02/03/2026: The location, we know, is beautiful, we're in the heart of Varese. The dishes are very good (except for the desserts), which lowers the rating. The kitchen closes at 10 pm, so one of our guests is left without a second course (we could have been warned). In any case, I find it embarrassing on a Saturday night. The waiters are very friendly, except for the manager, who never makes his customers feel comfortable. (But that's well known.) It has all the credentials to be among the city's top five, but it needs work. In any case, it's definitely worth a visit.

01/03/2026: It's a perfect choice for a romantic dinner in the center of Varese: the atmosphere is elegant and refined, with the option of dining in the internal courtyard/garden when the weather permits. The experience focuses on quality over quantity; the menu isn't particularly long, but the dishes are beautifully presented, the quality is undeniably superior, and the staff is very discreet and elegant. There's also a touch of originality, with dishes often revisited with unique and extremely fresh ingredients. The location is very central, and the restaurant has multiple rooms on multiple levels, including an outdoor area within a private courtyard. The place is very quiet, the tables are well spaced, and the service is quick and attentive. Recommended.

28/03/2026: The gardens and the villa are a wonderful place. There's also a wonderful restaurant serving delicious food with a full respect for local produce. It's luxurious but not overly pompous, with a very friendly atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for this type of restaurant. There's a wide selection of wines, which are matched by the wine list. The villa's collection is very interesting. The art intertwines with the villa's rich interior, where you can see everyday rooms full of the splendor and charm of bygone years. You can spend a pleasant day enjoying the wonderful views in the charming garden.

21/10/2025: Nice place, cozy inside and spacious outside, good pizzas and hamburgers and excellent chips (French fries). Unfortunately nowadays Italian pop music can be very annoying, and that's what is used as background, thus one star less than top. Recommended anyways.

21/03/2026: I don't understand how it can be one of the most highly regarded pastry shops in Gallarate. Mediocre-quality brioche, cappuccino that tasted like a latte macchiato, sullen staff who even struggle to say hello... Lots of conviction. Little substance. Never again.

15/03/2026: Already at breakfast, you can find both sweet and savory options. The products are always fresh and there's a wide selection. The staff is quick, so there's no waiting. The place is always tidy. Parking is nearby. Recommended.

We needed a restaurant that wasn't just a place to eat, but a family-friendly, warm, and welcoming atmosphere where you could feel pampered by Sabrina, Simo, and the entire staff. With a new look, it offers a modern take on traditional yet innovative cuisine. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: There was a queue right outside the shop and given the number of people, we were expecting a spectacular ice cream, but in reality the ice cream was average, the dark chocolate was good.

Courteous, friendly, and attentive service. The atmosphere is clean, pleasant, and welcoming, though lacking a bit of personality. Prices are average; a first course, second course, and side dish cost around €50.

26/02/2026: We stopped in after a very long day and were welcomed even though we hadn't booked. Welcoming, attentive service, minimal wait, pizza prepared in front of you. A cozy atmosphere inside; a large covered dining area outside.

21/02/2026: Terrible experience. The owner treated us badly. This person shouldn't be working with the public. We arrived with a child and backpacks; from the moment we walked in, they didn't even say "good morning" but immediately started scolding us, saying backpacks weren't allowed. Their prices are way higher than what they advertise. In short, I hope they close soon. They didn't earn my money; they took it from me. Awful.
