14/08/2024: Really everything very good!! We loved it, for a family of 4 people, with 2 children. We loved the quality of the dishes, not to be missed!!

25/07/2024: WOW!!! The location, the history, the atmosphere, staff and the food just incredible. The portions of food are extremely generous with complementary breads in between. I would highly recommend sharing so you can try a little bit of everything. The wines were beautiful and the waitresses also spoke English which made it super easy. 10/10 could not fault. Please go here if you have the opportunity it made my Italy holiday it was the exact authentic experience I was hoping for. I unfortunately didn’t take pictures of the food however the building is just so beautiful 600 years old. You won’t regret visiting this amazing restaurant.

07/08/2024: Excellent discovery in Gallarate, quiet environment and very good food. We ate a sandwich and some bruschetta, as well as drinking some draft beers. Overall, everything was very satisfactory, the external environment was well kept and welcoming. only flaw: the tartare was missing ;(.. we'll be back to try it :) I advise

15/12/2024: Dinner with colleagues, superlative appetizer, risotto with Castelmagno and Barolo reduction excellent like everything else, we have been having dinner there for four years for Christmas greetings and we are always super satisfied, and this applies to every day of the year good, keep it up

07/12/2024: My experience with this place was definitely disappointing! I paid an absolutely high price for a truffle which, in addition to not being weighed correctly, did not meet the expectations of any of the diners. The lack of transparency about weight is unacceptable! Not recommended!

17/12/2024: Vengo spesso da Rarica, perché qualsiasi cosa è buonissima. Prediligo lo sfincione e le arancine perchè mi piace il salato, ma anche tutte le cose dolci mangiate lì sono ottime. Da siciliana, e soprattutto da Palermitana, posso assicurare che è il vero AUTENTICO sapore palermitano!!! Che è il migliore, a mio parere, di tutta la Sicilia. Consigliatissimo per colazioni, pranzi, cene e anche per una festa di compleanno a casa con rosticceria mignon (piccola).

12/11/2024: We ate VERY WELL! Fresh food, well cooked, pizza 10 and praise! If I were the manager, I would make the place a little more welcoming, heating it as best as possible and maybe some curtains on the windows + a little less noise "from the base" replaced with background music! Il Paolo is "great", prices are fair, quick service, discreet parking if you're lucky (alternatively, 2 minutes on foot, plenty of parking). We will definitely return because, "for me YES it's worth it"!!

07/11/2024: A few steps from home we are lucky to have this lovely pizzeria, we tried it Excellent thin pizza with well-measured ingredients, on another occasion we also tried the kitchen offering meat dishes accompanied by polenta, once a week also themed dinners. We had a good time, the food is good, we feel at home, the manager is friendly and puts you at ease.. applause to the girl in the dining room, very nice, kind and super professional! Well done

14/08/2024: Venchi is one love (as always) - delicious gelato (try the lemon one) and, of course, chocolate. The staff is super friendly and nice. Beautiful lady Ambra was extremely helpful - answered all our questions and helped make the right choice. Highly recommend!

08/08/2024: The absolute best ice cream! It was the first thing we had when we landed. The service was great. The flavors are amazing and the variety is amazing. Make sure you stop and taste many flavors. We tried a few before making our choice. The pistachio is my absolute favorite favorite!

06/12/2024: The food was really great, prepared with fresh ingredients and great care. The room manager was very friendly, welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. A place I definitely recommend!

23/08/2024: Chef Ilario ha la fisicità della riverenza, ed il cuore dell'informalità. Vi accoglie nel suo villino lombardo come portiere di un mondo perduto, come un ospite che apre le porte di casa. L'abitudine sta nelle parole, nelle strette di mano, negli sguardi di intesa. La sua visita ai tavoli è una complice provocazione, così come la sua cucina, che affonda nell’infanzia, e riemerge in un gioco di rivisitazioni. Chef Ilario conosceva bene il percorso da fare, e ci è arrivato da tempo: il sudore, le mani sporche, i luoghi visitati sono la concretezza della sua vita, e si svelano nel via vai del tavolo, tra profumi, delizie e contemporaneità. Cavallo di battaglia è la ricreazione dei dolci, sorpresa a cui lasciare un po' di spazio visivo e gustativo. Da provare.

