25/03/2025: This is the second time we have come here and it is the second time we have been pleasantly surprised. Very good and refined food, impeccable service, always done with a smile and with considerable competence. The waitress directed me and my partner on the choice of wines, both of which were 100% accurate. I highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the area.

16/03/2025: Trip to Bormio with friends. They recommended this restaurant to us for its family atmosphere and cuisine. We were largely satisfied with the local cuisine based on pizzoccheri and sciatt. We also recommend the tagliatelle. All in a quiet and welcoming environment.

14/03/2025: I come from Como, I discovered Ancora thanks to a local guy who pointed it out to me. I went back there on purpose the following week, for a little stroll. Well I say it was worth the hour-long drive. I can only dream of pizzoccheri and sloppy pies like those cooked here. At least until the next visit. Which will happen very soon. Oh, yes. Very soon. Very welcoming and attentive service from the dining room staff: it's a bit like eating at the home of friends from Valtellina that you forgot you had and were going to visit, and you don't even spend an exaggerated amount (even if, when you eat so well, you don't pay much attention to your wallet). As far as I'm concerned, going to visit Morbegno and not stopping for lunch or dinner here is pure culinary blasphemy and you deserve to roast in the hell of fast food restaurants and petrol stations. I demand to shift the emphasis from "Àncora" to "ancòra": the word I associate with the feeling I feel when I think about this kitchen. What are you waiting for? Book a table, for God's sake!

03/11/2024: We spent a night in this beautiful refuge in Val Codera. Super friendly staff and delicious food. Also pay attention to those who are vegetarians. Excellent risotto and space desserts, great selection of wines and good craft beer. We reached the Valli bivouac starting from the refuge. Many thanks to Mirko, Elisabetta and Beppe!

09/03/2025: Great place, highly recommended. The friendly and attentive staff, the excellent service, the fantastic quality of the dishes. We were 4 people, 2 Valtellina starters, 3 first courses, 1 second course, wine - all very good. The generous portions. Total expense - 100 euros. There are fewer and fewer places like this left. Congratulations to those who manage Red Fox and those who work there, you are the best, see you next time I'm over there

25/02/2025: Maybe at first glance it's not an atmospheric place to eat a pizza, but after receiving the pizza, you can see that it's amazing and every bite confirms that it's one of the best pizzas. Huge selection of pizzas. Over 60! We ate there every day with 7 people and we don't know which one is the best. They were all great. Very nice lady from the staff. Prices are also decent. We will be happy to return there!

28/01/2025: For the second time my wife and I went for lunch. This time too we were delighted by the refinement and care of the dishes. Whether meat or fish is chosen, the recipes are not banal and always captivating. Obviously “the wine list” is still up to par. Well done, keep it up.
