10/11/2025: At the OK Bar in Castelletto Ticino, you can find excellent breakfasts in the morning, delicious coffee, and a nice roaster that also sells excellent coffee. The cakes are also very good. Lake Maggiore is just a few steps away.

You don't come here just for a coffee—which, incidentally, is excellent and hand-roasted on-site—but to indulge in a moment of true relaxation. It's the ideal place for a leisurely break, a chat with friends, and that pleasant sense of familiarity that only Ok can offer.

19/03/2026: I visited the Opificio guys for the second time in a year, this time to celebrate a special occasion, and once again they were impeccable. The place is simply enchanting: welcoming, youthful, fresh, and fun, yet still well-maintained, with the entrance offering a great view of their shop's products and the wine and beverage section. The menu is truly extensive, offering plenty of original options, even for vegetarians. The most appreciable thing is that they don't discriminate between the gastronomic choices: alongside a traditional dish like veal with tuna sauce, you'll find delicious vegetarian appetizers, without necessarily separating the two categories. The noodles and grilled cabbage are incredibly delicious, and the sauces are well-rounded but don't overpower the flavors. The staff and service are the restaurant's strong points, as their kindness and smiles make you feel at ease from start to finish. I'll be back very soon, fantastic!

10/03/2026: What a great find! Even though it's close to home, we'd never tried it before. The place specializes in grilled meats and pizza. We tried the tomahawk and I have to say it was sublime. The staff was kind and attentive. Next time we'd like to try the pizza, which looked really inviting.

Coffee and pastry shop available both inside and outside the building. Ample outdoor seating. Play area and garden for children. A pleasure to try! A short walk from the city center.

27/03/2026: A truly remarkable culinary experience, thanks to dishes that are original and creative, yet perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor! The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the tasting experience was a delight from start to finish. The venue is well-maintained and very welcoming. The only thing I think could be improved is the service: impeccable, but perhaps too formal and pretentious.

16/11/2025: We had lunch here today! We used a gift voucher. A very, very cute little place. All the dishes were unique and delicious. I had the fish tasting menu, while my husband had the à la carte dishes. Everything was truly excellent!!! I love first courses, and they were excellent here; I had the purple gnocchi with swordfish and scialatielli with clams, while my husband had a blueberry, sausage, and toma risotto...delicious! And what can I say about the desserts!!!! Mine was a raspberry mousse with meringue, while my husband had a zabaglione, which was prepared in front of us. The service was also excellent: not intrusive, always attentive to the table, and very kind. We're thinking of returning soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

15/02/2026: We went there for dinner with friends and family and had a really good time. Spectacular food, excellent service, a family atmosphere, and super friendly and approachable owners. Everything was delicious, but an honorable mention goes to the tiramisu, which was out of this world for me. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. I can't wait to go back again.

23/01/2026: A shell place. For those in the area, this is a fun place to go. Great and cheap pizzas. A selection of draft beers, which were really good. Fun atmosphere. Big place. Plenty of parking. Open until late. Lots of local people and live music. We really enjoyed it.

11/01/2026: I went yesterday for the first time... overall, the experience wasn't as positive as I expected. I have nothing to say about the live entertainment, which is one of the venue's strong points. I wanted to have dinner to secure a seat, but it was a negative experience, not so much for the food, which is average for a pub, but for the wait after ordering: an hour and a half to receive the dinner, something embarrassing that can't exist these days! All the tables around us had the same wait, so I can't believe it was packed just this evening, because the venue is known in the area for its live entertainment, so I think the food service organization needs a complete overhaul. One more thing... what's the point of having fans blowing cold air on people? ..a piece of advice: create a sort of compass/put a bulkhead to accompany the entrance to the venue, because with the coming and going of people, a polar draft was entering the venue, as evidenced by the many people sitting with their jackets on. And besides, it's a waste of heating that doesn't do its job at all. Next time I'll be "already eaten" and wearing tights underneath...

08/02/2026: Unfortunately, the review wasn't positive. Paniscia with parbloid rice, wine added afterward, and unsuitable ingredients. The side dish was garlicky and not mentioned. The price was high for a meal supposedly for workers. Sorry.

26/12/2025: Unfortunately, my Christmas lunch was an unpleasant experience. I called to ask if it was possible to have a vegetarian menu, possibly with fish, and the answer was no problem, in fact, I can indulge myself. The price of the menu was €60, drinks not included, and we were told that they would give us a discount... moral of the story: 4 courses that could have passed for vegetarians because they were on the normal menu with vegetables and cheese. I must point out that we, there were 3 of us, were not given the vegetarian menu. Our 3 friends were given the Christmas lunch menu like all the other diners. Instead of the crostini with salmon, we were given a raw artichoke salad, then risotto with pumpkin, which I didn't have because I'm intolerant. I had gnocchi with castelmagno cheese, as a second course, a vegetable burger with cooked vegetables, which I didn't want, and to finish, a slice of artisanal panettone... moral of the story: at the time of payment, €60. per person, when we mentioned the discount, the response was, "Well, it's Christmas!" So if because it's Christmas I have to spend the aforementioned amount to eat next to nothing, I'll go to a place where they have a vegetarian menu with the option of fish and spend €30/35 max...never again."
