16/02/2025: As you would expect from a tavern: rustic and tasty food, without too many pretensions and served with friendliness. Delicious polenta and crepes as well as the cakes. Price more than fair, recommended for a dinner with typical mountain flavors :)

09/02/2025: As a first experience I must say that I will definitely return to this place, the food is of excellent quality from the pizza to the first and second courses and the delicious desserts and above all not the usual desserts but with careful presentation and delicate flavours, worth trying, the fast and efficient service, the staff are really friendly and nice, and all this in a warm and very welcoming family environment we immediately felt at ease, to our surprise it was a karaoke evening, engaging and very fun and despite all this the prices are really honest you can feel that the place is a first the objective is satisfaction and care for its guests, and a management that is based on passion and love for this job, in short, a mix that is difficult to find in other places, I liked it very much, I highly recommend trying to come to Trattoria Monterosa once, you will definitely come back. 21/12/2024: We were looking for a trattoria halfway between Milan and Turin. Splendid welcome, refined dishes and authentic atmosphere, excellent raw materials. Intimate tavern with only 20 seats and quality service. We will definitely be back.

17/02/2025: Siamo andati a cena per San Valentino. Piatti interessanti e ben cucinati, tutto a base di pesce. Il menù comprendeva: Cocktail di benvenuto con entratina, antipasto, primo, secondo con contorno e dolce (tra l’altro ottimi perché loro sono una pasticceria!), 1 calice di vino compreso, abbiamo speso 35€ a testa. Più che meritati! Locale carino, unica pecca, è un po’ rumoroso. Personale gentilissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente

06/03/2025: Stop on a Saturday on the recommendation of a friend, we had a really good time. From what I understand, the weekend menu is à la carte (I think fixed during the week): particular dishes, elaborately simple, where the flavors mix amiably. Delicious desserts, stratospheric wine. The place is not very large, tastefully furnished and the icing on the cake is the manager: nice, helpful and friendly. What can I say... If it wasn't so far away I would go back immediately!

We had lunch and drank at the only table in the small and particular shop, the room across the street was full, appreciating the quality of the products, the particularity and warmth of the environment and the frank and attentive management. Furthermore, the restaurant is right in the center between the small Piazza Dei Pesci and the "Anfiteatresque" Piazza Cavour, where we first had an aperitif in the pleasant Lounge Bar Portico 4, and then we concluded with desserts in the historic and evocative Pasticceria Bar Taverna e Tarnuzzer. Lunch details in Salsensoria: (Entrée) 6 Meatballs with dip. 2 bottles of Ruchè red wine. 3 bottles of water. 3 mixed starters of cheeses and cured meats. 6 Plin with roast sauce. 1 old-fashioned veal with tuna sauce. 1 Fassona serve with bagna cauda. 1 purple artichokes. 1 Lecce pasticciotto. 6 Coffee. Total €214.
