28/12/2025: On our drive south, we stopped at this Italian restaurant because it's close to the motorway. We had assumed it would be a "normal" pizzeria, but we were surprised by the very extensive menu. We opted for fish and weren't disappointed. The owner's wine recommendation was also spot on. We'll be back!

06/09/2025: Everything was excellent and I highly recommend it. We returned after 2 years and everything is still the same... welcoming, good food, no wait... after about 5 minutes the first courses arrive, followed by other courses without a long wait... Everyone is very kind. I will always return whenever I'm in the area. Everything is fine.

12/01/2026: I've been wanting to go there for a while, today, taking advantage of these happy holidays. A friend and I decided to try it. We were completely satisfied, and the price is good for all budgets. If you want to spend 30-40 euros each, you can do it; spend 100 and splurge. You can do it, a place at the all-you-can-eat price. Definitely a quality experience. We chose the 40-euro menu. We were satisfied. Drinks, including coffee, and two licorice sticks offered at the counter couldn't be better.

19/11/2025: The hotel has a great location by the lake, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They're very fond of children and dogs. Our dog was allowed everywhere in the hotel. The small green area by the gravel parking lot is lovely for watching the sunset in the evening. However: the food is way too expensive. The portions are so tiny. €15 for spaghetti with tomato sauce and burrata cheese, and then you get such an incredibly small portion. My partner's meal wasn't much bigger, but it was even more expensive. There are stairs everywhere, which makes it very difficult with a stroller, especially if you want to go to breakfast. Not every baby can sit in the IKEA car seat they offer for that long. Of course, you could leave the stroller in the room, but that's really inconvenient for very young children. Breakfast is the same every single day. And I mean exactly the same. Two or three types of cold cuts, two or three types of cheese, two types of rolls and toast... and the coffee wasn't exactly the best. A shame for Italy... Unfortunately, the dishes were often dirty and the scrambled eggs were often cold. The Wi-Fi in the room was very poor. Streaming was impossible. Which isn't exactly normal in 2022. Not everyone watches ZDF and ARD. The rooms were also very noisy. We prayed every night that our baby wouldn't cry for the sake of the other guests. Luckily, it didn't. Cleanliness was good, so we can't complain about that. The fold-out bed in the room was loose. We only noticed because something fell off and we had to open it. I wouldn't want to sleep on it; it would definitely tip over. Generally, quite a few things were worn or had defects. Regarding the location: if you want to go into town, you have to walk about 200 meters along the road because there's no sidewalk. There is a small strip of grass, but it's no help with a stroller. For cyclists, however, the hotel is a great starting point for a ride around the lake or other routes. ... If you're traveling without a baby and a dog, you can find a few days of peace and quiet at this hotel. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

30/10/2025: This hotel is perfect. The staff is lovely. The restaurant is really very good and child-friendly (children's menus and high chairs). Ideal location.

23/09/2025: It was a pleasant discovery. Pleasant atmosphere, professional and friendly service, and excellent cuisine. Few dishes, but well-made and beautifully presented, with traditional local dishes (the "tapulone") and other well-revisited Piedmontese dishes. The meat was excellent (diaphragm...) and there was a good selection of cheeses. We returned a second time a year later and... same result...great atmosphere and... the food was good!!!!

07/09/2025: This trattoria is a surprise. The care that Davide, the owner and chef, has put into revitalizing this old farmhouse is heartfelt. And you'll find the same care in his dishes, simple but made with quality ingredients. It's wonderful to be welcomed by his smile and the kindness of his girls. 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

19/12/2025: Since 1986, Il Rapanello Restaurant has been a favorite for those who love seafood cuisine with a lake view. The atmosphere is intimate and charming, particularly pleasant in the summer with outdoor seating just steps from the water. The menu focuses on fresh seafood and offers classic and sophisticated dishes, such as the famous "Pinataccia" (a type of stew) or excellent risottos. The service is generally friendly and professional, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. Some reviews point to differences in the service or the presentation of special dishes, but overall the experience remains pleasant and the quality/price ratio is considered fair by many. Recommended for a romantic dinner or a lakeside lunch with friends or family.

24/12/2025: Located on the highway connecting Borgomanero to Novara, this small restaurant offers a good number of seats and excellent service, given the interest of those who answered the phone to reserve a table inquiring whether any of us had allergies or not—a fact that very few people do. As for the food, I ordered peppers in bagna cauda for an appetizer, spaghetti with squid ink with red mullet ragù and burrata, if I remember correctly, and finally grilled octopus tentacle. Average prices. Relatively quick service and excellent product quality. Special thanks to the waiters for their attentive and friendly service.

10/01/2026: Excellent pizza, with a few carefully prepared dishes. Attentive service, and they accommodated our needs when my wife was pregnant. Four stars because we tried calling twice (during business hours) and they didn't answer. In the end, we went anyway and it was open—so much the better!
