06/06/2026: Bormio is a lovely village. And the hotel is in the middle of it. Hotel staff is polite and helpful beyond expectations. They helped us get a dinner delivered at 23h from a nearby restaurant as we arrived very late at night.

25/01/2026: We spent five days at this hotel with the half-board option and were absolutely satisfied. The stay was extremely pleasant. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was rich, varied, and truly delicious, and dinner was equally delicious, prepared with great care and attention. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from the center, and offers a convenient free shuttle service to the ski slopes, a truly appreciated feature. We highly recommend this hotel.

16/12/2025: While traveling, we were looking for a place to have lunch in Sondrio. We called to ask for a place for two, and a kind gentleman said he was waiting for us. Nice place, clean, tidy, excellent dishes and combinations, good welcome and service, even if a little cold. Recommended. Personally, I prefer a warmer welcome and service.

17/06/2026: The staff and the owner were very welcoming and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, it did not affect my dining experience at all. The food and drinks were delicious, and the sorbeto was especially surprising and memorable. I visited this restaurant twice during my 2-day, 1-night trip, which shows how much I enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The staff would guide guests to their tables, so there was little opportunity to choose a preferred seating area, but the service was efficient and attentive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: Spacious and comfortable place. Great with kids. The owners were very kind in offering us the workers' menu as well. We chose other dishes, however, and they were delicious!!! Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: A very warm and welcoming trattoria in the village. We found a table even though we hadn't booked, and the food was excellent. The service was quite fast. Really tasty food: excellent pizzoccheri, as was the tagliata, the venison stew with polenta, which was a huge hit, as were the desserts. We tried a really good crema catalana and the tiramisu, which was also delicious (very homemade and large portions). A place we'd gladly return to if we were to be in the area again. Much appreciated.

24/04/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and immediately puts you at ease. Dario, Rosa, their son (whose name escapes me at the moment), and the entire staff are fantastic. I ate what I consider to be the best pizza in the valley, for sure, but probably not only that. Dario gives his all in the kitchen; the first and second courses are fantastic, the desserts are fabulous, and a small note on the coffee. Go there, you'll thank me.

19/04/2026: What a shame, high expectations, but nothing in and of itself. The waiters bicker among themselves, thinking the customers don't see their tantrums... Snobbish, arrogant, and falsely polite. Not to mention the receptionists, unsuitable and lacking a minimum of attention and professionalism; for a 3-star hotel, having unqualified staff is a serious problem. The breakfast is minimal, things are moved almost every day; the day before you find things in one place, the next in another... There's no attention, not to mention some waiters who are certainly more attentive than others. The "maître d'" (if you can call him that) is unprofessional; he thinks he works in a trattoria, but instead he works in a 3-star hotel. The attire and hairstyle were completely unprofessional for a maître d' (one day he was a pizza chef and the other a waiter, completely wrong and unprofessional, especially since the day he made the pizzas, they were pretty awful). The other waiters were much better dressed and professional; I don't know how the maître d' became a maître d'... The perfumery, on the other hand, was decidedly better, with courteous and attentive staff. It's a shame about the hotel staff, who were unprofessional and arrogant.

02/05/2026: Impeccable and courteous service, everything very good, we took the Valtellinese menu and we were surprised by the excellent quality/price ratio, superlative tartare seasoned at the table

14/04/2026: We were their guests for dinner four consecutive nights in April 2026, and they always stood out for their courtesy, kindness, experience, friendliness, professionalism, and, most importantly, honesty. We ate different dishes each time, and each dish was a new experience of taste and flavor combinations. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere was welcoming and well-decorated, with a consistently perfect atmosphere. If I were to return to Tirano, I would have no doubts about where to eat. Thank you ❤️.

28/04/2026: This is a quiet location with flawless professional execution of food as per the Michelin star . The oven baked trout was delicately flavoured and freshly caught on the property . The salad was unique in greens components and delicious. The vegetable pasta prepared off menu was one of the best my vegetarian wife has had . The molten chocolate desert was perfect .Cost reasonable for the quality delivered. Wines excellent by the half bottle . A gem .

08/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and were truly impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and tastefully decorated. The large windows overlooking the mountains are beautiful. Excellent products, truly delicious croissants and pastries, and a wide selection. Congratulations to anyone who froths the milk for the cappuccinos, because it's the best I've ever had. Friendly and efficient staff. A wonderful discovery 🥐

The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

05/03/2026: We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights with our 4-year-old son. It's a family-run hotel, and you can immediately feel the warmth. We arrived early in the morning to enjoy a day of skiing, and not only was our room ready and available, but the owner also offered us breakfast. We've never seen anything like this in many hotels I've visited. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels and everything we needed. The dinners were delicious, and the service from the owners and waiter Cristian was very attentive and friendly, satisfying all the needs of both adults and children. My wife also enjoyed the well-kept and clean wellness center. This is a highly recommended place to enjoy the magnificent slopes of Santa Caterina. The new La Fonte ski lift, Mirilla Land, and the extraordinary cross-country ski trail are just a 2-minute walk away. A free bus to the gondola lift stops in front of the hotel every 12 minutes. The only downside was the parking, although free and available, was a bit cramped and narrow, with icy snow, but it was perfectly acceptable given all the effort and passion. Very satisfied, we'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: Family owned and Italian hospitality at its best. Absolutely amazing stay the staff are incredibly helpful fantastic service. Valentina was exceptionally helpful in adjusting our reservation it was seamless. The hotel is extremely clean, warm and comfortable. Rooms spacious and cleaned daily fresh linen and towels extremely comfortable bed. Sauna and steam with a towel and slipper bag 👌 practical. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner options and quality of food superb. ❤️ 🇮🇹💚
