Naturally, the meal is a journey through blends of flavors and aromas, it is worth as an experience guided by those who wanted, sought and proposed it. All seasoned with attention to detail, cordiality and the desire to explain and communicate. It is worth trying. It will not be the restaurant for everyone, but for those who want something different, this is the right place, at least in the area.

23/03/2025: A special lunch! To celebrate my birthday, my wife and I chose this restaurant again, after the excellent experience last year, and once again we were pleasantly surprised.
They were able to please us with a vegetarian menu and a free choice menu from the chef, both with attention to the smallest details. The dishes were delicious and the service impeccable, with an attention that made us feel truly pampered.
The final surprise? A cake with a candle, a gesture that made the experience even more memorable.
Without a doubt, we will be back! We recommend everyone to try this restaurant!

20/04/2025: The food isn't bad, but the dishes are unnecessarily complicated and sometimes tasteless. Too many sauces, sauces, etc. and you no longer understand what you are eating. Wine list and service ok. Prices increased compared to a couple of years ago.

11/05/2025: La dimora storica all'interno della tenuta Fontanafredda ospita un ristorante onesto, che propone una cucina senza voli pindarici ma di sostanza.
Si vola alto, altissimo mentre si passa da un filetto di fassona battuta al coltello, all'agnllotto al sugo di arrosto e un piccolo assaggio di plin al tovagliolo fino ad arrivare alla faraona al marsala o alla fassona con salsa di amarena.
I dolci poi sono veramente la ciliegina sulla torta: il gelato mantecato al momento è indimenticabile!
Il servizio è impeccabile.
Il prezzo varia dai 130 per l'intera degustazione ai 110 per 3 portate a scelta più dessert: più che ragionevole per l'esperienza offerta.

26/05/2025: Thank you to Giovanni Grasso for his warm and friendly welcome.
We weren't supposed to eat at this restaurant, but chance brought us there, and as the chef said when he welcomed us in excellent French: "There is no such thing as coincidence, it's just that you had to come to our house!"
Not only was he right, but in the kitchen, the chef and the pastry chef, whom we had the pleasure of meeting, delighted our taste buds with the gourmet menu and the fine wine pairings.
So many beautiful compositions, some with an Italian touch, delighted us.
A tremendous pleasure from start to finish.
The wines were carefully selected by the sommelier, and they enhanced the dishes.
The entire staff was very pleasant and attentive, yet never overbearing; this wonderfully rounded off the experience, making it an unforgettable memory.
Take the time to discover this beautiful address, nestled in a discreet street but well worth the detour!

22/04/2025: Chocolate is a journey through time, every bite takes you back to when you were a boy, but finding such sublime quality assembled with the skill of a master pastry chef is a rarity. My travels through time with the Fagiolo Piero pastry shop and chocolate shop are quite frequent and are an alternation between chocolate and wonderful cakes. The owners know how to satisfy all tastes with extreme professionalism, even those of the most demanding palates. Highly recommended pastry shop.

01/05/2025: I celebrated my 18th birthday at the “Up and Down” club and I couldn't have wished for anything better. It was a simply crazy evening: an engaging atmosphere and an organization with attention to the smallest details thanks to Valentina, who took care of everything with precision and dedication.
From the setup to the impeccable service, to the food, every element was designed to make us experience a unique party. Valentina immediately understood the type of evening I wanted and was able to transform my ideas into reality, far exceeding expectations. You can sense that he loves what he does and that he puts heart and passion into every event that follows.
We had a lot of fun: dancing, laughing and unforgettable moments with my friends.
I absolutely recommend this place to all kids who are about to turn 18: it's the right place to celebrate such an important moment

The tasting dishes were fantastic with the variety of flavours. All accompanied with fabulous wines. I recommend tasting the cheeses - they are top notch! Thanks again. We will definitely be back ❤️

Everything was perfect, from the dishes to the service. We booked at the last minute and they still managed to satisfy any request, even that of ALWAYS providing an alternative for celiac guests, which is absolutely not a given. Well done!

10/05/2025: Exceptional in every way. We really enjoyed all the dishes on the tasting menu (6 courses + dessert). Tasty dishes, very well prepared, presented and explained with great attention by a very friendly and warm person who obviously loves his job. It is simply impossible for us to define what our favorite dish was, we loved everything so much.
And then an excellent wine list, for all budgets.
We highly recommend it, the address is really beautiful.

06/06/2025: We had a lovely evening at the restaurant for an hour last night of our European trip. We first had a cooking class, learning to make gnocchi. After that, our meal was served overlooking the lake with an amazing group of people. I can't recommend Piccolo Lago enough. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the ambiance made it and out of this world experience.
06/06/2025: The setting is nice, but the food disappointed me. I found all the dishes extremely salty, including the bread and focaccia.
The welcome appetizer, made with soft egg and black truffle, was almost tasteless.
Too much, too much salt everywhere.
Less salt and more flavor in the ingredients would make the difference.

13/05/2025: I usually never write reviews, but this place has the best sandwiches I have ever eaten, and for really cheap too. If you are a tourist I recommend coming here at least once!
