I ended up here somewhat by chance, but I had a great time. Service and atmosphere: I'll start by saying that I love environments that give me a sense of authenticity—if you're expecting something fancy, extraordinary plating, crystal glasses, and waiters in uniform, this isn't the place for you! (I, however, fell in love with the bearded old man watching TV in the corner as if he were at home...) Extraordinary food!

The service isn't polished, of course, but it's precisely this lack of affectation that makes the place extraordinarily authentic. Antica Trattoria Ambrosiana isn't for those seeking modernity or ostentatious elegance. It's for those who want to eat well, feel good, and feel at home. It's the real Milan, the kind you don't find in trendy clubs. And for that very reason, it's unmissable.

Just one word...SPECTACULAR, a historic Milanese trattoria, expertly managed by the team of Giusi, Carlo, Costantino, and everyone else. Large and spacious rooms, simple and elegant furnishings, and nearby parking. The dishes are their strong point, deliciously cooked with simple and genuine ingredients, abundant and appetizing. The desserts are exquisite, along with the typical dishes like ribs, chicken, tripe, casuela, etc. The service is excellent, fast, and super friendly. The prices are excellent for the quality/price ratio. I would say 100% HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A typical Milanese trattoria with over 130 years of history. An incredible place for this modern city, it takes us back in time and offers a unique experience. A simple, old-fashioned location with no frills; a very simple table setting: a placemat and paper napkin; service as expected, advising us on what to choose; and the food: simple dishes, things we might find at grandma's house, but here they evoke fond memories of times gone by and leave us feeling moved. Price? Affordable. I would definitely return.
