02/08/2025: What a fabulous place. I went there for lunch today and had a wonderful meal, al fresco and totally relaxing. Both my friends and I enjoyed a carefree and peaceful lunch, because that's exactly the atmosphere you breathe. The tasting menu was recommended by a super-kind woman. From the menu, I especially loved the veal with tuna sauce and the Fassona beef for the second course: delicious and well-cooked. The tagliatelle and dessert were also good. By the way, compliments to the chef. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to my friends. If you pass by, stop by for a delicious lunch or dinner.

01/09/2025: Very nice place (a stilt house on the lake), clean. Very kind and friendly staff, both the owner and the girl who served us were nice. The fried lattarini (which we had as an appetizer...) were delicious, but the tagliolini with lake fish (perch, definitely) were exceptional, as were the perch fillets. We'll be back!! PS: We were looking for dishes with lake fish. If I may, I'd advise the owners to include more dishes of this type on the menu to showcase lake fish, which is too often overlooked, and to stand out from other restaurants. After all, if you want seafood, go to the seaside... ;-)

24/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place on Lake Orta, and we can only say beautiful words about that perfect day. Enchanting and suggestive place, impeccable service, superlative food. There was not a detail that was not taken care of to perfection. We thank Il Giardinetto infinitely for making our wedding unique, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. I would add that we have attended it on other occasions, both for our son's baptism, and for dinner and aperitif and we can only confirm the same satisfaction every time. 06/09/2025: A plate of fregola with a truly ridiculous amount of food for 22 euros... A few years ago the quantities were decent, but now they're scandalously insufficient even for an appetizer, let alone a first course! A real scam!!!

01/09/2025: Very good, high-quality food, great atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Areas for improvement: Ambience: even better with candles on the table. Service: It's best to avoid sharing unhappy experiences with customers; it's not a sign of good manners. When bringing a plate to the table, you should note if the glasses are empty and promptly ask for a refill. If you use the provided napkins, it would be great if the waiter took them away once used (they took the bread basket but left the used napkins on the table). If a customer stains the leather placemat with sauce, the waiter should wipe it clean for the next course. When asking for the bill, if you need to go to the cashier yourself to pay, the waiter should let you know right away. The cashier could ask the waiter for the table number instead of the customer. Let's be clear: these are all subtleties that don't matter at all for a "true" place, but for a place with a rich history that wants to improve, they could be a great idea.

26/08/2025: The place isn't very big, so reservations are definitely recommended, but it's very nice, and it also has a welcoming outdoor area, which was perfect when we were there in mid-August.

20/07/2025: Wooow! No teníamos expectativas - acabamos de llegar a la ciudad después de un viaje muy largo - era un domingo, así que muchos de los restaurantes cerraron. Aparcamos justo fuera de la puerta - y éramos el único. El chef tradujo toda la tarjeta del menú - y donde había un problema “Google” lo manejó 😉 Todos ( 3 ) pedimos diferentes comidas -normalmente NUNCA tengo un entrante Y también un postre, pero después de las dos primeras comidas tenía tanta curiosidad que NECESITABA el postre - y no me decepcionó! (Tenía el “tiramisu”) pero los otros postres eran igualmente buenos! Tuve una buena botella de Chianti Classico 2021 - que era perfecto y un moscato de asti para postre - delicioso! !! Podría ser porque solo estábamos nosotros ahí dentro - pero el buen ROCK/POP estaba sonando encantador a todo volumen desde los altavoces - lo cual fue GENIAL! Sin duda volveremos a hacer esto la próxima vez que estemos aquí!

27/06/2025: Fish dinner during the week with my wife. We had a good time. Kind and welcoming staff. Very good dishes and excellent raw materials. Good atmosphere The prices are fair. Just under €40 per person for 2 dishes each, water and 1 glass of wine The menu published on the website is to be appreciated

16/08/2025: A delicious festive lunch, with an à la carte menu. Excellent ingredients. Attention to detail. Classic cuisine with a few innovative twists, beautifully balanced in flavor. Impeccable and very friendly staff. I'll be back. The atmosphere is a bit cramped, but comfortable.

20/07/2025: We booked a table for lunch in the morning for six people. The service was terrible. We were greeted immediately upon entry, and the appetizer was served quickly. We waited an hour for the first course. When we asked how long we still had to wait, we were told, "Yes, the first courses are coming out, they're ready." After another 15 minutes without being served, we got up and left. The room wasn't full, but with five tables, we only ordered one appetizer each and one first course, without overdoing it because we had to leave within an acceptable time. A terrible experience, and above all, we were taken for a ride.

16/08/2025: A green setting with an Olympic-sized pool and fairly well-maintained surrounding area. The welcome and service were poor. Little attention to customers, and the staff who greeted us and then served us at the bar were brusque and often rude. Exactly the opposite of what anyone who runs a venue open to the public should do. The bathrooms need updating and cleaning. Toilet paper is available on request. Luckily, I was in good company and, above all, I didn't choose the location myself. There's work to be done...
