20/10/2025: 80's style trattoria, family atmosphere, a certainty

08/10/2025: Unfortunately, after reading only five-star reviews, my professional bias could no longer be controlled, and I decided to write. It's a shame because it's a family-run trattoria (you can tell by the shouting between the dining room and kitchen during service), thus potentially a healthy embodiment of tradition and authenticity—two qualities you unfortunately won't find here. Perhaps the nervousness during service (20 covers) has lowered the quality over time, or at least the desire to do it well. Because the food is truly unjudgeable. The details this time are pointless. Because completely screwing up a fried dish can happen, making a watery ragout is fine, but it's more the knowledge that everything you order here will be made with little enthusiasm that will keep you from coming back.

23/08/2025: A nice place in the center of town, with friendly and courteous bartenders. The aperitif is excellent: it's worth stopping by! They also offer a platter of cold cuts and cheese when you order a drink.

19/08/2025: We stopped for an aperitif before dinner... Spritz and Hugo were well made, and the appetizers that accompanied the aperitif were also excellent... Good service, although there was a few minutes of waiting due to the number of people present. The girls were super quick in cleaning tables and taking out orders... I recommend it.

14/10/2025: I come to GALET for the fantastic setting, completely immersed in greenery surrounded by colorful and fragrant plants, trees, and bushes. The atmosphere is incredibly sunny and positive, and you can really feel the energy of the entire staff in this splendid restaurant! But the photos and reviews speak for themselves: just a stone's throw from Milan and Segrate, I found valet parking until closing time, the staff was courteous, very polite, and helpful, always smiling—everyone, by the way, which is not a given... and the food was of the highest quality, the meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, the DRYAGED cuts I've tasted are something HEAVENLY, here I don't even bother paying attention to my wallet or watch! Among the CLASSIC dishes, the COTOLETTA and the RISOTTO WITH OSSO BUCO stand out 🤤

08/10/2025: Nice place with good music. Well-executed dishes and friendly faces. Fun atmosphere, but the music is too loud and the space is small. Decidedly poor service.

12/02/2025: Amazing food, great service and very good atmosphere (only downfall is there's not much background noise except a little tv). The staff is lovely and food comes very quickly. You can tell it's fresh and so much care has gone into it. When we come back to Milan, this place will be our first place to eat! (Pictures of Diavola pizza, Tagliatelle Al funghi, Vino rosso delta casa, Tiramisu and profiteroles).

11/09/2025: Dinner was great. We sat outside. Service was fast We ordered a warm seafood salad, spaghetti with lobster for two (50€). A bottle of white wine was recommended by the waiter, just great! I recommend visiting 👌🏻

20/07/2025: A historic, simple, and unpretentious restaurant serving excellent seafood. Frequented by locals and families, the staff are very friendly.

17/08/2025: It's a shame. We had a terrible dinner, the quality of the products was poor. The waiter was very nice, but even the salad was terrible.

17/07/2025: The Margarita and Burrata pizzas were delicious, especially the crust. My girlfriend's pizza was heart-shaped, which was very nice. We also enjoyed the draft beer and the house wine, which was more like a Federweißer. They charge €2 per person for the coperto. It seems to be under different ownership (in about a year), as the name has changed (see photo). Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

13/10/2025: My wife and I had lunch with an excellent Milanese risotto with ossobuco and aubergines.

11/10/2025: Pizzeria/restaurant for those with low expectations, good seafood menu, pleasantly thin and crispy pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven. Affordable prices, friendly staff, fast service.

01/10/2025: It's a place that makes you feel at home. Kindness, courtesy, and hospitality aren't random values, but rather, they're a part of the experience here. Customers are always welcome, even near closing time. The food is excellent. The portions are generous! Highly recommended!

17/10/2025: The view is truly amazing – no question! Unfortunately, that was the highlight. The service was barely present, even though we simply wanted to enjoy an aperitif with a view. The menu offers little choice and seems unimaginative, and the prices are significantly inflated. It's a shame, because this location could offer so much more. Unfortunately, we won't be returning – despite the beautiful view.

01/08/2025: Excellent place in the center, breakfast until late lunchtime, I recommend it to late risers, the croissants are always very fresh from good pastries, lots of choice, nice atmosphere and friendly, professional and attentive staff, the only downside is some disrespectful smoking customers, making it impossible to enjoy breakfast, or anything else, outside, if you don't smoke it's a real problem.

23/10/2025: Had dinner during the week, so it was a quiet place. Pleasant atmosphere, no cooking smells, no loud music that made it hard to talk, and very good pizza!

13/10/2025: Pizza was good, but unfriendly female waitress

16/10/2025: The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and we were even allowed to check in an hour early. A refrigerator and wardrobe were also available, which not every Holiday Inn offers. We had a smoking room on the smoking floor. This was perfect for us as smokers; non-smokers would be better off booking a different floor. There is a bus stop a 5-minute walk away (Cinisello Balsamo). You can reach it by going under a small tunnel. The Z222 bus takes you to a small train station (Sesto Maggio), about three stops away. The journey takes 5-20 minutes depending on traffic. From there, you can take the metro directly to the cathedral (about 20 minutes). Bus and metro tickets can be purchased at the kiosk at Sesto Maggio station. A three-day ticket costs €15.50 per person. Cigarette shops and gas stations in this area close at 7:00/7:30 PM.

13/10/2025: Aside from its remote location, the hotel is fine. However, its distance from the nearest train or metro meant we lost a lot on taxis. If we had added the daily taxi cost to the hotel's stay, we would have stayed in a better hotel closer to the center. The problem is that we didn't intentionally book there, as there's the same hotel nearby, but Booking.com manipulates the sites, and we didn't find out until we took a taxi there.

12/10/2025: Found by chance by a friend, very nice place with excellent food at reasonable prices. We'll be back.

08/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in the Navigli area. Small seating and a wide selection of wines. The restaurant places a strong emphasis on quality products and service. For example, the chips served with aperitifs aren't the usual pre-packaged ones, but rather freshly made. The same goes for the bread. The day was dedicated to Milanese cuisine, with an appetizer of nervetti (delicious, warm, and incredibly tender), mortadella, and homemade vegetables. The main course was Milanese risotto with ossobuco (masterful cooking, quality of meat, and the type of cut). The wine selection is appropriate for the restaurant and the cuisine. Recommended for the experience! The new location is even larger and can accommodate even larger tables.

17/06/2025: Very good pizza by the slice and during lunch break they also have a full menu for those who don't want pizza. Fast and precise service.
