10/08/2024: Osteria in a small hamlet just above Lake Orta, a quiet and well-kept place. The food is great! Accepts dogs. Just before entering the Borgetto you will find a car park as the tavern does not have one. Perhaps the cost of the dishes is a little high, for two with 2 water, 1 starter, 1 first course, 1 dessert, 2 coffees we spent €57

24/08/2024: We found this place by chance, wandering the streets above Orta, looking for an al fresco restaurant. An input on the internet and a local person directed us to Ca' Mea. Location a bit remote and not easy to find but it was worth it. Pleasant and quiet place. Fixed price menu of great quality, preparation and price. Very kind and professional young waiter. A nice surprise and thank goodness we didn't stop in Orta. Furthermore, at 11 km there is Mottarone where we found 23° of refreshment and a view of the lakes

16/08/2024: We returned two days after a very pleasant evening, the cuisine being very pleasant. But the second time it was ordinary, the Caesar salad was anything but that, the grissini not fresh. The view is great and the service very good.

16/08/2024: Food itself was fine. It's just a pity that the amuse was included on the bill even though it was offered 'from the kitchen'. Comparatively a lot of bread and no other side dishes. Unless you pay for it. The coffee was cold. All in all quite expensive for what you get.

09/08/2024: Sicily is very present in the North of Italy, in Lombardy for economic reasons (many Sicilians migrated to work in factories) and in Piedmont also for political reasons (at the time of Italian unification , King Victor Emmanuel ensured that Sicily became part of the new Italy and fought against selfishness under the guise of autonomy). It's always a pleasure to eat a granita. So, let's say it right away if the one with blackberries and almonds was very good, the one with mint - with green coloring - was not a granita, but more like rapa, crushed ice with syrup . For a Sicilian, confusing the two would amount to an act of high culinary treason. Otherwise the store is more like a chain. However, this is the only place where we found granita in Novara (but when we typed granita Novara the store did not appear in the Google results).. Prefer granita to real fruit is our advice.

29/07/2024: The pizza is fabulous, the cuisine is even more so, everything is excellent, the staff is friendly and competent.. The restaurant manager Marco is the top!! Super recommended!!

29/07/2024: I ate in this fish restaurant and I must say that the quality of the fish was good, nothing to say. The mixed seafood starter was really excellent, I really appreciated it. The Amici Miei mixed fried dish is also very good with battered vegetables accompanying the dish. A good restaurant!

09/08/2024: Friendly staff. I had a lasagna with a glass of red = 26€ Dry and mushy lasagna.

06/08/2024: Restaurant recommended by the receptionist at the Cavour hotel. Very warm welcome from the entire restaurant team. The waiter recommended a tasting platter of different typical Piedmontese dishes as well as an excellent local white wine. I recommend.

30/07/2024: The lake sashimi is exquisite. The starter of prawns and watermelon with Campari was also excellent. The homemade duck dishes are delicious. I would suggest increasing the portion of the black cabbage risotto. Well trained staff. Location in excellent position. Adequate account.

20/07/2024: Very beautiful view of the lake. The staff is pleasant but that's it. Caesar salad with raw chicken in the middle. 3 langoustines of a good size but no pliers to break the legs.

02/07/2024: Had an unexpectedly delicious lunch on the terrace. Piatto unico and a Tartare di salmone. What a delicious meal we had. Birra alla spina piccola is just a big mug of beer. Very friendly service and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely come back here.
