Onest In Milano

I regret not discovering Onest when I lived in the neighborhood. I make it a point to visit when I am back. Their coffee is consistently really, really good. That’s the most important part of course. As for things to eat — the chocolate + salt cookies are usually there, overlooked hiding in a jar behind the impressive pastry display, but truly it’s perfect with one of their coffees and you should try one. If the weather is good you can enjoy the sunlight in their little garden or veranda, and it makes for a lovely morning break. The baristas might look too-cool-for-you like one often finds in Milan coffee shops, but unlike other shops they turn out to be quite friendly and welcoming, not at all snobby.

The place is actually very nice, but the croissants are average and the cappuccino is a bit disappointing.

Onest was a wonderful discovery, located in a neighborhood that still retains a pleasant and quiet atmosphere compared to other areas of Milan. The location is beautiful, especially the internal veranda, which is meticulously designed and features very pleasant furnishings that create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the pastries is excellent, well-made and truly delicious. The coffee service is equally good. They also offer a good selection of wines. A place you'll gladly return to, both for the quality and the atmosphere. Reservations recommended.

Great availability and attentive service. A cuisine that experiments just enough to break the well-trodden path of traditional dishes. A wine selection carefully chosen to showcase small-scale producers.

A nice and particularly welcoming wine shop. Beware of the prices, which are absolutely NOT proportional to what's offered.

Good cinnamon rolls, but limited selection due to technical issues with the dough roller. Prices are slightly above average.

Best coffee in Milan!! Visited most often in Italy.
