02/11/2025: Amazing... truly... unique flavors... my compliments... The fried pork belly with its side dishes was truly something unique for me... Everything was truly exceptional. I had high expectations and they were far exceeded... I really recommend it and I hope to return soon. The saffron risotto with ossobuco was exceptional. But then be careful with everything... from the homemade felafel with red carrot cream offered by the restaurant while you wait, to the excellent bread and focaccia made by them. With the coffee they offered two desserts (just one coffee but there were two of us... so super sweet)... Thank you so much ❤️🙇🏼👍👌🥇🤙... everything was super at the right price 🙇🏼❤️🙇🏼🫶. I forgot about the dessert... what skill... a place I truly recommend with all my heart... I had a wonderful time. The girl in the dining room was also super kind and attentive... A truly sincere place in every way with extremely high quality ❤️. Trust me, it's truly SUPER 🙇🏼🥇👍❤️. 02/11/2025: After two years, we came back to eat here again, and everything was perfect as always 🤗. It's always a pleasure to return. We ordered the tasting menu, a truly wonderful experience 🙏. For a fine-dining restaurant, the portions were very generous, which isn't always the case. A huge compliment on the amazing coconut dessert. Simply wow 😱🥰.

29/10/2025: La Stella is one of those places you'll always want to return to. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the staff is kind and attentive, and every dish exudes passion and quality. The ingredients are fresh and beautifully presented, and you can sense the attention to every detail, from service to presentation. An ideal place to indulge in a tasty and relaxing break—perfect for a romantic dinner or a special lunch.

07/10/2025: A charming restaurant/shop near Domodossola, where you're immediately struck by a vast and carefully curated selection of wines and spirits, the hallmarks of the restaurant's atmosphere. You can order several bottles, with a wide selection of local and Italian wines, as well as wines by the glass, served with a pump system to prevent oxidation of the remaining wine in the bottle. The cuisine is very good, with simple yet well-prepared and beautifully presented ingredients; the main courses are pleasantly generous. The desserts are unique and excellent. The bill is a bit high, reasonable for the main courses and a bit high for the appetizers and first courses; I would avoid the €2.50-€3 cover charge. I would have offered a couple of extra amaros on a bill of over €500 that included the purchase of a large bottle of whisky. You can also purchase local cheeses, jams, and other products. For those who want to treat themselves every now and then, this is an excellent place that is worth a visit for both the food and the good drinks.

03/10/2025: Currently there’s no sign for the restaurant so appears it doesn’t exist and/or not open. Feels like a true local spot… trust me one of you be brave and go to the door up the short flight of stairs off the main road & you won’t be disappointed! Lovely service even if a language barrier sometimes, great selection of wine and yummy fresh food, recommend if you’re in the area :)

10/11/2025: I’ve traveled all across Italy, and this place is easily in my top 3 restaurants. The risotto was the best I’ve ever had, and the pastas were truly unique and full of flavor. I’d come back to Italy just for this restaurant!

First course: Strangolapreti with butter and sage and Trentingrana cheese. Second course: Stewed venison bites with Storo polenta. Dessert: Lele strudel with fresh cream. Water, glass of wine, coffee €38. 4* well deserved.

29/10/2025: A wonderful discovery! This authentic family-run restaurant served fresh fish from the lake and homemade fries. The terrace is lovely, away from the crowds, and very peaceful. The service was friendly. I highly recommend it.

29/10/2025: The restaurant is a bit hidden among small streets but is well signposted. Very friendly staff welcomed us for lunch and took great care of our toddler. The gnocchi were delicious, and the fish stew with potatoes was also very good. Recommended!

02/10/2025: Amazing! Lunch or dinner, from the classic Scholl-style sandwich (but larger), to steaks and fried foods! The staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to the customer! The food is truly delicious, and when you leave, you just want to come back. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: A delightful lakeside restaurant offering both freshwater fish and a variety of vegan options. It's hard to find a restaurant on this island that isn't a tourist trap, and this was a wonderful discovery! Reservations are required, well in advance.

08/10/2025: Standing on that terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore feels like you're on the bow of a ship. Few dishes, as befits an osteria, but all well-prepared and made with quality ingredients.
