However, you all have to wait together, because if there are four of you and one hasn't arrived when they seat you, they'll make you wait until they do. Understandable, so everything runs more smoothly inside.

14/05/2026: I went a couple of Sundays ago for a delicious pizza, but even more so for a plate of buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto that took me back to Campania. The anchovies on the pizza were delicious. The owner is discreet and patient, and I thanked him so much for welcoming me after hours and when he was about to close. Go try it.

07/06/2026: Let's start by saying that I'm sorry to write this kind of review. Onest is my favorite place for breakfast. I've been there many times, but today I was very disappointed. The service has completely deteriorated. We waited 40 minutes for an order that arrived fragmented and slow. I had to remind the staff several times about our orders. The croissants were very disappointing compared to usual (considering they're usually amazing). We ordered a toasted sandwich that, according to our request, should have been just cheese and ham. When it arrived, it also contained onions, an ingredient that the waiter hadn't asked for, let alone made clear when placing the order. Overall, a disappointing experience. If I hadn't known about the place beforehand, I definitely wouldn't have returned.

01/06/2026: Excellent sunday breakfast! The specialty coffee from Brazil was my favourite. The food is amazing and the service is good. We lucked out as we didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us. The pain au chocolate was dreamy!

11/05/2026: Food is 3 points! I also wanted to order a small cappuccino for €1.80, but they charged it at €3.50 because you will drink it in the room and not with you.

21/12/2025: I'd been wanting to go in for a while... Today, among other things, I'd promised myself I wouldn't eat meat, so I wasn't in the best position to test out this place that arose from the ashes of a butcher shop... The fact that homemade pastrami was on the menu convinced me to go in. The two of us ordered: pastrami, puntarelle salad, and onion soup. The pastrami was good, but I didn't like the combination of crème fraîche and fermented red cabbage it was served with. Personal taste, eh? The puntarelle were decent, but the onion soup, although served according to the rules, was sour and we sent it back to the kitchen. The owner apologized and offered us a portion of homemade apple pie, but the fact remains that the soup wasn't even worth serving because it had gone bad. It can happen, but if the dishes are tasted in the kitchen, at least they don't end up in the dining room. The wines were good. The service and atmosphere were simple but pleasant.

It's undeniable: the place has a strong, almost daring character—some might even say so—but it's precisely this distinct personality that, in my opinion, makes the difference in Milan's restaurant scene. It's not a place that tries to please everyone, and that's precisely its strength. Behind the bar and in the dining room, Giulia and Andrea's previous experience is clearly evident: there's a solid expertise in the restaurant business that's rarely found in similar contexts. The selection of dishes is original, carefully curated, and focused, far from the usual clichés, ranging from creative mondeghili to riso al salto, through fish and wild egg CBT with asparagus, melted butter, and Lodigiano. The gin list is a veritable manifesto: 150 labels speaks for itself and will satisfy even the most discerning enthusiast. Special mention goes to the homemade desserts: we finished the meal with a tarte tatin variation that was truly exquisite. If you're looking for an experience that goes beyond the usual aperitivo and want to discover a bistro with a distinct soul, stop by. It's a place that lets you discover it, one step at a time.

17/05/2026: We stumbled upon this small, tastefully and uniquely decorated bistro by chance. The atmosphere is warm and informal. Traditional Milanese dishes are revisited and made with select, local ingredients. Everything is excellent: from the modern potatoes and taleggio served with a fantastic lime mayonnaise, to the tomato and burrata tatin, the stir-fried rice and parmigiana, and finally the single-serving apple and cinnamon crumble served with vanilla ice cream. Excellent wines. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: I celebrated my birthday there, it was very good. Even though there were a lot of people, the staff was quick with their service. Around 10:00 PM, they put on music so you could sing and dance. I recommend it.

05/03/2026: My husband and I visited Milan for a long week end. We wanted to try a local cuisine, not the one on the high street but something small and family run. This little restaurant was located not far from the hotel in North Milan where we stayed. It had lots of seating. The menu had a good choice however it was all in italian. We both went for pizzas which were freshly made and very delish. I think the owners were Egyptian (correct me if I'm wrong), they were very welcoming and looked after us well. It was a lovely experience, easy to find place located on one of the main roads. Highly recommend.
