14/03/2025: I often use them, especially for birthday cakes which I consider very good and well decorated, and once also at a good price, I fear that, unfortunately, recently they have raised the prices a bit too much, too bad.

30/07/2025: Had dinner on a Saturday night with a reservation. Invited by friends with excellent facilities. A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT (except for the cleanliness). The staff were absolutely zero from the moment we arrived. The waiters were wandering around like crazy cells. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years, and this place completely lacks the basics of service. If you can't properly serve customers with the staff you have, you have two options: A) Increase the staff (although I think three waiters are sufficient for a place like this). B) RECOMMENDED: invest in staff training. I don't think they can even offer a smile when asked. Regarding the product... I had a cheese focaccia for dinner...the basic ingredients, in themselves, were good... The cooking affected the quality. The Maillard reaction was well overcome (a concentration of lava craters), and the pastry was soggy. We finished our dinner (coffee and gelato) at another restaurant in Ovada. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY. P.S. The thing that most surprised us, after more than an hour of waiting and seeing four tables served before ours, was the annoyed waitress's remark: "IT TAKES PATIENCE!" And no, dear... patience isn't needed here... you need to learn to do your job properly!!!! If I hadn't specifically asked another waiter if anyone could take an interest in our table, we would have become an integral part of the decor. An apology*, so to speak, didn't arrive when it came time to pay the bill. (*At the cashier... the same "MiSS Simpatia" who had rudely taken our order).

06/07/2025: I chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's fifteenth birthday, an event that should have been unforgettable for us. Unfortunately, it was an extremely negative experience. I was deeply disappointed by the behavior of the owners, who treated me, my family and my guests badly. I speak with evidence in hand: I have photos, messages and conversations that testify to everything that happened. We had also signed a contract in which certain services were guaranteed, but when I arrived nothing of what was promised was respected. Everything was organized in their own way, with the sole purpose of earning more, completely ignoring our requests. During the event, in such a delicate moment in which you only try to make the guests happy, I found myself forced to pay even more than what was already agreed. I spent a significant amount, and at least I would have expected a minimum of education. Instead, the staff, including the waiters, proved to be arrogant and rude. The only positive thing is that my daughter had fun, because she is a teenager and did not notice everything that was going on behind the scenes. Her father and I did everything we could to make her happy that day, as it should be. But we parents, behind the scenes, experienced continuous stress trying to save a day that was getting out of hand. I strongly advise people, if a similar situation were to happen, not to pay anything. Because what happened to me seemed like a real theft. They made me pay 500 euros for a chocolate fountain that was also of very poor quality, with a bitter chocolate not suitable for children - even though it was obvious that it was a party for kids. And let's not talk about the drinks: I was told that they were unlimited, instead I was told that there were only 50 drinks and that the bottles were "while stocks last". In my opinion, these people are only interested in making money, they do not treat customers with respect, and they take advantage of the fact that they have a nice location. They think: "They have no alternatives, they will have to come to us anyway". An unacceptable attitude. I am sorry to write this negative review, but I think it is right to warn anyone who is thinking of relying on this place for an important event: for us it was just a big disappointment.

08/06/2025: Abbiamo scelto questa location per festeggiare la comunione di nostro figlio. E' stato come vivere in un sogno..fin da subito Stefano ci ha accompagnati con consigli e fiducia, Valentina una dolcissima persona sempre col sorriso e una maitre di sala perfetta, il tutto con profusione di cibo e bevande deliziosi. Grazie a loro abbiamo vissuto momenti indimenticabili e preziosi con amici e parenti. Grazie di ❤️ 🫶

01/08/2025: We were on our way to Tuscany when we stopped in this town to stay at a nearby hotel. While strolling through the village, we were struck by this restaurant. We were greeted very warmly and the owners explained the daily menu, which we immediately ordered. Everything was regional, homemade, and very tasty. We even chatted with an older couple who are also from Switzerland but live in Italy. This is how you imagine Italy: good food, friendly people, and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

25/05/2025: Excellent Piedmontese cuisine, with Sardinian influences due to the host's wife. Try the "rooster salad" as starter, and "tagliolini al ragù di cortile" to go on

04/06/2025: The drinks may be fine but after waiting an eternity for the chips that were requested twice and never arrived I would say that I have nothing else to add, especially for the indifference we suffered towards us.

