Very welcoming staff, always available and the service is fast. Comfortable and clean environment. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well to discover new sensations in flavors.

19/05/2025: Saturday night, two possible times to book either at 7:00/7:30 pm or at 9:00 pm. The problem arises when we were still eating the appetizer (brought 10 minutes earlier) and they arrive with the pizza. The waitress, considerably annoyed, takes the pizza back saying in a very rude tone that we would have to wait another 40 minutes. An experience not to be repeated, eating in a hurry during a dinner is not the best.

02/05/2025: Fermati a pranzo in questa osteria con annesso albergo in località Mortara , il sito è ubicato di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria. Non posso dire di aver mangiato male anzi ottimamente, un antipasto in due mezzo litro di vino due risotti veramente ottimi caffè acqua, per un totale di 75 euro, non contesto il conto in se stesso , i prezzi ben scritti sul menù, ma torniamo all antipasto, il prezzo doveva essere di euro 11 , insalata russa e salame tradizionale locale, invece all uscita sullo scontrino mi sono ritrovato non 11 euro ma bensì 19 euro. Voglio credere che ci sia stato un errore al momento del conto , personalmente non mi interessa il fatto di avere sborsato 8 euro in più, ma una cosa così in una cassa di un ristorante apparentemente di buon livello, ASSOLUTAMENTE non deve succedere.

What we really appreciated was the kindness and friendliness of the owner We are 2 and a half hours away from IL CUuC but if we are in the vicinity again we will definitely return....thank you for hosting us!

30/04/2025: We found the place by chance, we had a great time, fast service, we had pasta carbonara, pasta with clams, grilled octopus and for dessert strawberries with mascarpone cream, all excellent and well cooked

06/05/2025: Davvero un ristorante di tradizione oltrepopavese.ristorante salumeria in un borgo stupendo ben sistemato.titolare gentilissima.io mangiato salame Varzi il migliore assaggiato coppa loro eccellente così come pancetta.preso ravioli alla varzese molto molto saporiti.un locale non turistico ma vero .

04/05/2025: Pranzo in 4 dal mitico ristorante Buscone. La signora Roberta è una persona speciale ottima sommelier . L Oltrepo' pavese è un incanto e qui i sapori e il vino fanno sentire tutto l'amore che provo per questo luogo. Ravioli, risotto, Agnello, Costine,Salumi tutti ottimi. Venite non Ve ne pentirete.

08/06/2025: We booked for 6 people, but at the last minute one of them couldn't come. From the moment we arrived, they treated us badly because we hadn't warned them. Then they gave us a table for 6 anyway. One of the waiters came to ask us if we wanted water while we were waiting for the other person... When we said there were 5 of us, he treated us badly again, saying that they lose reservations for 6 for things like that. We didn't understand why all this fuss over one less person. In the end we left because of the lack of respect and rudeness. I absolutely do not recommend going to that place.

30/05/2025: I was in this place a few nights ago with some friends and I have to say that the experience was really pleasant. Welcoming atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, and really good food. We had different dishes and everything was well taken care of, both in presentation and taste. Excellent value for money too. Definitely a place to return to!

26/05/2025: Dinner for two in a restaurant with a modern decor, with some pop elements, in a large and spacious room. The dinner was very good, the rib eye and the tagliata were expertly cooked and the chimichurri sauce was an unexpected but very pleasant surprise. The staff was very kind and professional. I will definitely come back in the future to try the pizzas, which look delicious.

26/05/2025: Cena di coppia in un ristorante con un arredamento dal gusto moderno, con alcuni elementi pop, in una sala ampia e spaziosa. La cena è stata molto buona, la costata e la tagliata erano cotte con esperienza e la salsa chimichurri si è rivelata un'inaspettata ma gradevolissima sorpresa. Personale molto gentile e professionale. Sicuramente tornerò in futuro per provare anche le pizze, che hanno un aspetto delizioso.

25/04/2025: Place found by chance since the cuisine is also gluten-free. Not a very large place but nice with a particular and inviting menu. They also make pizza. Friendly and helpful staff. Maybe the dessert is a little pricey. Still recommended.

04/05/2025: Old-fashioned trattoria, without a thousand pretensions but which hides the soul of a starred restaurant. Starting with the bread served at the table, with turmeric, the black one, breadsticks, vegetable bread, all made by the chef. Special dishes, just with the starter you would be full, mixed land, very high quality cured meats, cheeses, vegetable rattatouille, nerves, chicken and fried dumplings that will drive you crazy. Very good first and second courses, we took the ossobuco with yellow risotto, ravioli (homemade) filled with ricotta, with prawns and asparagus. You eat meat and fish, both of high quality and developed in a sublime way. Note to remember: SWEETS Also made by the chef, with delicious tarts and millefeuille. Adequate price but still very low by standards. You enter with a smile, you leave even better.

30/04/2025: Nice place and meeting place for all ages, both for breakfast and after dinner. Quick lunch on a working day and dinner with friends. Excellent personal service available, always very kind towards customers. Family of entrepreneurs, always kind and up to the demands of customers of all ages, from children to adults. I confirm what I said previously, thank goodness we have a meeting place for kids. I confirm what was said previously also this morning breakfast always adequate in terms of prices and croissants.

24/04/2025: A perfect place as a meeting point, ideal for starting the day with a tasty breakfast, treating yourself to an aperitif in company in the open air or enjoying a lunch during your work break. The environment is welcoming, and the staff stands out for their availability and courtesy. The other evening we returned for a pizza, really excellent. Highly recommended!

19/05/2025: I was there for a birthday, beautiful evening, there was karaoke, so fun guaranteed between dancing and music, for being a small restaurant I expected better service, instead I received the pizza after an hour and a half from ordering. Affordable prices

07/05/2025: Dal cenone squisito di Capodanno non ho più smesso di ritornare più e più volte, per il mio compleanno, pasqua e Pasquetta, serate latine, musica dal vivo... Locale intimo ed accogliente, staff simpaticissimo, professionale, attento al cliente Piatti e pizze eccellenti E poi che dire del proprietario? Decanta i piatti ed i vini con estrema eleganza e conoscenza Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo Vi invito assolutamente a fare sosta alla Bruschetta 2!!!

25/04/2025: We had lunch today at this farmhouse, a very beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Excellent cured meats with fried dumplings, very good Russian salad. 23/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo a Pasqua con possibilità di scegliere liberamente tra le proposte. Ottimo il pescato del giorno ovvero un branzino accompagnato da un ottimo purè. Personale gentile .

18/04/2025: Cena con amiche, ci volevo andare da tanto, ma non trovavo mai posto . Mi sono trovata benissimo . Brigata di gente giovane, gentile, preparata . Servizio veloce ed impeccabile . Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene , piatti particolari , non le solite proposte locali , ieri la proposta era prevalentemente di pesce . Il cannolo scomposto come dolce veramente top, un’esplosione di sapori . Lo consiglio vivamente e spero di riuscire a trovare posto per tornarci presto. Bravi ragazzi 👏🏻
