22/03/2026: The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, but the food quality was far below expectations. The dishes were beautiful but tasteless.

05/05/2026: Good, well-prepared dishes. They also offer a variety of dishes that aren't typical of the area. My only complaint: my plate of "ravioli filled with ricotta and walnuts with pears" was missing the pears. There was only the slice of roasted pear you see in the photo, so the pear flavor was missing. The atmosphere is welcoming and very refined. It's a shame about the "market" selling handbags and various accessories around the column in front of the counter, which somewhat detracts from the overall atmosphere. Friendly staff. Prices are quite high. Main courses (€22-25) don't include side dishes, which must be ordered separately. Cover charge is €3.50. In high season, reservations are required for weekend dinners, as they're often full.

03/05/2026: I went to dinner with friends last night and was warmly welcomed by the wait staff. They were immediately available for any requests or information. They pay great attention to both the customer and the food. The first courses are exceptional, and don't miss the buttercream gelato with warm jam—it's a real treat. A definite stop on your next mountain trip!

22/09/2025: Valtellina cuisine isn't suited to Mediterranean stomachs. The venison was well-cooked, the wine drinkable, the service friendly, and the pine forest all around. Aurelio, the innkeeper, even lent us the key to Don Guanella's house, now a museum, so we could visit. Very kind people, a wonderful experience. It's a shame it will all be over in a few days...

06/01/2026: A welcoming and modern property with all the comforts in the rooms and a small shared kitchen, located approximately 750 meters above sea level on the "Costiera dei Cech" in the municipality of Civo, a hamlet of Serone (SO), in a quiet area surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of the Alps and Valtellina. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The common areas and rooms are extremely clean. The property has a large veranda at the front and back and a restaurant serving excellent traditional Valtellina cuisine using top-quality, locally sourced produce. Highly recommended.

25/02/2026: We've known this agriturismo for a few years, offering excellent food and wine, a warm welcome, and guaranteed kindness. So far, it has never disappointed us. What can I say? If you go, you won't regret it. You'll enjoy generous portions of food and a good local red wine that's a pleasure to drink. Typical Valtellina cuisine, worth trying. Recommended. Fair prices.

25/04/2026: A restaurant serving authentic home cooking, where every dish exudes tradition. The sciatt are crispy, delicious, and made just right; the pizzoccheri are simply amazing, rich and filling, just like grandma's. The ambiance is simple yet refined, with friendly service and an authentic atmosphere. A place that makes you want to return.

23/02/2026: I went for lunch with my parents on Sunday. Beautiful restaurant in Santa Caterina. Careful mountain-style atmosphere. Excellent, attentive service. Superlative food. Delicious sciatt, stringy and not at all greasy. Delicious pizzoccheri, very cheesy. A special mention goes to the braulio creamed pasta as a fitting conclusion. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back when we go to Santa Caterina.

13/04/2026: A big plus for the central location. Outstanding dinners—worth another star. Friendly service, a hotel in my typical Alpine style. Ski storage, parking, beautiful mountain-style rooms. A great bar. Be sure to ask for a specific street entrance—only the one provided in the reservation email is acceptable; otherwise, you might get a fine for driving on an internal city street. I rate the hotel as divine!
