The quality of the food definitely exceeded our expectations. Perfect for what we were looking for. We'll be back...in fact, it's become a trusted go-to for us.

06/01/2026: Hands down the best gelato shop in the area. 100% recommended, the staff is really kind and helpful, the options are way more than enough there is no chance you won’t find one you’ll fancy and enjoy. On top of gelato, the shop also offers other products such as panettone and plenty more.

24/03/2026: Quick lunch during a break in a class, so I kept it light, everything was very good, and they were very kind.

12/03/2026: Thursday in March, the lunch menu was excellent, €15 including water and coffee. The place wasn't very crowded and was welcoming, with friendly staff. The gnocchi were delicious, although they could have used more speck. The vegetables and the gnocchi were good. A small plate of pastries was also very much appreciated with the coffee. A decent work break, I'll be back.

31/05/2026: A truly pleasant stay. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for reaching the main attractions. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional. The cleanliness of the property and the room was impeccable. We had a great time and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

04/05/2026: Great restaurant, a must try if you are in Milan. Easy to get there but expect some waiting time if you arrive around busy hours. Hardert to get table for 2+ people. But it is worth waiting! The pizzas we tried were amazing. Staff is nice and friendly. Authentic taste and good quality.

09/05/2026: Decent pizza, but decidedly overpriced for what's on offer. A medium Theresianer lager costs €8, with a €3 cover charge (which is ridiculous in a pizzeria, given that they don't serve bread). A modest-sized Margherita pizza can't be priced at €12, and the menu doesn't offer buffalo mozzarella as an alternative on any of the pizzas (personally, I find adding it during cooking a waste, so I much prefer a simple fiordilatte).

10/04/2026: We received friendly and prompt service. You can watch the pizza chef preparing the delicious pizza from above. The pizza, with its thin, crispy crust, was very tasty. We'll gladly come again. Thank you very much.

20/05/2026: I get a beef carpaccio with five very thin slices, and I point this out to the waiter, who promptly apologizes and admits his mistake, then brings me another four or five thicker ones. I go to the cashier: €47 for two, a bottle of water, a Margherita pizza, a carpaccio, a side dish with five artichoke slices, and two coffees. Shameful, I must delete it. I only appreciate the waiter's kindness.

13/04/2026: An authentic experience, just like at grandma's house Antica Trattoria Ambrosiana is the kind of place where you have to arrive with the right expectations to fully appreciate its charm. It's not a fancy restaurant, and you won't find meticulously crafted service: it's simply an old Milanese trattoria, authentic and genuine. The food: everything is excellent What really matters here is the food. Carefully prepared, tasty, and generous dishes that showcase true Milanese culinary tradition. Entering this place immediately feels like being among relatives. It's that Sunday afternoon feeling when your grandmother or mother invites you to the table: warm, welcoming, unfiltered and unpretentious. The service isn't polished, of course, but it's precisely this lack of affectation that makes the place extraordinarily authentic. Antica Trattoria Ambrosiana isn't for those seeking modernity or ostentatious elegance. It's for those who want to eat well, feel good, and feel at home. It's the real Milan, the kind you don't find in trendy clubs. And for that very reason, it's unmissable.

23/03/2026: Just one word...SPECTACULAR, a historic Milanese trattoria, expertly managed by the team of Giusi, Carlo, Costantino, and everyone else. Large and spacious rooms, simple and elegant furnishings, and nearby parking. The dishes are their strong point, deliciously cooked with simple and genuine ingredients, abundant and appetizing. The desserts are exquisite, along with the typical dishes like ribs, chicken, tripe, casuela, etc. The service is excellent, fast, and super friendly. The prices are excellent for the quality/price ratio. I would say 100% HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

28/04/2026: The food at this restaurant is good (only the pizza could be better), the staff is friendly, and they have THE BEST DESSERT IN THE WORLD: I'm referring to the puff pastry with Chantilly cream and berries. The real problem is the bare and vaguely depressing atmosphere. In Segrate, in particular, there's a clientele that's sensitive to beauty, so even a few small aesthetic changes could significantly change the perception of the restaurant. Repainting with a few colorful walls to add a little light and cheer, adding some decorative elements or furnishings, flowers, new curtains, lights, and/or tablecloths, and removing those large, awkward, 1960s-era coat hangers that tower over the empty walls. I'm not an architect; I'm just throwing out things I've noticed in other restaurants that...when you go there, you feel good just looking around! Despite the food, in fact, I often find myself saying to friends...no, come on, let's go somewhere else. Sorry, I hope this is constructive criticism.

17/05/2026: We came at 09:30, the space was completely empty but apparently everything upstairs (where it was calmer - quite loud party music) was reserved, so we had to sqeeze with 3 people on a table for 2. one hour later there was still no one sitting upstairs. The food was ok (taste) but way tooo expensive (20€ for a very small 9x9cm lasagna and some veggies) & unfortunately the guy with the two coloured hair was as unfriendly as possible. Wouldn’t come back mostly because of how he treated us and the unfair food prices.
