27/09/2025: Perfect cocktails! The only place in Laveno for a pleasant aperitivo. I recommend Il bacio di Klimt, a fantastic cocktail: coconut, stega, pineapple, chili pepper, pineapple... The bartender, Patrick, is excellent. The lake view, great music, and friendly waiters are not to be underestimated!

28/09/2025: The pizza has absolutely deteriorated, the prices are really high for what they offer, the staff is kind and helpful, the owners are so unfriendly and rude that they don't even deserve to sell chestnuts in the square!!! I will never go there again, and I highly recommend it to everyone else.

22/06/2025: Dinner with two families and many children, helpful and friendly staff, really interesting and quality pizza tour. Light pizza dough, excellent raw material. More than honest prices. A place that deserves attention, to be marked as an intermediate stop for your trips to the lake, it will give you satisfaction.

16/08/2025: Excellent fixed menu lunch, you can choose what you want to eat, whether just a first course or just a second course, etc. The portions are very generous and of good quality, the price is good, average.

14/03/2025: For my taste, it's a great place! The indoor location is fine, the outdoor one is fine thanks to the management, who set up a series of gazebos, but the surrounding area doesn't help. That said, the aperitifs are reasonably priced and always accompanied by something to eat, there's hassle-free parking, and enough tables for a live music crowd, making it ideal for large gatherings. It's not too crowded, and the background music is good (especially if you're alone) but not too loud (if you're with someone). Honestly, if you're in the area, I recommend it over other places in town that might be suggested by search engines.

11/10/2025: It's always a pleasure to eat at Nonna Clara. Good, well-presented dishes, friendly and helpful staff, moderate prices, and convenient parking with plenty of spaces.

19/10/2025: I went today for my nephew's birthday. There was an à la carte menu. I chose polenta and stew. I have to say that I have never eaten such a tasty stew. Compliments to the chef, thanks to Alessio Zarini and all the staff for the service and kindness. I give 5 stars. TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT!!!!

04/08/2025: This is a small, family-run restaurant, and it feels like family. Excellent food, especially the fritto misto, a confirmed seafood specialty! The staff is courteous and humorous, and the service is correspondingly good. The desserts are excellent, too. Reasonable prices.

28/09/2025: An elegant but not exclusive restaurant, in a wonderful location, with a lovely veranda overlooking the lake.... delicate flavors, a good selection of wines, and a nice assortment of desserts... Impeccable and very discreet staff... well done!!! ...I return after a while and am welcomed into the beautiful fireplace room.... ..varied and interesting menu, special mention for the cod accompanied by an amazing pappa al pomodoro... ..impeccable and fast service... ..excellent wines.... well done!!!!
