18/05/2025: Good experience overall. Very good pizza. I wasn't crazy about the dessert but it was well done. Good service, nice waiters/waitresses, maybe just a little slow but nothing serious. Nice location, space between tables. Nice atmosphere inside the room.

21/04/2025: I went for lunch on Easter Monday. Very welcoming atmosphere, beautiful view of the lake. Good food, but a bit of a long wait. Fair food quality/price. I recommend it!!!

11/05/2025: Repatriated among conscripts from Avigno!, a small village in the Varese area where I lived for 20 years. Nice restaurant in Laveno with good parking in front. Paella and beer for me and others and then pizza!! I would say very good seafood paella (I also had an encore) and the pizza had an excellent face!! That's good.

10/05/2025: As already pointed out by previous reviewers the hamburgers look better than they taste. I knew it is not a gourmet burger eatery but on Saturday evening it was my only choice as I didn't have time to go to the supermarket and cook dinner (I try to avoid eating out when in Gallarate because I don't like the food anywhere). The hamburgers are good value for money but the main problem is the meat is too salty which was unpleasant. Over salted food is a common problem in Italy 🇮🇹 because people use little or no spice or chilli 🌶 in the food and so they compensate for the lack of flavour with too much salt. The patties also lack sauce and the caramelized onions that were a couple of cold onion slivers smothered in what tasted like jam did not impress. The "baked potatoes" at 6 Euros sounded like a steal but they were 7 or 8 slices of potatoes that were baked in the oven. They tasted ok but it is not what my mind configured when ordering. The French fries are very good and they come free with the burger plus as a side dish they are cheaper so they are the better choice as a side dish. Finally the so called "home made tiramisu" was characterless and can be described as a flop. Yes, it is probably made on the premises but the ingredients used in making it are not fitting for a tiramisu (instead of the signature sponge texture it has biscuits that became soft in the fridge). There was also no hint of rum or marsala wine in the recipe. The two waitresses are kind but they are overwhelmed by having to arrange food on the robot inside the restaurant and also attend to those sitting on tables outside. Robots are a great idea in large restaurants (typically Chinese and Thai restaurants in Asia that have a capacity of more than 30 family tables) because the cooks at cooking station can offload the dish fast and it is sent before it gets cold. However, in a small restaurant in Gallarate it is a silly gimmick because the tables are small and it slows down the service.

12/04/2025: Ci siamo accomodati, io e dei miei amici per la pausa pranzo, e abbiamo ordinato. Cameriera gentile, e il cibo è arrivato molto in fretta, nonostante si sentisse che fosse fatto al momento. Consiglio l’hamburger Devastante, perché, era Devastante! Ottimo lavoro a tutto lo staff!

31/12/2024: I was recently at [bar name] and I have to say it was a really pleasant experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, with modern furnishings but at the same time warm and relaxing. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile. I particularly appreciated the quality of the drinks: the cocktails were well prepared, balanced and served with impeccable presentation.

13/05/2025: Really nice place, the cuisine is taken care of in detail and the ingredients are quality. The sauces made by them are delicious. Even the takeaway arrives preserved in an optimal way and it is like eating it on the spot. The guys are very helpful and kind even for requests on takeaway orders. Highly recommended!

21/04/2025: We were disappointed by the Easter menu, all the dishes were terrible, I would like to point out the most striking ones: terrible trout tartare, patanegra and capricciosa salad without flavour, raw raviolone, greasy and inedible fish fillet. Other friends of mine had raw lamb and this was also inedible. To finish, we ate the Bavarian dessert as the proposed dessert, but it was a mousse, without flavor (a bad copy). And I also add the service was no different, the owner was waiting for us at the checkout as if we didn't want to pay. When I got home I was sick. Not recommended. Thank you
