10/06/2025: I am not exaggerating in saying that the pizza I ate at Vecchia Stazione in Binasco is one of the best I have ever tasted in Lombardy in the last seven years. I really invite you to try it: you will not regret it, I am absolutely sure of it.

02/06/2025: Last year I gave this place 5 stars — I was really trying to avoid writing this review, but after the last 4 times, all of which were disappointing, I can’t pretend anymore. This last experience was the final straw. The food was below average. I ordered a baby pizza for my son… but it came as a whole pizza, and they charged us for it. The last two times I ordered dessert, waited 20-30 minutes, only to be told the dessert was out — but they still charged it. The service was terrible, and the place wasn’t even full. Honestly, since Samuel left, the place has gone completely downhill.

26/06/2025: Visited for dinner. I was worried because there were not many people there compared to the surrounding restaurants, but all the dishes I ordered were delicious. However, the raw vegetables were not seasoned, probably to preserve the flavor of the ingredients, so you have to season them to your liking with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, or salt. The pasta and risotto are delicious.

18/05/2025: A small family business with a dedicated elderly grandpa as the boss, who brought us super delicious pizza. Only the tiramisu could have been better.

19/05/2025: Nice little place, but better inside than outside, especially if you are more than two. There were 4 of us at a mini table for two people, in fact, apart from the cutting board and the glasses, there was nothing left on the table and we had to find a way to put the wine in the flower box next to it or keep some plates on our laps 😅 not exactly ideal. We would have expected a larger table or some risers to put the plates on. The service is fresh, the mood is very chill and there are also board games available to play. We found the dishes (they are mostly from Puglia) not very authentic and very “Milanese”

27/03/2025: Refined and slightly radical chic place in the Via Padova area, Milan. Excellent selection of aperitifs, wines and soft drinks, refined dishes and an intimate setting. Perfect for a quiet, quality evening. Advised!

28/05/2025: Ambiente semplice ed accogliente, pranzo “di lavoro” di qualità e con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Siamo stati intrattenuti dalla titolare Elena e dal marito chef Igor che ci hanno raccontato della loro passione per questo lavoro bello e faticoso. Ho trovato geniale la presenza di forbicine su ogni tavolo per agevolare l’apertura delle confezioni di olio/aceto in mono porzione. Tornerò di certo per gustare il menù alla carta ed il tagliere di formaggi. Una nuova graditissima scoperta!

17/01/2025: The price quality of this place is truly unique considering the location in the center of Milan. The ambience and wine selection are also nice. Even the food is absolutely no exception. I highly recommend this wine shop that I have been frequenting for years now. The only consideration is that since it is small, you have to book.

11/12/2024: Nice intimate and discreet place to spend an evening talking and tasting good wine. We spent some moments accompanied by an excellent passito, because post dinner, but we will also try the full dinner. Definitely to return

25/06/2025: I am Italian but I live abroad, and every time I return to my city I try to enjoy the best. Too bad that at “La Storia” – an evocative name – the only historical thing left seems to be the idea of ​​service… now archaeological. The food? Average quality, nothing memorable. But the real sensory journey begins when you go to the bathroom: the floor is entirely decorated with a uniform patina of pee (which I assume is part of the decor), no toilet paper, no soap. A primordial experience. To make matters worse, free access for anyone: customers, passers-by, hikers and maybe even urban fauna. I wonder: if this is the hygiene standard of the public area, what care will be taken in the areas that customers do not see? Spoiler: I don't want to know. From a brand that aims to be a point of reference, you expect at least a decent bathroom and a minimum of sanitary rigor. As it is, “The Story” risks becoming a legend… of horror.

22/06/2025: Amazing! Had one of the best cakes of my life (pistachio), the olive foccacia and procciuto sandwich were also heavenly!
