuriosito ! E quindi ci siamo andati ! Locale tranquillo luci morbide .. ma soprattutto una bellissima esperienza gastronomica ! Trovare un ristorante dove tutto quello che mangi non lo avevi mai assaggiato , e’ sicuramente un caso raro ed intrattenendoci con il Padrone di casa abbiamo capito il perche’ ….. Ora vi conviene provare e capirete !

14/06/2025: Encantador restaurante para visitar y compartir una comida con amigos o familiares. El servicio fue excepcional. La comida era excepcional desde aperitivos hasta postre. El vino Puglia rosso era hermoso, así como la selección de porciones generosas de licores caseros, incluido el muy popular limoncello.

22/06/2025: A truly refined and suggestive location. In the summer, with the tables outside overlooking the beautiful cathedral square and the clock tower it is truly beautiful. The cuisine is sublime, I absolutely must return to try other dishes. Excellent service!

22/06/2025: Surprising place in a small village, quiet but very pleasant. We ate very well! We had meatballs stuffed with cheddar, a first course with a delicious burrata and a truly exceptional sandwich! Friendly and very helpful staff. I recommend a visit to this place if you are in these parts!

27/06/2025: Last week, on vacation in Salento, we had dinner with mixed grills, a sliced ​​steak and grilled vegetables. Excellent quality raw materials, perfect cooking, generous portions, impeccable hospitality. A note of merit to Mr. Vincenzo who cooked for us and gave us good advice for the rest of the vacation, but also to the staff who served us at the table: all attentive and friendly people. Excellent value for money, I recommend it!

23/06/2025: We have just been to this butcher's shop for lunch... an excellence! Atmosphere, food, hospitality, quality... what can I say, if you pass by Casarano you cannot miss it, excellent value for money, absolutely to try the grill... the bombette everything delicious the aubergines... the courgettes and their extra chicory!! Well done!! To return for sure!!