09/04/2025: Fantastic desserts, try the Linzer! But also the quality of the coffee. And simple and delicious dishes for the lunch break. Dynamic, courteous. Excellent

28/05/2025: Bar in Casale Monferrato in the main square. It offers excellent cocktails, a very good selection of wines, accompanied by the advice of the trained staff. Welcoming and informal atmosphere. It is good for a lunch break, a coffee and go, an aperitif with friends, in short everything that can please customers

15/02/2025: Overall a disappointing experience compared to expectations. The environment is simple and rather pleasant. Several rooms with 2-4 tables each, on two floors in a rather beautiful period noble building. The dishes are not very accurate in preparation and presentation, I would say not very successful: without major defects but without character. Fixed fish menu for all tables. Wine list too short. The service was naïve, with some of the staff friendly but clearly and explicitly inexperienced and some more professional, however gross naivety and long waits in a semi-deserted place. Finally, the cost: it was Valentine's Day, agreed, but for what we had the cost was truly disproportionate.

15/06/2025: Simple and homely but very welcoming environment, we have already been here twice and both times we had a great time, the price is absolutely right for the quantity and quality of what is offered, there is no à la carte menu but a sort of fixed menu (simple but effective, with very generous portions and the possibility of asking for more), fast service and friendly staff, at the end of the dinner after paying we were offered a house liqueur, an experience to be repeated

23/03/2025: Siamo tornati dopo un po' di tempo e siamo rimasti soddisfatti come sempre. Antipasti misti piemontesi e antipasti al tartufo, taglierini al tartufo, assaggio di gnocchi e ravioli. Secondo a scelta tra roastbeaf e uovo sempre al tartufo, agnello carciofi e funghi impanati. Volendo si può fare un misto di tutto. Dolce, vino, acqua e amaro. Quantità abbondanti. 40 euro a persona, più che onesti.

19/08/2025: The bar could potentially have a positive review, but unfortunately, the rude staff, to say the least, makes the experience absolutely awful. In response to the owner's reply: before writing nonsense, please verify the identity of the person who wrote the review... I wasn't in line; I was sitting at a table with my family yesterday morning at 7:00. Thank you.

12/07/2025: Agriturismo suggerito da conoscenti,tanta cortesia, menù fisso ma tutto davvero molto genuino e molto buono. Prezzo nella norma e vino buono. Anche se non siamo della zona faremo in modo di tornare,complimenti!

06/07/2025: Seconda volta che ci rechiamo a pranzo alla Bottazza. Se la prima volta era andata bene, oggi è andata ancora meglio. Chi si lamenta o è stato sfortunato o non capisce nulla di cibo. Menù fisso (come deve essere in ogni azienda agrituristica VERA), antipasti vari (menzione speciale per la tartarre) due primi (segnaliamo gli agnolotti assolutamente perfetti) e brasato cotto divinamente. La carne è d loro produzione, il vino anche. I camerieri sono molto cortesi e il titolare è un vero Signore di altri tempi . Prezzo congruo per la proposta. Locale pulitissimo, parcheggio privato.

29/05/2025: Abbiamo Pranzato in occasione della comunione di nostro figlio Matteo. La titolare è sempre stata gentile e premurosa nell'organizzazione del menù. Mangiato molto bene dall'antipasto al dolce. I vini che abbiamo scelto tutti ottimi confermati anche da un nostro amico enologo ! Siamo stato molto bene. Grazie per la bellissima giornata che ci avete donato.

02/05/2025: Sarà stata anche una giornata particolare, ma il pranzo a menù fisso è stato una grande delusione. Tutto insapore, piatto e senza gusto, dall’antipasto al dolce. Nessuna sensazione positiva e dí soddisfazione, oltretutto disturbata da un fastidioso rumore di fondo da parte di una tavolata di circa trenta ventenni che urlavano letteralmente. Spiace.

27/07/2025: The very last oasis of honesty in a city of self-proclaimed restaurateurs, over-the-top gourmet pizza chefs, and an increasingly demanding clientele that loves to be ripped off. Caminetto is the best; for the amazing lochescion, the salami-loving service, and the pineapple pizzas, go elsewhere. Thanks.
