The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. The lasagna was simply exceptional, truly tasty and well-prepared. The braised beef and tagliata also deserve special mention: incredibly tender meat and perfectly balanced flavors. An absolutely positive experience, we'll definitely be back!

Thanks to a friend's exceptional recommendation, we ended up at this welcoming, warm, and family-friendly location. Customer service is at the heart of their approach, and the various courses are delicacies in taste, smell, and sight, all beautifully presented and conveying emotions. 02/02/2026: The restaurant is surrounded by somewhat dilapidated buildings and trattoria-like signs that make you wonder if you're in the right place. Fortunately, once you're inside and savor their dishes, any doubts vanish, leaving room for the satisfaction of savoring high-quality cuisine. Of the many Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited in Piedmont, this is certainly one of the best. Each dish was refined and well-crafted, never lacking in nonsense or neglecting flavors and textures. The service was good but aseptic (just a quick briefing about the dish and off we went), a bit slow (we sat down at 1:00 PM, got up after 4:00 PM), and even the chef was glimpsed in the dining room for just 30 seconds to greet someone I believe was a regular. So perhaps I missed the guidance during the tasting experience, but that's a very subjective factor. The price was truly excellent. Ultimately, this is a restaurant you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: Excellence in hospitality and authentic flavors in the heart of Alba. We dined at Il Cortiletto d’Alba restaurant, and the experience was immediately top-notch. We were greeted with impeccable grace and efficiency by a young waitress who welcomed us with great professionalism. The real added value, however, was meeting a very kind lady who explained the menu to us. More than just a reading of the dishes, it was a passionate account of the ingredients: she provided us with detailed information on the provenance of the ingredients, all of which were of the highest quality. From the famous Entracque potatoes to the delicacy of the black truffle, to the organic vegetables, every element exuded freshness and local tradition. What truly struck us—and almost embarrassed by how rare it is these days—was the lady's attention and extreme kindness; a thoughtfulness that makes the guest feel truly special. In the kitchen, the ingredients are treated with respect: the dishes are flavorful and balanced, showcasing each individual ingredient without overpowering it. A valuable tip: the restaurant is very popular, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Although we didn't, we were lucky: thanks to their exceptional helpfulness and courtesy, they managed to find us two seats despite being sold out. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back. A big shout out to all the staff: really well done!

30/12/2025: It's a shame to give this rating, especially because we recognize the commitment and dedication of every member of the staff, including the chef (whom we wish a bright future). And we can't help but appreciate the location, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness. But when it comes to the food, our opinion changes. The dishes are overly salty, and above all, an attention to form that doesn't reflect the substance at all. Even the white truffle was lost in dishes that were supposed to showcase it. Based on our experience at other Michelin-starred restaurants, this one doesn't quite meet the same standards, except for the price.

21/12/2025: The food was excellent; nothing to complain about, but there was one incident, in my opinion, that was a bit crappy on the part of the staff. My two friends and I chose a tasting menu. The tasting menu page didn't mention adding cheese. Toward the end of the menu, a smiling waiter appeared and asked if we wanted to "try some cheese." I, thinking it was a courtesy, replied that I was full. I asked, "Can I try them, but just a little?" and was told that it was possible. My friend and I were brought two plates with four slices of cheese on top, accompanied by giardiniera and a slice of toasted bread (nothing special). The result? An extra €24 each on the bill (€48) for four slices of cheese. The first time I've been treated like this in a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real lapse in style.

20/03/2026: Very nice! I went here with my class on a school trip, and despite there being a lot of us, the service was super fast. The ingredients are excellent quality, and the value for money is also very good. The staff is friendly and helpful (they even offered us fries). Highly recommended!
