You could sense the quality of the products and the attention to detail in the dishes...it was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.

16/01/2026: First and certainly last time at this place. It was crowded, so it looked promising. Nothing to complain about with the espresso and croissant, but the staff... God forbid. I've been in Bari for days and I've been raving about the kindness of the people. Until I stumbled upon this place. First, the girl who comes to take my order places a tray full of dirty cups on my table. But that's the least of it. I was sitting at the table in the corner next to the door. At a certain point, they throw it open and block it. I protest that at least they could have said something to me, instead of completely ignoring my presence. Something like, "Ma'am, let's open for a few minutes to get some fresh air. If you want, you can move since a few other tables are free." I get piqued, rude, and repeated responses. Unacceptable. I don't want to generalize, but since everyone heard and no one attempted to apologize, at least in some way, silent consent is in order. The woman pretends to call me a manager who obviously isn't there. I leave as quickly as possible.

25/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, but we couldn't have ended up in a better place. Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: A charming place, surrounded by nature and perfect for horse lovers, with surrounding stables, paintings, and sculptures. We celebrated my birthday and were completely satisfied with the location, the staff, and of course the food! The appetizer with excellent cured meats and the risotto were amazing! We'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: I had a fantastic mixed paella, and I saw that other very inviting dishes were going around, such as fried gnocco with cured meats, mixed fried fish and a notable variety of dishes between first and second courses, etc. Added value is the price of the courses: affordable for everyone 😁

28/12/2025: Excellent place with a wide selection of beers. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, enough to satisfy even a big eater. But the best thing about this place is the owners' care, passion, and knowledge of the ingredients and the world of beer.

08/03/2026: After a nice, healthy hike, as planned for our reunion with former military colleagues, the Rifugio Campiglio was the perfect destination. The place is simply extraordinary: a breathtaking view spanning the lake and mountains, but the real added value is the hospitality. We were welcomed by Devis and Diego, chef and new managers: two brothers who convey all their dedication to the industry through impeccable work with over 35 years of experience. On the cuisine, only applause: • First courses: Authentic, homemade flavors. We ranged from ricotta gnocchi to polenta gnocchi, both exquisite. • Second courses: A pork cheek in Barbera that was mind-blowing. So tender, you could literally cut it with a fork (never seen anything like it!) and an incredible flavor. A second helping was a must and well deserved. • Bread and desserts strictly homemade, just like in the old days. Thanks to Devis and Diego for making our get-together special. They definitely deserve more than one visit. We'll definitely be back with our families.

07/03/2026: After the trails around Dumenza, we emerge at the Rifugio Campiglio, and all that's left to do is gaze: a terrace overlooking the lake, clear mountains on the horizon, one of those views that make fatigue disappear. Inside, it's a true refuge—red paintings, a stube, a fireplace—but the difference lies with Diego and Devis, brothers and chefs with extensive experience and passion behind the stoves of kitchens around the world. You can taste it: they've brought Italy around and now they're bringing it back here, without pretense. The flavor is distinctly homey, as if they know your way of eating: polenta gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms, enveloping yet clean, pork cheek cooked in Barbera wine and that sauce that tastes of patience with polenta taragna, and then ricotta, mascarpone, and blueberry cake—a delight, served next to the window overlooking the lake… Adequate portions, friendly service, simple details (checkered tablecloths, wood, light). Not just a stopover: there are also rooms to sleep in, simple and welcoming, perfect for setting off at dawn with the lake as a backdrop. Come for the breathtaking view and stay for Diego and Devis' cuisine: Italian roots, globetrotting technique, and a flavor reminiscent of home. If you happen to be in the area, make a reservation: the lake is worth a stop, and they deserve a second helping.

31/01/2026: The pizza wasn't bad, though a little greasy, but that's a matter of personal preference. It's a perfect place for a quick snack.

01/10/2025: Pizza Diavolo with onions on top that aren't brown. What's going on here? From the freezer?? The sewer overflowed at the main entrance, but the side entrance still wouldn't open, and you had to walk through the sewage. Meal!

10/03/2026: Stopped here for coffee and had something to eat but no idea what it was but best way to describe it was it’s like a donut (not sweet at all) with ham and cheese, it was actually nice and coffee was good! Think I paid €2 for both which is amazing!

09/03/2026: Had a young lady who had the best English and most beautiful personality help me with all my questions. She was very patient with me looking at all of the wonderful food and pastries. She didn't rush me and was so I viting. Wish I got her name but you can't miss her beautiful smile when you enter. The pastries and service was amazing. Don't be fooled by the small seating area. It is a must stop!!

02/12/2025: Given that we went on a Friday night so there was karaoke and therefore a bit noisy, but we were divided so bearable, nice place, tidy and organized because despite it being full we were served quite early, excellent pizza and "generous" and good dishes, we only ate first courses and they were excellent served in a pan, good balance Price Quality, I recommend for an evening with friends.. being in the village the parking spaces are limited.
