13/06/2025: Atmosphere: Nice even if the outside is not the best. Staff: Super friendly and helpful. Service: A little slow to prepare but it was worth it. Price: in my opinion a little high. Food: Very good and well served. Personal opinion: I will start by saying that I have only been there once and at a time when I could not try something more complete, like sandwiches. The environment itself is well-kept and well-furnished inside, while the outside unfortunately suffers a little from the location, being close to the prison, which can affect the initial impression. The food is really good and the choice is very varied: sandwiches served with potatoes, focaccias made by them and various appetizers. All very inviting! In my opinion the prices are a little high for some proposals, but understandable considering the high quality of the ingredients. The staff was very kind, especially the young girl who welcomed us, served us and then also made us pay: very nice and helpful, we also chatted a lot! I highly recommend!!

04/04/2025: It's been a year now since Turin became part of the cities that crossed paths with my destiny, and I've been living here permanently for almost two months. A year ago, in November, just in these days, I arrived in the city for the first time for work reasons. In the evening, when I went out for dinner, I was directed to this small restaurant, not far from the hotel where I was staying. Already from the outside the place conveyed pleasant sensations, due to the contrast between the cold and darkness outside and the warmth of the lights of the chandeliers which, through the glass, showed the room and the people sitting inside. Since I entered that evening, Paolo's small restaurant has become for me, as it is for many, the usual place. Politeness, friendliness, informality, familiarity. There is no search for perfection, but for authenticity. The idea is to vary at least a good part of the menu almost daily to offer different dishes and fresh ingredients, according to the seasons, availability and even ideas, so that neither customers nor owners can get bored. Moving on to the gist: the dishes are tasty, well cooked and the portions are generous; the prices are more than fair. My friend, it's always a pleasure to come back. Henry

24/05/2025: Beautiful setting and carefully prepared and unique food. Flavors that you don't expect, all excellent. The pasta with crab is a spectacle.

20/05/2025: I tried this restaurant encouraged by some articles in the newspapers that recommended it. On the occasion of the boyfriend's birthday I booked and I must say that we were ecstatic about the place, the service but above all the taste of the dishes. We tried the three-stop tasting menu, highly recommended because especially for two people it allows you to try the different dishes offered. The not very large environment creates a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, to which an excellent taste for the furniture and a wise positioning of the light points contribute, the latter often underestimated in the premises. Absolutely to try if you want to taste new and satisfying flavors.

30/05/2025: Ci sono stato in occasione della prima comunione di mia nipote. Devo dire che è stata un'esperienza molto positiva. Servizio al tavolo ottimo, cibo altrettanto buono. Unica nota non degna di nota è stato il sorbetto al limone (speravo in quello preparato al momento e invece era quello solido commerciale). Tutto sommato sono stato bene.

12/04/2025: Sono stata in questo posto con degli amici e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata terrificante. Sono stata molestata davanti al bancone del bar da un uomo ubriaco di una certa età . Quando abbiamo chiamato i buttafuori per denunciare l'accaduto, la loro risposta è stata inaudita: "Devi tutelarti da sola" e "Non possiamo buttarlo fuori perché non abbiamo visto l'accaduto e le due versioni non combaciano". Sono rimasta sconvolta dalla mancanza di sensibilità e di professionalità dei buttafuori. Un posto che non tutela la sicurezza e la dignità delle sue clienti non merita di essere frequentato. Non posso che consigliare di evitare questo posto a tutti i costi.

05/06/2025: A place renowned for its meat: you can tell it's good quality. The rib eye steak arrived overcooked. It's true that when I ordered I forgot to specify the doneness, but it's also true that no one asked me anything. Very friendly staff, even if with some flaws, quick service. Prices relatively in line with what was received.

05/06/2025: Nice restaurant on Lake Maggiore. Lots of tables inside. The tables on the verandas are charming with a nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit dated but spacious. Food cooked very well, with lake fish dishes. Not abundant dishes. Small parking lot.

For me it is also important that they accept dogs and above all they gave me the opportunity to feed her obviously ordered from the kitchen also for her even organized with a bowl to put the food in. 03/06/2025: Excellent trattoria, and very “classic”. Food & wine menu are written by hand, always a good sign. Go with local dishes, ask the waiting staff for a wine pairing, and again, go local. You can’t miss. We explained broadly what we don’t like, and we were recommended a lovely bottle of Nebbiolo, nothing crazy @ €20 but just perfect for our spontaneous meal. Would definitely help to speak a little Italian just to be respectful, I can’t rate the ease of English translation as we ordered in Italian. Excellent, and honest.

13/05/2025: Wonderful pastry shop, full of excellent local products, made with skill and care. The traditional torcetti are excellent as are all the specialties offered. Very kind and courteous staff. Also worth a visit is the new museum on the history of the business that makes you understand once again where the quality comes from.

22/05/2025: I went with my son for 4 dinners even though the place is beyond my reach.... Everything is always impeccable! In my opinion, the experience and competence of the chefs are at the top!

17/05/2025: Nice place in a quiet location, inside a former convent. Excellent food, both meat and fish options, with the specialty of the finanziera which is not easy to find (very good). Well-stocked wine list, attentive and courteous service.
