03/09/2025: Family dinner with pizza. Very welcoming and clean place. Fast and extremely friendly service. Good pizzas. Excellent value. Recommended.

31/08/2025: Delivery service. Excessively expensive for the food received. €15 for a mixed fried food weighing less than 200g. Fried food and a dessert delivered in two containers without even a bag.

01/08/2025: We were on our way to Tuscany when we stopped in this town to stay at a nearby hotel. While strolling through the village, we were struck by this restaurant. We were greeted very warmly and the owners explained the daily menu, which we immediately ordered. Everything was regional, homemade, and very tasty. We even chatted with an older couple who are also from Switzerland but live in Italy. This is how you imagine Italy: good food, friendly people, and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

16/09/2025: A fantastic, atmospheric place with excellent cuisine and service. It's located in a hotel converted from an old estate and decorated in a classic style. I managed to get in after a day of shopping without an appointment, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening.

31/08/2025: I had attended a New Year's Eve dinner hosted by the president of a large company where I worked many years ago. I was enchanted by the charm of the venue and promised myself I would return. That evening, there were so many of us; I think they had booked practically the entire restaurant for the occasion. This time, however, it was completely private, just my wife and I, and it was with great joy that I realized that time has passed, but the class remains.

02/06/2025: A very good surprise just a stone's throw from the Cittadella bridge, a few meters from the large free parking lot in Piazza Gobetti. As a cover charge they brought an excellent pizza base topped with salt, various spices and oil, so good that we had to ask for seconds several times. I had some sea bass ravioli with crab sauce, really excellent, highly recommended (if you can find them, since it's off the menu). The packages with cherry tomatoes and pistachio pesto are also good. We didn't really like the tuna carpaccio in walnut sauce: the fish itself was not very tasty, and the walnut sauce was almost non-existent. The staff was very friendly, with the chefs stopping to chat with us several times.

04/09/2025: Everything was good...the people were friendly, it was a lunch for two, and we spent a fair amount. I'll gladly go back as soon as I can, and I recommend it to everyone. I don't have any photos of the beautiful dishes, but others will surely post them.

15/06/2025: Simple and homely but very welcoming environment, we have already been here twice and both times we had a great time, the price is absolutely right for the quantity and quality of what is offered, there is no à la carte menu but a sort of fixed menu (simple but effective, with very generous portions and the possibility of asking for more), fast service and friendly staff, at the end of the dinner after paying we were offered a house liqueur, an experience to be repeated

07/09/2025: Excellent ice cream shop, you can also enjoy bubble tea or yogurt with cereal (both options I personally really enjoy). Prices are in line with the market; in short, a great place for a snack!

11/08/2025: Very good gelato, quality at a fair price. The owners are kind and helpful. The coffee flavor is excellent.

12/03/2025: A great place to spend a pleasant evening with friends. Friendly and engaging staff on the dance floor, perfect for dance enthusiasts, even beginners!

11/10/2025: Even worse. They also don't take into account that if you don't take the full meal... you don't pay the same amount.

19/08/2025: A place frequented mostly by local workers due to its daily fixed-price menu for €12. The dishes are simple, but the portions are more than generous and tasty. I've been there several times as a worker myself and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. A must-visit for lunch in Arquata Scrivia.

06/06/2025: I stopped here for lunch: the price is slightly above average, but still very little also because the food is of good quality. Fast and friendly service and generous portions. Special mention for the meatballs that were really delicious, they melted in your mouth! Even the bread, often not very good in other places, here is good and fresh. In short recommended 😁

08/09/2025: Pizza as pizza should be, without frills and frills (which only serve to justify the insane prices of some places). Good, well-cooked (in a wood-fired oven), and at the right price for what is an ultra-popular dish. The place is always impeccably clean, and then there's Mario, with his prickly kindness that embodies the essence of a mustachioed, experienced pizza chef. Well done everyone, I'm always sure to return.

10/08/2025: French family passing through Alexandria We stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance... More than adequate service, no fuss or frills, but very attentive and available to answer any questions. The pizzas are delicious, the carbonara pasta is exquisite, and the prices are a very pleasant surprise (€50 for 4 people, drinks and coffee included!!!!) A place to recommend to anyone passing through Alexandria

22/09/2025: Good food, cozy place, but terrible service. Starting your day with sulky people serving you coffee isn't pleasant. Customers, especially those who behave politely like my friends and I, should be treated kindly. I never write reviews, but this morning I was really disappointed.

20/09/2025: Wide selection of sweet and savory options for a delicious breakfast. The staff is unfriendly, unsympathetic, and even has a hard time saying hello. What a shame!

09/04/2025: Sabato sera, cena organizzata all'ultimo momento, dove andare per mangiare un buon piatto con un buon bicchiere di vino? Antico Cappelverde ovviamente, chiamo e anche se era un orario un po' al limite ci accolgono con serenità e professionalità. Partiamo col dire che hanno rinnovato la carta (lo fanno spesso seguendo la stagionalità di prodotti e tempo), assaggiamo la tartare Ca'di mat col tuorlo croccante e gocce di robiola di Roccaverano e la tradizione ( un mix di antipasti piemontesi). Primi i loro agnolotti di stufato col loro sugo fatto come la nonna comanda, e gnocchi alla carbonara monferrina, particolari e golosi. Alziamo il tiro con i secondi, la loro bistecca Milano senza osso, la mia esente contorni era 540gr, e il fiocco di filetto con salsa di gamba di pernice..... Spettacolari entrambi. Tavolata da 6, abbiamo fatto fatica, ma abbiamo portato a casa la vittoria con lo stupore genuino del titolare. Non abbiamo preso il dolce, non ci stava più nulla. Concludendo, conto più che giusto, con una qualità altissima e ricerca costante di nuovi piatti della tradizione piemontese ormai dimenticati. Lo stra consiglio a tutti di andarci, non rimarrete delusi, anzi......

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

25/09/2025: The food is nothing special, and nothing terrible, mind you. However, you can find better. The service, however, is excellent.

26/04/2025: My husband went to get the pizzas and we ate them at home. When I saw my trousers, I confess, I thought "my goodness, this whole edge will be as hard as a shoe sole"... but instead!!! It was melt-in-your-mouth soft, my goodness, what a dough show! Tastes good, has a wonderful texture, and I have to say that the quantity and quality of the filling ingredients are really excellent! You have hit the mark in my heart! The other 3 guests were also happy! See you next time for sure! 😃😍

06/05/2025: I can't say anything about the rooms, we only ate there. The whole thing seems a bit leftover and has a certain charm if you like that sort of thing. The “staff” is a bit older, I think over 70. Food was very good. There was no map, so we communicated that way. We had pizza and pasta, dessert and everything was very good. The rooms are the same as they were 40 years ago, but everything worked and paying by card wasn't a problem. If you like something familiar, this is the place for you, we liked it. We lived just a few meters away and would love to come back.

17/09/2025: I went to this bar before an exam in the center next door. I had a piece of plain focaccia that was soft and a bit stringy. The person who served me seemed pissed off, didn't say hello or smile at anyone.
