11/05/2025: A beautiful place, you can breathe a romantic air as soon as you enter. The various rooms that compose it where the various aperitifs and post-lunch drinks are served take you on a culinary journey without ever getting bored looking around.

We celebrated our wedding there yesterday and I honestly would like to go back every day to celebrate something 😄 we highly recommend it both for the beauty of the location and for the kind and professional family management

07/11/2024: A me non è piaciuto. Poca attenzione da parte dello staff che risultava quasi scocciato alle richieste del tavolo. Qualità medio bassa dei prodotti. Conto medio alto per quello che si è mangiato.

01/11/2024: Second time I came back and I was satisfied. I went back a third time, this time on a Saturday evening with music, very welcome and taken tongs from rotisserie/fried cutting boards And cocktails. Always nice to come back and bring new friends

06/05/2025: Clean, welcoming with numerous seats inside and outside... Wide choice of preparations based on coffee and various creams (chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio, etc.) Retail sale of confectionery products. They don't do table service outside. They have an aperitif. Advised. P. S. It would be nice to ban smoking even on the gazebo outside the place where you can enjoy it with the whole family, including children. However, excellent brioches are always on point.

24/03/2025: I was in Saronno for work. I wanted to drink some beer and eat.....drank a beer quickly and then off....bad people both inside and outside...what a shame!!! Quiet staff.

02/06/2025: Welcomed by Antonio the owner, with a kindness and a grace from another era. Warm and abundant appetizers, then moving on to the spaghetti with clams and bottarga, a heavenly dish. The foreigners next to us were practically in ecstasy. Good and much better than the starred restaurants where we have been ❤️

10/05/2025: At first the staff was quite friendly but after a short time they became really unfriendly. We ordered our food before the people beside us had even arrived and they still became their fold way before us (it seemed like the staff knew them). At the point we finally got our food, we found out that the meal that my mom ordered consisted of 7! single asparagus (look picturw below) and nothing else. And that costed 10€. Additionally the asprugus seemed like they weren't even peeled at all so she couldn't cut them and they were way too chewy and tough too eat. When the staff came and asked if everything was alright my mom said that her meal wasn't enjoyable at all. It seemed like they didn't care. So for the conclusion, the only nice thing at this restaurant was the view.

02/05/2025: Anyone who comes to Luino cannot miss visiting the Rustica! Not going to the Rustica, it would be like going to Paris and not going to the "Tour Effeil". go to Rome and not visit the Colosseum or go to Athens and not visit the Acropolis! Beautiful and shiny restaurant and pizzeria! Honest prices; delicious food; hospitality “feel at home”! . Before leaving the venue, remember to reserve for next time.

18/05/2025: The restaurant is beautiful and the service is fantastic (informal which I always prefer and also very courteous and professional). They also have English menus which saves time on having to use google translate etc. Alas, the food is so poor had I tasked my 7 year old niece with it she would have come up with a better quality meal. The quality of the steak was ok (not spectacular. I doubt it is from cows in pasture) but it was unevenly grilled. I asked for medium and it was medium on one side and medium rare borderline rare on the other (photo attached). The steak is not marinated and is probably the most bland steak I had in any steakhouse in my life (I travelled to around 70 countries). It is just a steak cut that is slapped on the grill and nothing else. There are no sauces to accompany it and it was not even salted during the grilling. The potatoes in the oven are the same boring potatoes with oil and a negligible amount of onion 🧅 served in 1,001 steakhouses in North Italy 🇮🇹 but ironically it and the wine were the only successful part of the meal. In a desperate search for flavour I decided to also order the "chickpeas from Sicily". I was imagining a creamy paste of chickpeas with lemon and garlic but instead I got a glass bowl with hard chickpeas from a supermarket jar that were slightly warmed in the microwave. On top of this masterpiece raw rosemary leaves were stuck (am I supposed to eat them? They were also laying on the steak. Had rosemary been fried in butter and smothered on the steak it would have at least tasted of something). I was hoping the dessert will save the day but unfortunately it too was barely edible. The so-called salted caramel tiramisu was not salted at all. It tasted of an industrial caramel sauce on top of unremarkable cheesy whatever without even a hint of marsala wine or rum and some salted peanuts.

23/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per ascoltare jazz e blues dal vivo proposti da un amico e la sua band. Venivamo da un'altra città, quindi non lo conoscevamo, ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Abbiamo preso un aperitivo in un ambiente accogliente, sereno, gioviale, con personale gentile, disponibile e rapido. La birra alla spina era ottima, e anche l'analcolico secco che abbiamo preso dopo ci ha lasciato stupefatti . In generale, guardandoci intorno nelle due ore abbondanti di permanenza per seguire il "concerto" abbiamo notato che, sia il giro di clienti, che il personale sorridente e attento, danno un'aria familiare al posto

18/05/2025: I have been coming to this place for several years now, alone or in company. Very welcoming restaurant with a lovely outdoor space for summer lunches and dinners. Excellent food, the menu changes almost weekly. The owner is a special person who can make you feel at home. Everyone who has come with me has always been enthusiastic and satisfied. I have never found a place where you feel so good

03/05/2025: Cozy Italian restaurant, very good quality of food. I especially recommend the mixed fry (the best in the area) and the first courses. you eat well. I also had a dessert, we ate a lot and didn't spend much.

02/05/2025: NEW MANAGEMENT for the Cerro Kiosk! Giovanni Maretti, the brilliant chef of the well-known restaurant Particolare e Golf in Travedona, also threw himself into this adventure and, curious, I went with his family to see and try the new place! The location is wonderful, facing the Borromean Islands, perfect for the summer sunset, well-kept and well-shaded, close to the beaches and with numerous car parks. The service is precise, attentive and fast considering the number of seats. The cuisine is in the style of the Chef with a menu that is both local and refined with raw materials of the highest quality. Prices absolutely in line with quality and location! Seeing is believing, passed with full marks 💪🏼💪🏼😃
