25/05/2025: A perfect evening! Last night I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends and I couldn't have asked for anything better! The aperitif was simply exceptional: rich, varied and with truly superior quality appetizers, far from the usual banal aperitifs that you find around. Every taste was a discovery, and we were all pleasantly surprised. A special thanks goes to Alessandro, Natalia and Beatrice, who with their kindness, availability and attention to detail made the evening even more special. The whole company really appreciated their way of welcoming us and making us feel at home. We will definitely be back, and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an evening or a brunch dedicated to taste and hospitality.

05/06/2025: Nice restaurant on Lake Maggiore. Lots of tables inside. The tables on the verandas are charming with a nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit dated but spacious. Food cooked very well, with lake fish dishes. Not abundant dishes. Small parking lot.

13/05/2025: If you pass through Novara you absolutely cannot miss this experience.. GiÒBU ice cream is hands down the best ice cream shop in Novara! There is passion, research of ingredients and style in everything they create.. the pistachio cream is one of my favorite flavors, and if you want, they also put fresh ricotta on top of your ice cream.. I LOVE IT! They also make fresh cannoli.. so much stuff!

08/04/2025: I had dinner there with my family a few weeks ago and we had a great time. Local products and typical dishes of excellent quality, Parma ham, anolini in broth, Lambrusco, tagliatelle and dolcetto. All very good.

21/05/2025: I went with my husband for lunch on Saturday 17/05/25 at this restaurant, I can only give it 5 well-deserved stars! We did the tasting: appetizers with cold cuts and pickles, 2 first courses and for the second course polenta with 4 different types of meat, dessert, coffee and bitter, house wine to accompany everything... Everything was really excellent, the quality/price ratio is really cheap and you eat really well. The place is very well looked after and the view is spectacular. The staff is smiling and very helpful. We will definitely be back! Compliments indeed!

23/04/2025: The Easter lunch was excellent with excellent dishes and courteous and professional staff. Right quality and price ratio. It's a shame that it can only be accessed for events. Unfortunately the weather was gloomy otherwise the location with the sun would certainly have been more enjoyable given the beautiful park that surrounds it.

29/04/2025: This evening, after a long time, I went to eat toast. It was done by a very kind and super helpful girl (Desirée) who made me a super good toast. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

30/04/2025: This is a great place to enjoy aperitivo with your friends or family! The offer price is 8 euros per person, but they serve plenty and a variety of snacks. If you are lucky, you can see the rainbow from the outside seat. The orange Grappa tasted nice. If you are a traveler, please remember Trattoria Da Zia Giò is not caffetteria, so that she does not serve cappuccino, caffè americano, and macchiato.

22/04/2025: ...in the tiny town square where the delightful Romanesque church of S. Lorenzo stands we came across this simple, well-kept restaurant in Piedmontese style (the Castellamonte stove in the center of the room) where we ate very well.

27/05/2025: I have already gone to eat at the two mothers-in-law's inn several times, and each time it has been a more than positive experience. This time I was with my dad in the midday, we opted for two seconds. I ate a slice of beef with zola and hazelnuts from Piedmont, cooked rare as per my request, tender and very good meat paired with truly authentic zola and hazelnuts. My dad ate an Irish Angus steak with wasabi, delicious and very tasty. Very rich wine list, but this time we took 33 bottled water and beer. Lunch ended with two coffees, for a total of €50. Prices in line with other places in the area. It is certainly one of those places where it is worth returning every now and then to try new dishes. During the week at midday, as there is both an à la carte menu and a fixed menu, it is advisable to book.

08/05/2025: We had a great evening! The dishes were elaborate and delicious, the wine also very good. One of our best restaurants during our trip to Italy. The little extra: There is very convenient parking right in front of the restaurant.

07/05/2025: Cosa devo dire, frequento il locale da prima del COVID e, dopo la temporanea chiusura, mi è mancato. Il locale è piacevole, con pochi posti, giusti per la cucina, ed i tavoli non sono attaccati. Buona la scelta dei vini. Bravi in sala. La cucina è favolosa, priva di voli pindarici tipici della cucina moderna, dove si riempiono i piatti di prodotti esotici e con nomi roboanti, per inseguire la cucina stellata, senza averne le doti, ma alzando i prezzi dei piatti e diminuendo le dosi. In questo locale i prezzi sono onesti, i piatti sono ben cucinati ed hanno il gusto dei prodotti usati. Quando usciamo dal locale, siamo soddisfatti dalla vista dei piatti, deliziati dal gusto, coccolati dal servizio ad un prezzo giusto. Bravi, bravi bravi.
