24/05/2025: Was expecting a nice setting and delicious food considering came to see Fontanafreda and read about food on reviews. Unfortunately food was average. Just did not compare to all the great food we had in Barolo region. Taste was so so. The place looks like a large coffee shop in a big hotel and considering we are in the middle of vineyards it’s totally indoors with no views. Quite disappointed. The service was friendly.

07/05/2025: Osteria sita all'interno del Villaggio Narrante di Fontanafredda. Ingresso attraversando l'enoteca. Ampia sala. Menù non ampio. Buon il vitello tonnato e il brasato. Pessimo il vino scelto (un Barbera, mal di testa tutta la notte). Bene il servizio.

29/06/2025: Dinner "al fresco". Given the torrid climate we decide to come to dinner here, a place we had spotted during a walk in Bisalta. Everything very good and genuine. I also discovered the dundaret that I didn't know.. we'll be back.

22/06/2025: Well, located on the hill, cool, lots of dishes to choose from, excellent service, welcoming and helpful, just the prices a little high considering the type of "home" restaurant. But I recommend it! Oh, excellent food! Keep it up but if you can and want, increase the quantity in the portions.

07/08/2025: Nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms, good breakfast, though the staff aren't all that friendly. The air conditioning is loud and doesn't cool very well. Beautiful garden with a nice terrace and bar. Free water throughout the day. Parking with a charger. There's not much to do in Barge itself. A very nice pool with sunbeds and towels, but be aware that it costs 20 euros per person per day. For a family, this can be quite expensive.

05/08/2025: A beautiful hotel off the beaten path, but full of charm. The staff is 10/10... They couldn't be more friendly and helpful... The breakfast was very complete and the coffee excellent. Absolutely recommendable.

05/08/2025: Nei nostri frequenti viaggi in Piemonte é una tappa obbligatoria. Anche quanto é affollato si é sempre ben accolti e serviti. Assolutamente da provare la battuta di fassona al coltello e i tagliolini al ragu di salsiccia. Ottimi i vini proposti anche come degustazione. Prezzi più che onesti. Complimenti.

28/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante (che è anche wine bar e residence) che era già tardi ma siamo state fortunate e c’era un tavolo libero per mangiare. La sistemazione nella corte centrale del palazzo è stata sicuramente suggestiva fin dall’inizio e il servizio si è distinto per la professionalità e cortesia. Io sono intollerante al siero di latte e la mia amica è celiaca e il personale ha saputo venire incontro alle nostre esigenze garantendoci un pranzo ricco oltre che tranquillo. Consigliato.

06/07/2025: We were at the Manta Castle and on the way back we wanted a good ice cream... We relied on Google and found this very good ice cream shop with few flavors but really excellent quality and with really kind staff... We will definitely be back 😃

06/05/2025: Old hotel, modernized as best as possible here and there. Even though it is a family hotel, it does not have any ramp for access to strollers, a tiny lift. Rooms are small and not very functional and minimal in terms of services and comfort. Average food is poor although I repeat it a lot. In 3 days of stay the electricity went out in the hotel 7 times and on 2 evenings we were left without hot water. I wouldn't go back at all. To be avoided if you are looking for a comfortable hotel to live with as a family. Friendly staff but unprepared. The reception was unable to give us any information regarding the surrounding experiences nor did they have a map of the place to provide us. I don't recommend it, you will be disappointed

14/04/2025: Una empresa familiar que se enorgullece de cada paso de su visita con un espectacular viaje gastronómico que lo dejará boquiabierto. El servicio, la comida, el hermoso establecimiento es increíble. Cada miembro de la familia te trata como a la realeza. La comida servida al estilo familiar, es una experiencia que está fuera de este mundo! No dude en reservar con antelación, porque los lugareños acuden a este secreto bien guardado. Alexandru era nuestro anfitrión y su servicio estaba a la par con un restaurante de estrellas Michelin. Gracias.

12/02/2025: Cena di fine anno con i colleghi di lavoro. Ero già stato a pranzo in questo locale che, a definirlo Agriturismo può essere riduttivo, e ribadisco la soddisfazione di esserci ritornato. Accolti in una sala dedicata eravamo una quarantina di colleghi e siamo stati serviti in modo impeccabile con piatti della cucina classica del territorio. Vini di ottima qualità hanno completato la serata. Molto apprezzato l'ampio parcheggio riservato al locale: quella sera c'era una nebbia molto spessa e sarebbe stato difficile trovare posto altrove. Locale da consigliare.

07/08/2025: Small but cute place, shame about the terrible service and staff, who are, to say the least, very, very rude and rude. For a piece of bread not brought to my son, I managed to be told I wasn't welcome and could stay home. Dirty glasses. I'd say respect is the foundation of everything! Not recommended; it was supposed to be a pleasant evening with friends, but it turned out to be a ruined evening.

15/03/2025: Un posto davvero incantevole. E cibo di qualità molto alta. Filetto buonissimo così come l'antipasto ed il dolce. Torneremo sicuramente.

04/02/2025: E’ stata una vera scoperta durante la nostra visita a Limone Piemonte. Questo locale, più che un semplice agriturismo, è una splendida baita curata nei minimi dettagli, con un'atmosfera calda e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Ciò che colpisce immediatamente sono le ampie vetrate che offrono una vista spettacolare sulle montagne circostanti. Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene. Io ho particolarmente apprezzato il filetto con salsa agrifoglio, una vera delizia per il palato. La carne era tenera e saporita, e la salsa si sposava perfettamente con il piatto. Ma anche gli altri piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano deliziosi, con sapori autentici e genuini che esaltano i prodotti del territorio. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a rendere la nostra esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente l'Agriturismo Agrifoglio a chi cerca un luogo speciale dove mangiare bene, godere di un panorama mozzafiato e vivere un'esperienza autentica in montagna. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

17/07/2025: I gave it one star because the waitress told me to shut up after I spoke to my friend next to me (the waitress in question had already used a less than respectful tone on other occasions). Despite this, she didn't bring two drinks because they had spilled them earlier. We waited about 20 minutes before they brought them back. I honestly don't recommend it. There are other bars out there where they treat you much better in the circumstances.
