The 3 stars are due to the excessively long wait for the dishes to arrive. There were 5 of us, and we all ordered the sliced meat with potatoes, nothing else. Although the order was extremely easy, given that the dishes were the same and all cooked to the same standard, the wait for our order to be delivered to the table was far too long.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The service is impeccable—for example, all the cutlery is replaced after each course, something that's no longer the norm—and the staff is attentive, helpful, and always smiling. The menu is extensive and will satisfy those seeking Piedmontese—and Moncalieri—traditional dishes, with a menu dedicated to the famous "Trippa di Moncalieri" (Moncalieri Tripe)—as well as those who appreciate modern interpretations without going overboard. The wine list meets expectations and is fully in line with the culinary offerings, although perhaps a little overpriced. The dishes are beautifully presented, tastefully prepared, and the portions, while not abundant, are completely satisfying. It's not a cheap place, but it's adequate for the quality of the offerings. The restaurant is meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. The urban setting doesn't favor it compared to similarly priced options, quite the opposite... while the easy parking in Piazza del Mercato, just a few meters away, is a definite plus, except during periods when the city organizes events at the nearby PalaExpo.

A very nice, welcoming, and modern restaurant. The atmosphere is intimate and the service is truly excellent. You can immediately sense the attention to detail. After ordering, they delighted us with a welcome entrée (preparing a small variation for me, a vegetarian, which was much appreciated). The menu: A unique and interesting offering. The only flaw: no vegetarian appetizer, but two first courses and a second course (a cream soup). Vegetarians are becoming more common these days, so it would be nice to have more thought given to this. Appetizer (adapted): Poached egg made vegetarian by removing the truffle-flavored fillet bites. It was good, but I was disappointed not to have a truffle-flavored alternative on the plate to compensate. Hazelnut tagliatelle with dark cocoa butter: very good pasta, but I expected a more intense flavor! My boyfriend, on the other hand, ordered a risotto, which he loved. The desserts were very good (tiramisu and lavender and blackberry panna cotta, truly light and unique). Beautifully presented and beautifully plated. At the end of the meal, they greeted us with three complimentary desserts, a detail I greatly appreciated. Prices: Fair for the quality. A €3 cover charge is well worth it.

Antica Osteria

28/03/2026: This place was an absolute highlight of our recent trip. This place is so beautiful, the food and wine were delicious and the service felt more like you were coming over to Roberto’s home for dinner- because you were. There isn’t a menu. Instead you let Roberto know what your dietary restrictions are and some amazing dishes come out of the kitchen. There was lamb smoking in the fireplace when we arrived, and he was able to accommodate a pescatarian. The place is lit only by candles. It feels like dining in a fairy tale. Highly, highly recommend.
15/02/2026: The best restaurant during our stay in Pragelato. Both for the refined and sophisticated cuisine and the welcoming, family atmosphere. Special praise to the chef, Jonathan, who demonstrates passion and dedication in his excellent dishes. Bravo!

Bicerin della Venaria

02/05/2026: A fried poached egg, served on a bed of green peas and with a corn salad: the egg was delicious, crispy on the outside, and the yolk was runny. Unfortunately, the rosemary described in the menu wasn't noticeable. The vitello tonnato – well-cooked veal. A tasty tuna sauce. The Fasana beef entrecote – medium rare. Delicious. Served with baked potatoes, which were also excellent. The breaded, fried guinea fowl breast was served on a bed of caramelized onions with fresh sweet and sour cabbage. The breast was dry, failing to bring out the guinea fowl flavor. The cabbage lacked creaminess. The thyme described in the menu was imperceptible. Overall, the food was good, but I expected something more, especially since it's not a budget restaurant and has a Michelin designation. Fast, efficient service. Well-chosen wine.
01/05/2026: Kindness, courtesy, and professionalism are three qualities that make Convitto di Veneria a beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming place. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'll be back 🤗
