23/11/2025: Excellent food and competitive prices. Excellent house wine. We went on a Saturday for lunch. There was a wide selection of starters, main courses, and side dishes. Generous portions and high-quality ingredients! Reservations are recommended because demand is high. It's a little difficult to get to, but that's exactly what makes it special. Booking over the phone secured our spot, and within a minute we were seated at a table sipping their wine. Highly recommended. Now that I know it, I'll definitely be stopping by at least once a month!

14/11/2025: Beautiful trattoria! Homemade food, truly excellent quality. We had main courses, side dishes, and dessert. Everything was delicious and the final price was very fair. The owner was friendly.

23/02/2026: The best pizza tour I've ever had. Between the friendly owners and the excellent pizza, the evening flew by. Everything was excellent.

06/03/2026: Friendly service, delicious pizza with exceptionally good dough, and a lovely ambiance in the glass-enclosed conservatory; the location right on the street is still pleasant and easily accessible. The seafood pasta was tasty, but rather average compared to the pizza. The prices are fair, and the overall value is good. Just barely five stars and a great choice for a relaxed pizza experience on Lake Maggiore.

04/02/2026: We had the pleasure of dining here on a Saturday evening during a weekend getaway. The owner of the B&B where we were staying (Villa Preziosa) recommended this place to us, and we thank him. We tried a Margherita, paccheri alla norma, and octopus Galician-style. Everything was truly excellent, highly recommended! Thank you so much.

10/11/2025: At the OK Bar in Castelletto Ticino, you can find excellent breakfasts in the morning, delicious coffee, and a nice roaster that also sells excellent coffee. The cakes are also very good. Lake Maggiore is just a few steps away.

24/10/2025: At Ok Bar, you truly feel at home. A refined and welcoming establishment, run by extraordinary people who combine professionalism and warmth. You don't come here just for a coffee—which, incidentally, is excellent and hand-roasted on-site—but to indulge in a moment of true relaxation. It's the ideal place for a leisurely break, a chat with friends, and that pleasant sense of familiarity that only Ok can offer.

Everything was delicious, but an honorable mention goes to the tiramisu, which was out of this world for me. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. I can't wait to go back again.

23/01/2026: A shell place. For those in the area, this is a fun place to go. Great and cheap pizzas. A selection of draft beers, which were really good. Fun atmosphere. Big place. Plenty of parking. Open until late. Lots of local people and live music. We really enjoyed it.

11/01/2026: I went yesterday for the first time... overall, the experience wasn't as positive as I expected. I have nothing to say about the live entertainment, which is one of the venue's strong points. I wanted to have dinner to secure a seat, but it was a negative experience, not so much for the food, which is average for a pub, but for the wait after ordering: an hour and a half to receive the dinner, something embarrassing that can't exist these days! All the tables around us had the same wait, so I can't believe it was packed just this evening, because the venue is known in the area for its live entertainment, so I think the food service organization needs a complete overhaul. One more thing... what's the point of having fans blowing cold air on people? ..a piece of advice: create a sort of compass/put a bulkhead to accompany the entrance to the venue, because with the coming and going of people, a polar draft was entering the venue, as evidenced by the many people sitting with their jackets on. And besides, it's a waste of heating that doesn't do its job at all. Next time I'll be "already eaten" and wearing tights underneath...

08/02/2026: Unfortunately, the review wasn't positive. Paniscia with parbloid rice, wine added afterward, and unsuitable ingredients. The side dish was garlicky and not mentioned. The price was high for a meal supposedly for workers. Sorry.

Coffee and pastry shop available both inside and outside the building. Ample outdoor seating. Play area and garden for children. A pleasure to try! A short walk from the city center.

The experience began with a very fresh cuttlefish tartare, delicate and perfectly balanced in flavor, showcasing the quality of the raw material with great elegance. Each course was a crescendo of flavors, presented with care and attention to detail. The finale was simply memorable: a surprising dessert, with an intense peanut flavor, even shaped like a peanut. Not only delicious, but also creative and spectacular, a perfect conclusion that demonstrates research, technique, and personality. A special round of applause goes to the waiters, whose professionalism is impeccable... attentive, friendly, always present without being intrusive. They accompanied each dish with precise explanations and evident passion for their work. The restaurant is super clean, with attention to every detail, and a welcoming and refined atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to the chef, who truly outdid himself. You can sense his love for cooking, his creativity, and his desire to amaze without ever losing sight of the harmony of flavors. An experience I absolutely recommend and can't wait to repeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/11/2025: The hotel has a great location by the lake, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They're very fond of children and dogs. Our dog was allowed everywhere in the hotel. The small green area by the gravel parking lot is lovely for watching the sunset in the evening. However: the food is way too expensive. The portions are so tiny. €15 for spaghetti with tomato sauce and burrata cheese, and then you get such an incredibly small portion. My partner's meal wasn't much bigger, but it was even more expensive. There are stairs everywhere, which makes it very difficult with a stroller, especially if you want to go to breakfast. Not every baby can sit in the IKEA car seat they offer for that long. Of course, you could leave the stroller in the room, but that's really inconvenient for very young children. Breakfast is the same every single day. And I mean exactly the same. Two or three types of cold cuts, two or three types of cheese, two types of rolls and toast... and the coffee wasn't exactly the best. A shame for Italy... Unfortunately, the dishes were often dirty and the scrambled eggs were often cold. The Wi-Fi in the room was very poor. Streaming was impossible. Which isn't exactly normal in 2022. Not everyone watches ZDF and ARD. The rooms were also very noisy. We prayed every night that our baby wouldn't cry for the sake of the other guests. Luckily, it didn't. Cleanliness was good, so we can't complain about that. The fold-out bed in the room was loose. We only noticed because something fell off and we had to open it. I wouldn't want to sleep on it; it would definitely tip over. Generally, quite a few things were worn or had defects. Regarding the location: if you want to go into town, you have to walk about 200 meters along the road because there's no sidewalk. There is a small strip of grass, but it's no help with a stroller. For cyclists, however, the hotel is a great starting point for a ride around the lake or other routes. ... If you're traveling without a baby and a dog, you can find a few days of peace and quiet at this hotel. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

30/10/2025: This hotel is perfect. The staff is lovely. The restaurant is really very good and child-friendly (children's menus and high chairs). Ideal location.

25/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant for a birthday. The appetizers were exceptional, with a wide variety of Piedmontese specialties. For my main course, I chose the braised cheek, which was truly delicious, and to finish, an excellent chocolate cake.
