13/10/2025: This restaurant has been open for many years. The fish is truly delicious and beautifully presented. The service is fast and helpful. The restaurant is a bit dated in every way.

17/09/2025: We already knew the restaurant, and since we were in the area on Friday, we decided to return. We ate very well; my husband had a very good seafood risotto with lots of fish. I had a gratinated seafood appetizer that was enough for two, followed by a grilled sea bass fillet. Everything was excellent, but we had no hesitation. The owner and staff were knowledgeable and very kind. The price was reasonable for the meal. We will definitely be back.

12/10/2025: We dined at the Gandula Restaurant in Cesate, a charming location surrounded by a large green space, making it an ideal destination for important events such as weddings, first communions, and so on. The restaurant has a welcoming indoor dining room, a covered outdoor area, and—the real highlight—a vast, illuminated garden that creates a magical atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the menu is simple yet sophisticated. We ordered risotto with ossobuco (very good) and excellent paccheri with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella. We will definitely return to try the cotoletta alla milanese: we saw some magnificent ones paraded between the tables, and it will be our next stop. Although some dishes are a bit pricey, the quality of the cuisine and the ambiance are worth the visit.

11/10/2025: A week after our wedding at this beautiful location, I can begin by saying that it has become a special place for us. From the moment we first arrived at Gandula, we felt a connection with Maddalena, who listened to us and accommodated us in every way (until the day before, I had some people in doubt due to health problems, and even then she was super, which is not a given). The wedding day was perfect and magical, from the ceremony to the aperitif to the lunch. All our guests complimented us on everything! We were happy and thrilled because everything was perfect! 12/11/2025: Excellent location, we had a family lunch and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was modern and sophisticated, with very large and comfortable tables, spotlessly clean rooms, and very kind and professional owners. Everyone ate well, and I can confirm, as shown in the photos, that the bruschetta with avocado and marinated anchovies was exquisite, and the meatballs and sautéed cabbage were absolutely delicious.

24/11/2025: The atmosphere was well-attended (no drunk people, etc.) The waiters were extremely patient and kind... and then the piadina was FABULOUS: I had it with a hamburger and cheese... truly TOP quality. Last but not least, the price was super affordable and the location was strategic (near the Lima stop on the red line).

08/10/2025: Unfortunately, after reading only five-star reviews, my professional bias could no longer be controlled, and I decided to write. It's a shame because it's a family-run trattoria (you can tell by the shouting between the dining room and kitchen during service), thus potentially a healthy embodiment of tradition and authenticity—two qualities you unfortunately won't find here. Perhaps the nervousness during service (20 covers) has lowered the quality over time, or at least the desire to do it well. Because the food is truly unjudgeable. The details this time are pointless. Because completely screwing up a fried dish can happen, making a watery ragout is fine, but it's more the knowledge that everything you order here will be made with little enthusiasm that will keep you from coming back.

The pizzas are very large, with good toppings and an incredibly wide selection, so there's truly something for everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful, always available and ready to offer advice without being intrusive. The place is clean and welcoming, and has parking, which makes everything even more convenient. We've only tried the pizzeria, but we're eager to return and try the restaurant option. And for those looking for good value... the prices are excellent! In short, a place to eat well without surprises, with plenty of variety and a warm welcome. We'll definitely be back! 🍕

02/12/2025: Nothing to complain about about the quality of the desserts, which are excellent. The service leaves much to be desired. It's already impossible to get a coffee before 7 p.m. because the machine has already been washed, and it's obvious they're in a hurry to close, even when it comes to serving people. Change the opening hours.
