The agriturismo is perfect for weddings and events thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail. Renata and her staff are incredibly kind and helpful, they truly make a difference. It's rare to find people so passionate about their work!

20/10/2025: We celebrated my son's Confirmation at this restaurant and were thrilled! We were the only guests, and the atmosphere was simply perfect: a rustic yet meticulously crafted setting, welcoming, warm, and familiar—ideal for the occasion. The food was excellent, plentiful, and of excellent quality. Everything was prepared with locally sourced produce, grown, harvested, and processed by Renata and her staff: a guarantee of authenticity and passion. The impeccable service, always attentive and courteous, made the day even more enjoyable. The wedding favors created for the event were also greatly appreciated, a touch of originality and good taste that impressed all our guests. Everyone was impressed by the quality of the food, the beauty of the location, and the warm welcome—so much so that they're already thinking of booking an event in 2026! A heartfelt thank you to Renata, Massimo, & Co. for their helpfulness, professionalism, and the love they put into their work. Everything was truly perfect! ❤️

13/10/2025: We went there for the first time for a fantastic exhibition at the castle. Excellent experience, warm welcome, attentive and friendly service, especially from the young man. The dishes were quality. We ordered mushroom risotto, pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola, etc. Everything was very good. I confess I would have liked to try the pizzas too. Recommended 👍

06/10/2025: For a quick lunch, I arrive at this place at 2:32 PM (closing time is 3:00 PM) and am rudely asked not to sit down, shouting, "There are plenty of other bars around here." Refuse.

03/11/2025: The location is a bit dated but typical of the Pavia hills, but it could use a bit of a refresh without distorting its character... the staff is friendly and the owner is very knowledgeable. The food is good, but, at least in my opinion, the portions are a bit small, as if the quantities were calculated mathematically based on the number of diners. The tasting menu is a bit pricey compared to other agriturismos in the area. Upon payment, we were offered a digestif and a bottle of red wine. EDIT TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: Reiterating what I've already said, we wanted to try the restaurant again yesterday. Given the €55.00 asking price for the full menu, including drinks and coffee, yesterday we ordered à la carte as suggested by the owner...now, rather than à la carte, it was the waiter's memory that was telling us, given that there are no traces of written menus with prices. However, we ordered two appetizers, which were served in small bites and not as complete as at other tables, given the total disorganization of the service (Russian salad and cold cuts rolls never arrived), and only one first course (we had asked for pumpkin gnocchi and received a risotto with sausage). We didn't complain, however, given how long we had already waited for the appetizers. Then, surprise, after requesting it, a bowl of freshly made Russian salad arrived, completely disjointed and tasting of seafood given the amount of salt. We asked for two desserts, a chocolate salami and a meringue, which were served still iced. We forgot about coffee or anything else. We specify that we ordered a bottle of white wine and a bottle of still water, as well as, at the end, half a liter of undrinkable straw-yellow house wine. Having said this, at the cashier, the owner, after having us list what we ordered, prints out receipt number 3 (!!!!), charging us, almost as if he were doing us a favor, a whopping €80.00. The receipt says number 2, fixed menu!! The details of what we ordered clearly don't exist since, since there is no written menu, the prices are made up on the spot. To be fair, the bill would have been €81.00 verbally, but we were generously discounted by €1.00. CLEARLY NEVER AGAIN!

02/11/2025: A heavenly experience: Sunday lunch is a must-try. Everything is served with a smile and a rare kindness. Exceptional cured meats, fried gnocco, fried vegetables, various first courses, three extraordinary first courses (the risotto with salami barely beats the braised beef ravioli), a mix of roasts accompanied by potatoes, green beans, and salad. Desserts are mouth-watering. As for the wines, the house deserves a special mention: the selection is amazing, the still white was remarkable. The house dessert... what more can I say? No time wasters. No rushed people. Each course is savored slowly. While it's raining outside and fog reigns in the Po Valley, inside—also thanks to the wine—there's a family atmosphere and authentic aromas that even a discerning Calabrian can appreciate. You are fantastic. An unforgettable lunch!!!

12/10/2025: Discovered by chance. We spent 30 euros for two over the weekend with two menus, beer, and water. Very good.

15/10/2025: A typical Pavia trattoria under the porticoes, offering excellent cured meats and excellent braised meat with delicious polenta. The owner, who is always very friendly, provided excellent advice on wine and dessert. Reasonably priced, highly recommended.

13/10/2025: At dinner, everything was excellent, from the food to the quality wine. The staff were kind and friendly. The location was excellent. I will definitely be back. Recommended.

04/10/2025: We celebrated our daughter Arianna's eighteenth birthday on September 21st. It was a beautiful day in a fairytale location. The imperial table, set especially for us with refined and elegant details, made the party unforgettable! The food was incredible, almost entirely made with the freshest seafood, abundant and perfectly cooked! The cake was dreamy, the desserts, the fruit, and finally, a taste of excellent pasta and potatoes! The entertainment, the kindness, and so much music!! What can I say... Thank you so much and see you next time!
