07/10/2025: I had lunch with my family and we opted for the fish tasting menu. We received many mixed dishes of delicious, well-cooked peaches. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

06/10/2025: Nice restaurant, but the service leaves much to be desired, not attentive. Each fork and glass is different. The quality of the ingredients isn't exceptional, but the menu itself states "thawed product" on some cooked dishes. The main problem is that the fish must be cleaned! Seeing the intestines in the shrimp and scampi puts you off. The only fair thing is the prices based on what they offer. P.S. Check your receipt!!

19/10/2025: Excellent takeaway food, fantastic arancini, I recommend the puccia con porchetta!...but everything was excellent...and very friendly.

28/06/2025: Exceptional pizza, very light and digestible dough, and the only pizza that doesn't make me drink at night, the quality of the raw materials is excellent, pizza like homemade, passion and love always pay off, I recommend it

21/10/2025: Nice place, cozy inside and spacious outside, good pizzas and hamburgers and excellent chips (French fries). Unfortunately nowadays Italian pop music can be very annoying, and that's what is used as background, thus one star less than top. Recommended anyways.

14/10/2025: A very bad experience at this restaurant. My partner and I left upset. The man who served us and a table of four men next to us were constantly laughing at us because we're Spanish, making comments as if we didn't understand and as if we weren't there. Unprofessional and very disrespectful. We just wanted to go to dinner, and they made our dinner uncomfortable. As for dinner, it leaves a lot to be desired. The menu includes spaghetti carbonara with guanciale, and I got spaghetti carbonara with cooked ham. My partner ordered a pizza fritta, and the flavor... we half ate it because we were hungry. Honestly, we wanted to have dinner at Na Favola as usual, but it was closed last night, so we ate dinner here instead. Needless to say, we won't be back.

05/10/2025: Don't order unless you want the worst pizzas in the area. I ordered two takeout pizzas, one with sausage and broccoli rabe and one with meatballs in tomato sauce. I can only say I will never order again. Ingredients thrown randomly on the pizza, cheeses only on one half, all clumps together, not to mention the taste... soggy pizzas that almost seem raw... the meatballs... soft balls with a bit of tasteless sauce... terrible!!! On top of that, the pizzas arrived after 45 minutes (the wait time was less than 30 minutes).

22/09/2025: We ate at Smeraldo again last night; we particularly recommend the risotto and filet di manzo. The quality of the food, the portion sizes, the service, and the wine selection are all excellent. In our experience, Smeraldo is one of the best restaurants in the Luino area.

12/09/2025: We've visited this restaurant several times. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined, and it's a very expensive restaurant. We wouldn't recommend it anymore.

28/09/2025: This trattoria restaurant adopts my favorite service and menu format. Upon entry, you're greeted with a smile and courtesy, and escorted to your table, where we find two beautiful platters of lard, pancetta, salami, and coppa. On the plates, a mix of excellent and delicate pickled vegetables, a basket of bread, and a plate of focaccia cut into squares. We ask for the house red wine; unfortunately, it's cold, but it's still good. For the first course, the chef and manager, Vittorio (I imagine), offers three options directly at the table: pappardelle with hare sauce, tagliatelle with mushrooms, and crepes with zucchini flowers. We choose the first two... What can I say, excellent. For the second courses, the same procedure with an additional option: polenta and venison, polenta and mushrooms, polenta and rabbit, or lamb chops with roast potatoes and sautéed spinach... How could we not try all four (since there are four of us at the table). The roast rabbit was exquisite; although roasted, it can be a bit stringy, but it's actually soft and slightly moist. Delicious venison and mushrooms, and perfectly cooked ribs... "a butter." For dessert, you could choose from tart, bread cake, Bavarian cream with persimmon cream, pears in brachetto... The only glutton at the table opted for the Bavarian cream. The location is welcoming, warm, pleasantly and delicately rustic. Impeccable service, it's a place worth saving for your address book.

23/09/2025: Really nothing to complain about. Welcoming and clean environment. Kind and helpful people. Home cooking, adequate portions and excellent price. We will definitely be back.

14/10/2025: Tuesday evening, I ordered four pizzas for home delivery and they were delivered almost an hour late... The delivery time had actually been set by the pizzeria itself (between 8 and 8:30 PM). The pizzas arrived at 9:10 PM.

02/10/2025: Too bad they are closed on Saturdays.

23/06/2025: The vegetable pasta had raw zucchini and eggplant which tast horrible, The Margherita on was good

18/05/2025: A little hidden at the back of the parking lots, the quality of the pizzas is good, crispy, wood oven, I recommend it.

04/11/2025: It's fine to go just once...but then after that it's not because the food is very heavy in itself, for the price you pay the quality of the food is not the best... this is my opinion