21/08/2024: Finalmente siamo dal mitico Vinciguerrra! Serata del 20 Agosto, anniversario di mia moglie. Abbiamo scelto il menu da 4 portate, carne. Un po' strano , a sorpresa; pre antipasto, piattini semplici , ma gustosi, presentati da Mr.Ilario. Antipasti a piccole dosi, con pancetta locale , verdure e formaggi, elaborati e ..buoni. Un primo di spaghetti ingannevole come quantita', superbo; qui si vede la qualita' della pasta, al dente perfetto, pomodori semplici e interno dl pesto. Ottimo. Ero gia' quasi accoffato, quando e' arrivato l'arrosto di maiale con verdure ....super..! Prima del dolce, scenografia con foglie di lauro immerse in acqua e limone, che Mr. Ilario ha incendiato con una piccola cortina fumogena e un gran profumo. E poi i dolci, tutti fantastici, incluso il minibaba e Oro di Napoli. Insomma , contenti e soddisfatti della serata, trascorsa piacevolmente . Ci torneremo, magari piu avanti, con delle portate autunnali o invernali. Certo, i prezzi non sono modesti, ma la qualita' il servizio e l'atmosfera devono essere correlati.

17/12/2024: Excellent dishes, mainly from the Lombard tradition, also revisited. The environment is well cared for and elegant. When we went for dinner we found the service to be less than attentive from some of the waiters. Overall the experience was positive.

15/12/2024: Excellent place, perfect for a couple's dinner!! Traditional Lombard cuisine in an elegant but informal setting. 🥰 Prices a little high and portions not exactly abundant justified by impeccable service and the excellent quality of the dishes. I highly recommend the risotto. I'll be back

24/11/2024: 4 of us were there on a Saturday evening, the place was not full, simple, like a high-class trattoria, without having consulted the menu already with water (tapped) we had spent €4 each (cover charge €3.20 with homemade breadsticks, excessive) varied menu without a precise line (first and second courses of fish, meat, even pizza) almost all good with small (gourmet restaurant type) and expensive portions, extensive and out of scale wine list, a wine to 5/6€ at the supermarket proposed at 24€, so 4 dishes, 2 desserts and wine cost very high and still hungry when you leave...good service though!

20/11/2024: happened for lunch, it's not a place I would return to. at the reception, you are asked if you want a midday menu or an à la carte menu, giving an answer to this question without knowing the proposals remains a bit difficult, once the à la carte option has been chosen, we are directed to a room , if we had chosen paper we would have been placed in a different room and in my opinion this is not nice to look at. proposed menu at 16 euros, we opt for just one dish and order a bottle of wine and two desserts, thus seeing ourselves without knowing it teleported into the choice of menu card. account in my opinion not justified in terms of amount. failed lunch experience.

08/08/2024: I went for lunch with my mother and my daughter, who made the mistake of saying that she is vegan, and ordered a plate of spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli, thinking not to bother too much and order something simple. They brought her a plate of spaghetti with at least two ounces of burrata on top (which really has nothing to do with garlic, oil and chilli). We point this out and then what do they do? They bring a plate of spaghetti that is completely unseasoned, and also overcooked. Really bad service and terrible way of treating customers. We will definitely not be returning, nor us, nor any of our acquaintances. I strongly advise against everyone going to eat at this place. (Calling it a restaurant would be too much grace).

20/11/2024: It was a pleasant discovery. We went there booking at midday for the evening. We had 3 dishes each with dessert and an excellent bottle of wine. The dishes were really well prepared, very well laid out but above all very good! Prepared and extremely courteous service. The owner is very nice, we will be back soon!
