26/05/2024: An experience to live. Pub near Saronno station, beers and cider on tap, possibility of using five-a-side football and darts. The pub is frequented by the most varied clientele, and always offers interesting opportunities for anthropological studies while sipping a media. Rich, shabby furnishings, with poor finishes, passing cables, clocks that have been stopped for months and not always exceptional cleanliness; a unique environment that makes it an inimitable place, a safe haven for those looking for an easy-going venue in the heart of the city. Once the fiefdom of Carola, the most charismatic bartender I've ever met, she knew how to put anyone in their place. He hasn't worked there for a few months, and this has been a huge loss for all of us. Carola, we will not forget you. The only flaw: too loud music and an inconsistent genre, some evenings rock, others the opposite, depending on who is behind the counter.

15/08/2024: Delicious food at a very reasonable price. The daily suggestions are recommended. It was very busy, but service went quite smoothly. 1 minus anyway. The coffee was not quite warm when it was brought to the table after waiting on the counter for a while.

11/06/2024: I have been a guest of this place on several occasions over the last month and unfortunately, every time, I have been consistently disappointed. If on the one hand the staff is welcoming and helpful, on the other I found dirt, dirty glasses, services that hygienically speaking leave something to be desired, poorly maintained and smelly environments (such as the veranda which smelled of cat pee) and, as regards the cuisine: some dishes needed to be reviewed (in particular the cooking of the risottos and very often the pasta, which was excessively too much). Agriturismo is "synonymous" with nature, authenticity... not with animal or non-animal hair, found on several occasions, in courses, sessions, etc. I honestly wouldn't go back unless a radical change happens.

10/05/2024: Family-run place with popular prices and simple, hearty cuisine. Alas, the quality of the raw material had a terrible impact on this evaluation. The pasta, although well cooked and seasoned, was inconsistent and left a rubbery sensation under the teeth. The oven-baked pork ribs, well cooked, really had a "bad taste", an indelible sign of poor preservation and/or the very low quality of the chosen supplier... I would like to be able to give a higher rating but we are not good enough.

18/08/2024: Nous sommes allés manger dans ce magnifique endroit à l’occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage. Les plats proposés étaient succulents et le personnel très sympathique. Petit bémol pour la serveuse, qui a mon avis avait un grade supérieur, se prénommant Michaela. Chère Mme si vous n’aimez pas les animaux il vous suffit des les interdire dans votre établissement ! Il n’est pas nécessaire d’être désagréable et d’aboyer sur les clients. Certes notre chien est imposant il aurait suffit gentiment de nous demander de le déplacer ! Encore une petite chose n’oubliez de sourire vous seriez un peu plus jolie ! Bien à vous.

17/08/2024: the food is terrible, poorly dosed, they don't respect the requests and are slow, they communicated that there was no vinegar in the starters and instead it was present in them, the menu is very limited and the prices are sky high for the quality received, the services toilets have no distinction between males and females and are not very hygienic, seasoned dishes covered in salt, not recommended.

25/08/2024: Basically, this is a beautifully located restaurant with fine cuisine and sometimes very friendly and attentive staff. However, it may be of interest to families to know that children are not welcome here! We ate there with two children and unfortunately quickly had the feeling that we were second-class guests. And this despite the fact that our children behaved in an absolutely exemplary manner and certainly no one felt disturbed by them. Only a childless, well-heeled clientele is welcome here. It would certainly be beneficial for everyone involved if this were clearly communicated in advance.

21/08/2024: The ambience was very, very nice, the food, well. Portions too small, meat with a lot of fat and pasta more than aldene. Oh and the bruscetta bread was stone hard. Not recommended for eating.

24/06/2024: Unique and very particular place; the guys who run it are nice, friendly and engaging; the sandwiches and the big cutlet (pork) are really good as is the beer... it can be improved with the side dishes!

04/08/2024: I'm going to seem demanding by only giving 4 stars. But at this price I have expectations of a gourmet. The poor waiter was all alone (at the beginning of August the terrace was almost full and he was on PLS). The cook who comes out of the kitchen to cash us... The setting is enchanting. The menu is nice but not transcendent! The risotto is good but not amazing. Dessert, a scoop of sorbet... Honestly, at €55, I expect at least a little extra tile or a biscuit to add texture. Couldn't do better then.

11/07/2024: We arrived at noon intending to eat something with the family and then visit the park. The friendly man at the entrance of the park directed us to the restaurant, which was open. We were then however told that the restaurant was fully booked, even though nearly all the tables were free. I’ve visited the best restaurants across Europe, and it is not because we were wearing (decent) holiday attire that we should be refused entrance with such feeble excuse. Shameful
