The view is worth it. It's a shame to find out at the counter that I'd ordered a €15 gin and tonic (without an aperitif, which I paid for separately) because I'd listened to the waiter's recommendation about the type of gin (and hadn't asked for anything fancy). When they give you a recommendation, you don't ask where you can see the prices, which perhaps were on the electronic menu (I didn't check afterwards, but when I opened the menu, I didn't see them). It's a shame, also because: the €15 cocktail wasn't worth it, I spent as much on an aperitif as I did on dinner, and I left feeling hungry... I used to like this place, and now I like it much less.

A fantastic experience at Villa Cocca. The venue is elegant and refined, and boasts a wonderful view of Lake Varese, made even more captivating by the beautiful pool area with its spectacular evening lighting. The food is excellent: they offer gourmet dishes prepared with clearly high-quality ingredients. It's not a cheap venue, but the price is absolutely reasonable and justified by the quality of the offerings. The service also deserves a special mention: truly efficient, courteous, and fast. Highly recommended for a special evening!

Great place for aperitifs (they should bring the platter when you drink, not after ten minutes), lunch, and dinner.
Charging a €3 cover charge per person seems excessive, as does coffee at €2, not to mention water at €3. I've already noticed that pizzas are a few euros more (even too much)... so 🤔🤔.
Fish dinner, everything was really good, and the portions were generous.

Truly beautiful location, with a pool and lake view. Good food. It's a shame there's no air conditioning inside (we used the sauna during those hot days), and if you tried to go outside for some fresh air, the mosquitoes were ready to bite.

We happened to be in Gavirate and, while strolling along the lake, we found this place. It's cute, clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We ordered two pizzas, which were well-cooked, with fresh ingredients and delicious.
The location is stunning, overlooking the lake and offering a stunning view. Next time we're in Gavirate, we'll stop for an aperitivo, as recommended by Fabio, one of the wait staff.

Stunning restaurant, right on the lake, with a wonderful view. Delicious dishes with a touch of Puglian style! Kind and friendly staff, everything was wonderfully good. Long live Southern Italy, which exudes the flavors and aromas of our beautiful Italy!
