19/03/2024: Great hotel location for Orta san Gulio. Very welcoming & accommodating staff, free parking which is a bonus in this area. Short walk to the town. View from the Suite terrace was fabulous!

01/04/2024: The Bistrot la Piazzetta is located in the central square with a wonderful view of Lake Orta, a lake of glacial origin located in Piedmont, divided between the provinces of Novara and that of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. The restaurant is equipped with a dehors on the small square and offers bar service, aperitifs and an à la carte menu. The staff is courteous and quick in serving the tables, the raw materials used are typical of the area and of high quality. I recommend it to anyone wanting to make a short stop for an aperitif or lunch. €€/€€€

18/03/2024: We were on the first evening of our stay in this very nice and welcoming pizzeria in the center of Orta. In addition to the really good pizza, we were satisfied by the kind and welcoming staff also towards Bloom, our golden retriever who was very happy to have spent an evening in the company of people who loved her. We recommend it for every aspect!

22/03/2024: A great local restaurant with a 2 course set menu lunch for €13. We had pasta followed by delicious fish with orange and a salad. Seating inside and on the terrace.

17/03/2024: Very welcoming place with young, efficient and smiling staff. We really appreciated the fish and vegetable starter, the pizza was excellent with a thin and delicious base, the Neapolitan pastiera was extraordinary. A valid alternative to lunch on the lakefront, here at the club there is plenty of free parking, a beautiful view of the church and the surrounding countryside and lots of tranquility

09/08/2023: Locale accogliente e cibo buono. Abbiamo mangiato le tagliatelle con sugo di cinghiale. Abbiamo avuto un problema ma la proprietaria lo ha risolto in modo brillante. Consigliato.

26/03/2024: Domenica sono stata a far merenda in questo bar situato vicino al parcheggio Prarondo con vista montagne innevate. Posto tranquillo e carino e il personale gentile. Ho preso un caffè macchiato molto buono che sembrava quasi un cappuccino 😋 È stata una bella pausa dopo aver fatto la gita sull'Isola di San Giulio e nel centro centro storico. Consigliato!

02/04/2024: We spent Easter Monday 2024 lunch here, while staying in the B&B under the management of Tiziano, owner of the restaurant. Fantastic lunch, with a varied and intriguing menu that included all the river specialties, in particular the crayfish, which it would be a shame not to try if you pass by Bussi. I also underline the friendliness and hospitality of Tiziano, available to give advice and explanations on the food and wine offered in the restaurant. The pizzas were also absolutely approved, good and of good quality, which we tried for dinner on another evening during our days spent in the B&B. Highly recommended.

05/04/2024: We were VERY positively surprised by the perfect quality of the food, the service and the ambience inside, on the first floor! Because we had always viewed the restaurant as a "tourist trap", we only came here after 5 years of Easter holidays, on the recommendation of a local. Lovely again!
