28/06/2025: Christmas lunch all in all decent. The problem is the rudeness when going to the cashier to pay. My wife embarrassed in front of many people because the numbers didn't add up when they should know the right amount to pay, taking away the deposit and children who obviously paid less... My wife dismissed with a "go away... it's fine like this" ... As Cannavacciuolo says... Goodbye

La cucina propone piatti tipici della zona, come i *Baci di Piode alle ortiche di campo e guanciale di Sauris*, e il *Ganascino di vitello stufato al Nebbiolo*. Good dishes but in my opinion a little too salty, given the positive reviews and the presence in the Michelin guide I expected more. Excellent desserts and pralines. 19/05/2025: Several times with my family and friends, we choose Trattoria Monterosa for our lunches. The food is excellent and the service too! There is never a need to ask to bring water, wine or anything else to the table, because the staff is always careful to make sure there is always everything on the tables! The last lunch was on May 11th, for the annual cousins' lunch and for my mother's birthday, and everything was perfect! Thanks to Ale and Irene for their availability, compliments to the chef and the waiters!
