Antica Trattoria Ambrosiana In Milano

Family atmosphere, typically Milanese cuisine. Excellent everything!

I have finally found a Milanese trattoria that matches my childhood memories. The environment is welcoming and exudes authenticity, the food is excellent and the owners do their work with that confidentiality and efficiency that has always characterized the Milanese at work. Today I treated myself, despite my diet, to some amazing spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli, a meatloaf like the one my auntie made (so fantastic) and amazing chicory as a side dish. I would have stayed longer but the lunch break had gone on too long and we had to run away. Well done guys, you gave me a gem on a day that didn't start very well. I had a very good time and will definitely return. What I regret is not being able to go to your place in the evening but it is also true that you are open seven days a week. P.S. the restaurant is located in zone 9 in Niguarda and reservations are required.

Magical place, people from other times, simple and delicious dishes!!!...I will definitely go back during my lunch break. Always book!!!!

Il Carlino e' un grande personaggio!

Una trattoria vera! Sembrava impossibile, e invece… primi sinceri (penne al ragù, gnocchi al pesto di rucola giustamente amari), secondi altrettanto (roast beef e cotoletta-con osso!), zucchine trifolate. Un po’ troppo unto, ma è un dettaglio. Il tutto, con acqua e caffè, per meno di 30€!

Deserves an award for true Italian cuisine!! Absolutely must try!!
