13/10/2025: We had lunch outside in front of the restaurant after waiting an hour on Sunday for the market... 4 of us at a rickety table for 2... by 2 pm there was almost nothing left of the displayed menu... a tiny slice of cold braised beef with a side of cold zucchini... three desserts (these were good), a medium-sized beer, a mini Coke, two small bottles of water, three coffees. The staff was very kind but improvised. I'll draw a veil over the final bill... what can I say... never again.

28/05/2025: Bar in Casale Monferrato in the main square. It offers excellent cocktails, a very good selection of wines, accompanied by the advice of the trained staff. Welcoming and informal atmosphere. It is good for a lunch break, a coffee and go, an aperitif with friends, in short everything that can please customers

29/05/2025: Abbiamo Pranzato in occasione della comunione di nostro figlio Matteo. La titolare è sempre stata gentile e premurosa nell'organizzazione del menù. Mangiato molto bene dall'antipasto al dolce. I vini che abbiamo scelto tutti ottimi confermati anche da un nostro amico enologo ! Siamo stato molto bene. Grazie per la bellissima giornata che ci avete donato.

02/05/2025: Sarà stata anche una giornata particolare, ma il pranzo a menù fisso è stato una grande delusione. Tutto insapore, piatto e senza gusto, dall’antipasto al dolce. Nessuna sensazione positiva e dí soddisfazione, oltretutto disturbata da un fastidioso rumore di fondo da parte di una tavolata di circa trenta ventenni che urlavano letteralmente. Spiace.

20/08/2025: My husband and I had lunch today with ravioli al tocco (very good) and braised beef in Nebbiolo (exceptional, very tender meat), tastefully decorated environment, the girl who served us at the table was polite, kind, very helpful and competent, I recommend it, excellent place

16/09/2025: We started out a little prejudiced, to be honest, but unfortunately, our impressions were not contradicted. As soon as we arrived, they offered us a mix of appetizers, each dish practically a full appetizer, and they brought out four dishes. Naturally, we paid full price. Then they offered us fresh agnolotti made by them that morning. Okay, let's have them. They had different consistencies on the same plate, but oh well. A liter and a half of water from Lidl was nearby. Generous portions and strange staff. It's a shame, however, that when we went to pay the bill at the register, in addition to the price being too high for what we ate, I discovered that in the fridge next to the register there was a large bag of frozen agnolotti. Now it all makes sense. I definitely won't go back, and I warn others against going there. I advise the owners to be more honest to avoid making a fool of themselves... Oh, I forgot, their dog lives in the kitchen.

12/08/2025: I went there for lunch today with 5 other people. An endless wait, almost an hour between sitting down, receiving water and bread, taking orders, and receiving the first courses. The ravioli are handmade, but they were "plastic" and half-empty. The ragù had almost no sauce, just a little minced meat, and the whole thing was a bit salty. The cheese was Grana Padano from a low-quality packaged bag. The veal with tuna sauce was good, but there were about 50 grams of meat per dish. The zucchini on the side were bland and tasted like mussels. The baked potatoes were good but obviously frozen. The bread was definitely good and handmade. We skipped the desserts and had coffee, but it was water, undrinkable. To add a bit of irony, there was a hair in a plate of ravioli, and since they were placed in the garden, a small feather fell from the roof above us onto the table. The place is very beautiful and quaint, the bathrooms are perfect, but there's no key to lock the door. It cost €15 each, very cheap, but I definitely won't be returning.

18/10/2025: I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The daily menu wasn't even spot on. Watery fried mushrooms... plus, the uncooked Farinata (farinata) off the menu... When paying, they don't accept debit cards and don't have change... plus, they're incapable of doing sums and can't count coins... they don't understand that coins have value... a total disaster. In the end, we lost money on the payment, just to finish and be able to catch the train. Incompetent...

21/04/2025: Lunedì di Pasqua, una buona cucina, tanti commensali e possibili disguidi da mettere in conto però l’aspetto fastidioso è stato la leggerezza con cui hanno cucinato per una persona vegana del nostro gruppo edella cui presenza erano stati informati con largo anticipo. In sostanza vuol semplicemente dire cucina a base vegetale, niente di più e nulla di complicato per uno chef esperto Avevo telefonato 10 giorni prima x prenotare e avvisare della richiesta particolare, 4 giorni prima ho richiamato x accertarmi e sono stata rassicurata in entrambi i casi che ci sarebbero stati piatti adeguati alla giornata e al locale. Siamo arrivati tranquilli ma i piatti annunciati sono stati solo gnocchi alla salsa di pomodoro, insalata o verdure grigliate. Abbiamo avuto altre esperienze in ristoranti di uguale livello con cucina tradizionale e, chiedendo, abbiamo sempre avuto un menù vegetale completo di tutte le portate, antipasto, primo e secondo con contorno di qualità gustosa e varia. Alle nostre obiezioni non abbiamo avuto grande accoglienza se non dire che, in questi casi, hanno sempre agito cosi. Non dubito ma questo non vuol dire che sia soddisfacente. Hanno poi recuperato una ratatuolle di verdure ma sinceramente non ha risolto granché la situazione. Avrei preferito che mi dicessero telefonicamente il brevissimo menù cosi avremmo potuto in tutta serenità decidere diversamente. Non era nostra intenzione mettere in difficoltà nessuno ma solo poter scegliere liberamente. A questo si è aggiunta una lentezza che non è stata uguale per altri tavoli che, arrivati contemporaneamente, sono stati serviti con notevole tempestività rispetto al nostro. Mi spiace per l’accaduto perché il posto è gradevole e la cucina buona.

14/04/2025: Ottima sorpresa, ci siamo recati dopo una gara di pattinaggio e siamo stati accolti alle ore 14.00 senza alcun problema. Cibo ottimo e prezzi buoni, super consigliato!

10/05/2025: Pizza buona . Servizio lento , cameriere alcune scortesi. Abbiamo preso due pizze e due caffè e una birra piccola e una media 40 Euro mi sembra un po’ troppo . Ambiente un po’ troppo caotico

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring it back due to unforeseen commitments, so I had to keep it, hoping it was good. That evening, I cut it open and discovered a layer of aluminum foil inside the cake, covering a heart-shaped Styrofoam tray: this is SHAMEFUL, UNACCEPTABLE, and dangerous!
