19/07/2024: I had lunch with the menu we chose for my niece's graduation. We reached the restaurant on foot as it is located not far from the university. I found myself very well....very kind staff and excellent food. I recommend it. Mary.

11/07/2024: Having truly stumbled upon Vercelli by chance, we were struck by the welcome and the sober elegance of the place. The food was excellent, the cost was absolutely fair: two appetizers, a (large) shared panissa, two waters and two coffees, all for 50 euros. I'll be back.

23/08/2024: Questo posto è stato perfetto il 19.08.24 in famiglia e ci siamo tornati anche la sera successiva con amici e figli. La prima sera abbiamo mangiato all’interno e la seconda all’esterno… personale molto gentile e capace in entrambe le situazioni. Cibo e piatti molto buoni e ben presentati, abbondanti e di alta qualità. Superiore alle nostre aspettative. Ricercati e variabili in base alle serate… ottimi vini Ci torneremo ogni volta che potremo. Dimenticavo ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!!! Quindi… favoloso 🤩

23/08/2024: Mi reco con mia moglie in questo locale, un po' retrò, e veniamo ben accolti con un sorriso e ci accomodiamo. Il menù è tradizionale, privo dei voli pindarici della cucina moderna, e con piatti di carne e pesce. Ho poco da dire, risotto al Gattinara e branzino al sale, buonissimi. Bravi. Ci tornerò.

27/08/2024: A truly special place, which stands out for its service. It seems like a family environment and the pizzas are special and really good. Friendly waiters, as well as the owner, we will gladly return. The other dishes are of large quantity, bathroom service, large parking. It can be reached easily from the road.

16/08/2024: Friendly, helpful and very dynamic staff. The pizzas are excellent, I suggest the Chiara, really excellent, not to mention the fried calamari. Fair price. No waiting between order and arrival. Thank you

06/08/2024: Let me start by saying that we didn't stop to sleep but to have lunch, we had lunch with the menu of the day, risotto with parmesan, and roast meat and chips, it was a choice that went beyond expectations, everything was excellent, very kind staff, low cost, highly recommended

06/07/2024: Refuge-Refreshment set in a spectacular context! we passed at the end of June with a still intense green. It was 4pm and we decided to refresh ourselves after the excursion with three cold beers and we had a great time! The very friendly staff also had mouth-watering cakes! You can find a video of our transit on my YT channel called "Qrp e Sentieri" with the title Valsesia, Villaggi Walser e Otro" you will be able to see how well kept the environment is. Happy excursions, we will return later also to stay overnight.

29/06/2024: Refuge reachable via two paths from the center of Alagna (203 - the second 203a is steeper and more direct with fewer steps but longer). Spectacular view of the Val D'otro. The only refreshment place in the valley. Very kind staff! Few dishes but genuine and good!

07/08/2024: Questo posto mi piace molto per l'atmosfera e la cordialità. Il cibo è buono, cucinato con cura. nella tradizione ma con un tocco di originalità. Atmosfera familiare, portate che prevedono anche porzioni più piccole (piatìn e piatùn). Non sono mai stata delusa. L'ultima volta sono stata a pranzo con mia mamma (anziana). Hanno avuto l'accortezza di segnalare che la frutta della macedonia avrebbe potuto essere dura da masticare. Piccole attenzioni che fanno la differenza.

29/06/2024: Historic restaurant where historically you can eat well. Traditional dishes, local products and the possibility of "piatin" i.e. small portions. We always come back willingly.

07/08/2024: La Piedigrotta is an experience to be had!! The food was impeccable and the service was really attentive towards my party. The over all atmosphere was so welcoming on top of the food being out of this world!! A true Italian experience. Thank you Maria for recommending. I’m going to have to return for another round soon!!! ❤️

05/08/2024: Everyone who helped us was very friendly, they don't speak Spanish but they made an effort to understand you. The wild wild mushroom and shrimp risotto was delicious.

15/08/2024: We've been coming back here for years. The pizza is very good, but the cooking is also up to par. Quality of products, courtesy, in a very particular place. I recommend it to everyone

08/08/2024: It took us 30 minutes just to order horrible pizza, we asked for a medium Coke and they served us a Coke that tasted like medicine and was also small

Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione manu' alla 3' composto da 1 antipasto 1 risotto (taglio sartoriale - molto buono) e 1 secondo Il dolce era escluso. Delusi per la piccola pasticceria servita con il caffè consistente in 2 miseri biscotti! Il giudizio è positivo. Una esperienza da provare

25/07/2024: Aside from the touchy but friendly Sardinian serving in the dining room, in the kitchen there is a pure representative of Italian genius. Apart from the guinea fowl on a bed of peperonata which is a risky combination that has nothing to do with either the territory or the palate (usually in season a more suitable and delicate bed of asparagus) everything else was prepared with a I love crystalline class and the savoir fair of a multi-starred restaurant.

07/07/2024: "Trattoria" in name only, but in terms of quality and composition of the dishes we are easily at the level of a good restaurant! Menu with at least 4/5 courses per type of dish which varies every month. Good choice on the wine list and the chocolate cake served with the hot Marsala zabaglione (or any variant, in any case with the fabulous Zabaione) is absolutely worth tasting.
