Ristorante Pizzeria Desiree In Somma lombardo

Chance discovery, recommended by three people from the town whom I asked for a place without too many pretensions to eat a pizza 🍕 and continue on my way. The three of them agreed that he should go to Desirée. The place is divided into two, where the pizza is made and the restaurant, tables and a very cozy atmosphere, with posters of old newspaper covers and a warm interior with bottles of wine and other more vintage decoration, without a reservation they gave me a table and in I was immediately attended to. I let myself be recommended by the waiter and tried the caprese pizza, with a ball of delicious buffalo mozzarella, their cherry tomatoes and basil, a local beer and that's it. Being staying in the Hotel that is at the end of the town (Dolce Milano Malpensa) it seems that this restaurant has an agreement, so to my pleasant surprise, they offered to take me to the hotel, which is a couple of km from there, being doubly grateful, one for the food and another for the great attention. Without a doubt if you go to Somma Lombardo keep this review in mind. Thank you very much 🫂.

Today, returning from a holiday in Courmayeur, having to catch a flight from Malpensa tomorrow morning at 10, we decided to sleep in the Agriturismo Scotti, an excellent accommodation facility whose owner recommended the Desiree Ristorante Pizzeria in Sommo Lombardo. Amazed by the rich menu, we ordered Paccheri with seafood. But perhaps it would be better to call them Seafood with Paccheri, due to the large quantity of seafood. Excellent! Followed by an equally excellent fried squid and prawns (already shelled). But the real gem was the dessert. One of us ordered a delicious tiramisu, but the amazement was indescribable when I tasted the Crema Catalana. I would like to point out that when I find it on the menu I can't help but order it... and I can assure you that the one prepared by the Desirée Ristorante is absolutely the best!!! Not to mention the kindness/professionalism of the waiters and the friendliness and friendliness of the owner (with the broken arm and still smiling). If I ever return to Sommo Lombardo, I won't be able to help but stop at the Desirée Ristorante. Well done!

There are so many types of pizza. Exactly the move expected from Italy! 😄 I came upon the recommendation of the reception at the hotel where I stayed and I'm glad I did. Pizza was very delicious. The girl working was also very helpful. He explained us one by one without any hesitation and we found the most suitable pizza. We are used to filling pizza with whatever we want, Italian pizza is simple but delicious with all the ingredients. It becomes difficult to choose between this and that, one wants to try them all 😅 for this reason, I was going to make a mistake and buy slices of pizza and try them, but thank the girl warned, if you buy slices of pizza, it will not be a thin pizza, it will be thick and square. Don't think like slice pizza places in Turkey, that is, they do not serve slices of round pizza. I ordered the wine medium, I barely finished it and it's coming a long way. The wine was also quite delicious. The pizza portion is enough and satisfying for one person. Mushrooms are incredibly delicious. If I come here again, I will definitely stop by again.

Conosco questa pizzeria da diverso tempo e posso dire che mi sono sempre trovata bene. Ragazzi molto cordiali e disponibili buona qualità del cibo in generale. Dolci buoni ma un po pesanti..quello vhe non mi piace più purtroppo è che nel locale sono stati messi troppi tavoli e quando pieno diventa veramente impossibile parlare..inoltre il tavolo vicino al bagno non è proprio il massimo..e noi eravamo lì.. non lo consiglio sui fine settimana
