11/08/2025: Servizio al tavolo ok, personale gentile e veloce, unica nota negativa, i prezzi. Prendo una lattina di Schweppes e scopro che costa 5 euro, quando per la stessa il 9 giugno ho pagato euro 3.50. Non so quando possono cambiarsi i prezzi per la stagione. Ma lo trovo un po esagerato. Purtroppo l'idea di alzare i prezzi é terribile e a pagarne le conseguenze siamo tutti.

26/07/2025: Goede kwaliteit prijs verhouding met mooi uitzicht op Isola Bella. Met snelle goede bediening. Snap niet waar de slechte beoordelingen vandaan komen, het restaurant is meer waard!

13/04/2025: We spent a night in this place, but without using the restaurant service 🍽 (which I therefore cannot judge). Let me start by saying that in the past I have had the opportunity to try a wide range of different structures... from cabins and refuges... passing through very modest guesthouses and hostels (the latter also in places such as the suburbs of Budapest 🇭🇺, Riga 🇱🇻, Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Vilnius 🇱🇹...). In consideration of this, therefore... I won't even dwell on the infinity of small and large flaws (to use a euphemism......) of this structure, in relation to the state of the rooms 🛏 and the environments 🛋... just read several previous reviews 📝 (which I feel I can fully agree with) to get an idea. What really struck me rather, was the ABSOLUTE LACK OF TACT AND COURTESY of the staff (with the exception of the youngest girl 👩🏻, who kindly and jokingly - this must be said - showed us to our rooms). After checking in, around mid-afternoon, the owners asked us if we intended to eat there in the evening ✨; after replying that we preferred to "go for a walk around", we had the impression that our decision had at least annoyed them. Furthermore, before leaving, the older lady 👵🏻 asked us (with a severe look 🤔...): "where do you have to go?"...after explaining our intentions, the same lady added: "because here we are open until midnight 🕛". After reassuring her of this, we went out for dinner. The next morning, ready to check out at around 8.30 🕣, we found the reception and the ground floor completely deserted, in addition to the main 🚪 door closed 🔒 (therefore without any possibility of leaving independently). After a few minutes ⏳, despite the initial amazement and doubts, we looked for and, fortunately "crossed paths", another lady 👩🏻‍🦱...who in a decidedly annoyed manner 😒 (this time it was certainly not a simple impression) replied: "you could have warned us before, now I'll call the owner". After a few minutes the owner 👨🏻‍🦱 actually came down (clearly having just gotten out of bed 🛏) and greeted us with the same cordiality: "early risers eh". Maybe he didn't consider that maybe we might just be planning to make the most of our day. We therefore hurried to pay the bill (not so modest by the way) and leave the facility. From the first to the last moment of our, albeit short, stay... I didn't see the slightest smile on the faces of the staff (with the exception of the young girl, I underline this once again) nor even that minimum of courtesy that any restaurateur/hotelier should show (if only to be able to continue to have customers). Almost (and in fact, let's remove the almost) one had to feel embarrassed 😳, if not guilty, for the fact of having allowed themselves to leave the hotel 🏨 (and perhaps, as mentioned, having dragged the staff out of bed..) at 8.30 🕣 in the morning. SIMPLY AMAZING 😱. When we came out we all breathed a sigh of relief. To put it like Dante Alighieri: "Abandon all hope, you who enter". Jokes aside...obviously NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE WAY 👎. 13/07/2025: Everything very clean and tidy, friendly owner, excellent location, excellent value for money.

11/05/2025: I was there by chance on December 8th with my partner. At the table they told us that the only option of the day was the menu from the markets. I didn't like it there because there aren't any markets in Craveggia, why take advantage of them? We stopped because it was already 1pm. The menu included an appetizer, a platter with local cured meats that only my partner took, in reality a sad little plate of cold cuts from the supermarket. We took two different first courses but in reality both were seasoned with lots of onion and bacon and nothing more. A dish truly poor in quality and flavour. All accompanied by undrinkable wine because it was vinegar. The second course was served to us with a finger by the waitress who even left her fingerprint on the slice of meat. The dish served to my partner, polenta and two or three varieties of meat, seemed like a mix of leftovers. My fries were full of oil. We avoided dessert. They made us pay 35e each for all this lunch that you normally find for 10e during the week!!!! Shameful. We will never go back and I do not recommend it to everyone. I attach photos of the finger print and the oil from the chips, all shown to a waitress who apologised.

29/07/2025: Personale gentile, cibo molto buono e prezzi convenienti. Peccato che eravamo solo di passaggio! Streghette appese ovunque, come nel resto del paese, molto caratteristico!

02/07/2025: Abbiamo assaggiato il caratteristico "risotto in forma" buono e abbondante e molto coreografico. Come antipasto gustose verdure grigliate e una bresaola di tacchino prodotta da una macelleria della zona. Molto validi anche i dolci. Buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

06/08/2025: Siamo stati l’altro giorno a pranzo in questo posto speciale, arrivati grazie a un passaparola che si è rivelato uno dei più felici. Eleonora ci ha accolti con la grazia e la cura di chi non gestisce semplicemente un ristorante, ma apre davvero le porte di casa sua. La sensazione è stata quella di essere ospiti, non clienti. Il pranzo si è svolto con una vista incantevole sulle Alpi, mentre un venticello leggero muoveva le tende e rendeva tutto ancora più magico. Un angolo silenzioso, autentico, dove il tempo sembra rallentare. E tutto questo… con prezzi più che onesti: primi piatti gustosi e abbondanti a soli 10€, qualità altissima e una cucina che parla con sincerità. È raro trovare un equilibrio così perfetto tra bellezza, bontà e semplicità. Grazie Eleonora per la tua accoglienza e per averci fatto sentire, anche solo per un pranzo, parte di qualcosa di vero. Torneremo, senza alcun dubbio

04/08/2025: Buonasera,stati oggi a pranzo con famiglia,location veramente bella ,in un delizioso borgo,ottime tt le portate dall' antipasto ai primi,risotto in primis,prezzi giusti(che tutt' oggi è una rarita')un complimento particolare ad Eleonora,simpatica,disponibile e professionale,ci torneremo sicuramente
