24/10/2025: Coming here for almost 35 years and it does not loose its charm. Food is terrific, the next generation handles the cooking. The parents are serving and they are adorable and so friendly. Definitely worth the trip!!

The dishes are truly high-quality and the portions are generous...the service is impeccable to say the least. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be back very soon! We were especially pleased with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff: my family and I had a car problem, and even though it was a holiday, the staff called everyone they knew to figure out how to help us. They should all be like that. Highly recommended!!

The meat and cheeses were locally sourced, served impeccably.
The desserts prepared by the pastry chef were also delicious.
I recommend them for a lunch featuring typical Valtellina flavors.
The location is very elegant and the service is attentive, with a very friendly and welcoming waiter.

I plan to return and highly recommend it.

The chef prepared pasta off the menu for my daughter and reheated my son's puree to precisely 30 degrees!

Of all things, the most beautiful view and the beer.
24/10/2025: La Capriata is an excellent restaurant, with thoughtfully curated menus and wood-fired pizzas. We chose unusual dishes like smoked eel and confit veal cheek. The dishes are well presented, the food is excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service is fast.
For lunch, the ground floor dining room is more pleasant, but for dinner, the attic room is perfect.
We will be back.

16/12/2025: While traveling, we were looking for a place to have lunch in Sondrio. We called to ask for a place for two, and a kind gentleman said he was waiting for us. Nice place, clean, tidy, excellent dishes and combinations, good welcome and service, even if a little cold.
Recommended. Personally, I prefer a warmer welcome and service.
