I stopped at this inn for a quick lunch. Efficient service, dated place, friendly, polite staff. Good food but perhaps a little too seasoned, so much so that I drank at least 2 liters of water that afternoon 😭

I had a delightful dining experience at this establishment during my day trip to Pavia. While exploring the city's architectural and historical landmarks, I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to dine here due to its excellent reviews and convenient location. I was thoroughly impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, particularly as a foreign visitor with limited Italian language skills. The staff greeted me promptly and escorted me to a table for one. My server, a courteous young gentleman, explained the menu in English, for which I was extremely grateful. I was astonished by the exceptional value offered, with multiple dishes available for only €14. The risotto was truly exceptional. The service and cuisine both earned a perfect score of 10/10. I intend to return and recommend this restaurant to others during my next visit. Thank you for providing a warm and inclusive experience for international patrons.

Excellent welcome, delicious food. The staff really make an effort to explain the menu, which is only written in Italian. A great find!

It might seem strange to give it the highest score. Yet it's true: I ate well, served well, and enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere.

Lunch hosted by friends from Pavia. We were really happy with the menu, excellent food in a truly interesting setting, with very welcoming owners and staff. The place is clean and well-kept. We'll definitely be back.

Despite the tables being crowded, they served us coffee at the counter with kindness and speed. Feeling treated well as customers and as individuals is essential. Recommended.

I attended the murder mystery dinner on February 21, 2026. We had a great time. The dinner was excellent, the actors were good. It was a very nice evening.
