10/11/2025: The restaurant focuses on grilled meat, and the small dining room at the back is very atmospheric, despite the entrance being a bit deceptive. The prices are reasonable, and the meat is very good. My only complaint is the bathroom, which honestly leaves a lot to be desired and clashes with the rest of the place, leaving a bad impression.
01/11/2025: A charming and welcoming osteria in the center of Ceva. The entrance opens onto the kitchen, allowing you to see how the ingredients are prepared. Let's just say the entrance is less elegant than the dining room, but I don't think that's a problem. The ingredients are excellent, the dishes are well-finished, and the presentation is very pleasing. Recommended for couples or small groups of friends. The prices for the dishes are average, but the wines by the glass are a bit steep.

19/08/2025: There were six of us there. The service was excellent and helpful. It was relatively dark inside. We had burgers, and you shouldn't expect a traditional burger here. Flat bread with sesame seeds and a pre-made patty. Everything tasted okay, though.
12/08/2025: Delicious pizzas. Don't be fooled by the outside; just step inside, sit down, and be amazed by the wide variety of pizzas available. Enjoy!

08/07/2025: A very small but fine wine bar in Borgomale. We came here for dinner and had a mixed plate of typical Italian antipasti, as well as two regional pasta dishes each. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere in the old cellar vault was both rustic and modern. The wine selection is typically extensive in the region, but they also offer wines by the glass if it's just the two of you and you can't manage a whole glass.

The location alone—in a small village center, surrounded by vineyards, with a relaxed atmosphere—makes you want to linger. The ambiance is warm, informal, not overly pretentious, but maintained with attention to detail.  ⸻ Food & Drink What's Particularly Good • Tradition & Quality: The cuisine is deeply rooted in Piedmontese and Langhe traditions. Classics such as tajarin (homemade), ravioli al plin, vitello tonnato, and various meat dishes (e.g., Fassona) are present and are usually prepared with great care.  • Homemade Pasta: The tajarin, which is still made here in the traditional way: with lots of eggs, cut by hand, is particularly praised. For many guests, they are considered one of the highlights of the menu. • Regional selection: Locally sourced ingredients, seasonal produce, a good wine list with many local wines, especially wines from the Barbaresco area. 15/08/2025: Had lunch today, August 15th... an 11-course appetizer buffet, all you can eat... a grilled dish served at the table, and we ate half of what was served. Desserts were a buffet, so all you can eat, six courses... what can I say? Many compliments to the chef, Claudia, and Andrea for the delicious food and the service... no small feat these days. The air conditioning in the dining room was perfect... the price? Fair for a lunch like this... I've been there before, I was there today, and I'll gladly return. Thank you.

16/09/2025: Lunch with friends. First time in April, good impression (5-star review). Second time (and last...) terrible rating. Fixed menu, no prices listed (required by law...). Poorly executed dishes, exorbitant price (€55 per person!). Never again! Lost seven customers in one fell swoop.
24/05/2025: I recommend!!! We had a great time, large parking lot, inside we find a very simple retro decor, the food was excellent from the first to the last course, well cared for, perfect cooking very good the wine list highly recommended. Nice and kind owners make you feel at ease.

20/10/2025: I went there for lunch. The food and wine were really good, the table service was excellent, and the atmosphere was clean. The prices were reasonable, not excessive, and the portions were just right. To give you an idea, I had an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a half-dessert, plus three glasses of wine. I was absolutely stuffed. Thinking back, after an appetizer and a first course, I think it's already all right. If you arrive early, you can get a table with a view. Just to be safe, make a reservation. Nothing to complain about, congratulations!
19/10/2025: Excellent food but high prices, especially for truffles, ask first and be careful because the minimum is 5g per plate and the truffle at 8g per truffle is a bit expensive

08/11/2025: A historic restaurant with a vintage feel, dull and dimly lit except for the large window overlooking the valley below. The staff is busy but ready for any occasion. The food (considering the high quality of the local ingredients) is a bit too shabby and not always of good quality. The rice is overcooked, the grains chosen don't match the cooking method, and the Barolo is the true star of the area. A "basic" restaurant that falls short of diners' expectations. A complete fail.
08/11/2025: Excellent appetizers, including veal with tuna sauce and exceptional carpaccio. The first courses were good. Excellent service, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about the wines, of course! The only disappointment was the second course, where the braised beef was mediocre and the zucchini and potatoes, practically boiled, didn't hold up to the rest.

29/10/2025: To forget It's perhaps the worst dining experience of my life. The atmosphere is completely out of step with the historical context of the building and the area in which it's located. All the walls are white and lit by false frames that are more suited to a nightclub than a historic trattoria. Even the chairs (without cushions) are white, as are the tablecloths...everything gives the impression of a hospital rather than a restaurant...anyway, a matter of taste. But now comes the best part. I ordered a rump, expecting something tender and tasty, but instead I was served a piece of dried meat that would have taken a saw to cut. You can imagine how I felt putting that morsel in my mouth...I left everything else behind. I asked for the bill and the waitress told me she'd give it to me at reception...There, the chef arrived, all sulky, with my plate in his hand and all the meat sliced, declaring that it was cooked perfectly and that the dish couldn't have been any other way. It's a shame he didn't try it...but that's how things go....I paid and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.
