15/08/2025: I'm forced to give it a ⭐️ because less is the best. We stopped by this restaurant by chance, they sat us outside, and after more than a half-hour wait, we went inside to at least ask for water at the table. After another half-hour, we asked them to come and take our order. Finally, after an hour and a half of waiting, we had lunch: I had gnocchi with nettles and gorgonzola, and my husband had octopus with potatoes. Both dishes were really poorly executed. After half an hour, I had to go back inside to ask for something for dessert. Given the 36-degree heat, we opted for two lemon sorbets. When we arrived, after yet another half-hour wait, I couldn't drink it: it was warm liquid cream... disgusting! When it came time to pay the bill, I mentioned this to the owner (I think), who blissfully didn't care. He told me the total bill, but we didn't know the details since the menu had been listed verbally. We were clueless: we thought we'd eat well at a trattoria, but it wasn't at all! Highly recommended!

01/09/2025: Honestly, I didn't like it. The written menu is inviting, but what you get at the table is something else entirely. Penne amatriciana/wild boar is nothing more than pasta with tomato sauce and slices of (I don't know) wild boar salami. Purple gnocchi are tasteless. "Local" cold cuts: salami Milano and Bologna (I don't know). Nice waiter. Anyway, I WON'T be back.

26/08/2025: I liked this new management. We were lucky enough to go there on August 16th, so after the August 15th hustle and bustle had passed. The owners were courteous and helpful, the atmosphere was pleasant as usual, and the food was good, with a good variety of interesting dishes. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

02/08/2025: The food was very authentic, very friendly, and simple. The owner even spoke German. The house red wine was delicious. Absolutely fair prices. It's unassuming from the outside, with a small menu, which speaks volumes about a good restaurant.

12/09/2025: One of the top three best airport hotels I've stayed in so far. It's always a pleasure to return to this magnificent hotel, directly connected to Milan Malpensa Airport. All the rooms in this hotel are spacious, bright, and have a very modern and original style. The rooms are very spacious, clean, quiet, and equipped with every comfort. The cuisine is excellent. The bar is very nice and popular, with an excellent selection of cocktails and draft beers. The "Il Canneto" restaurant offers a remarkable selection of traditional and seasonal dishes that rivals more "local" restaurants; it's no coincidence that it's always very popular. The Fassona beef tartare was delicious, and the ossobuco accompanied by saffron risotto melted in my mouth; I confess, I struggled to finish it. The breakfast buffet is abundant and varied, with many sweet and savory options. The gym isn't huge, but the machines are excellent and sufficient for basic cardio and weight training. The spa with its indoor pool is also beautiful and very impressive. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

15/07/2025: The location is definitely the strongest point of this hotel - it’s directly connected to Malpensa Airport, just a few minutes’ walk from the terminals, which is incredibly convenient for early flights or late arrivals. The room I stayed in felt refreshed and clean, with modern touches that made it comfortable for a short stay. The swimming pool area also looked pleasant and, to my surprise, wasn’t crowded at all - a rare bonus in airport hotels. Breakfast was another highlight: very well stocked, with a wide variety of fresh items. Despite that, it felt a bit industrial in style and presentation. However, the breakfast staff were cool, positive, and created a welcoming atmosphere. On the downside, the common areas of the hotel are showing their age - outdated decor and lack of proper maintenance give an impression of a once-grand space now out of touch, especially disappointing considering this is in the fashion capital, Milan. Overall, while the convenience and select features were appreciated, the dated ambiance in shared spaces and the industrial feel of some services.

11/08/2025: Last night I ordered takeout pizzas and was really satisfied! As soon as I arrived, the guy at the counter was super kind and friendly: he even offered me a beer while I waited, a simple but much appreciated gesture. The pizzas were all excellent: well-cooked dough, abundant, and high-quality ingredients. The fish is a must-try. Well done!

28/09/2025: Very nicely located. Shady. Overwhelmed at lunchtime. The male waitresses were very courteous, but the two female staff were unfortunately disgruntled. Lots of pasta and very few vongole. Too expensive for that.

14/09/2025: Very beautiful location, Superior quality pizzas. The service, however, was modest, verging on poor, which was in stark contrast to the type of place: it's pointless to have flowers, a lit pool, a lake view, and other thoughtful details if you're treated worse than at the village festival... From the moment I called to make a reservation, a young man answered, "Tell me," "Bye-bye?" Once we arrived, he pointed to a table from a distance, pointing, not a word. During dinner, two young "waiters" inappropriately interrupted our table, "Is your car double-parked?!" As if we were at a market. Only halfway through the evening did a curly-haired girl pass by and finally, in a kind tone, pay attention to what was next...

15/08/2025: Good pizzeria in the city center, located in one of the very few decent areas of Varese (outside the city center there is a scary degradation), the pizza is good but also the management is good.
