21/11/2025: The Rigatoni that changed my life - I don't know where to begin. Perhaps from the moment I crossed the threshold of Bistrot della Pesa and felt an inexplicable energy in the air. Or perhaps from when the waiter, with an almost angelic stride, placed the work of art in front of me: rigatoni with tomato sauce. Yes, rigatoni with tomato sauce. And calling them "rigatoni" is an understatement: they were cylinders of perfection, likely sculpted by a Renaissance craftsman himself. And the tomato sauce? More than just sauce: it was liquid poetry, an ode to the sun, the very essence of the Mediterranean captured on a plate. At my first bite, I had a moment of inner silence. I think I saw the Duomo light up with an unusual glow, and for a moment, it seemed as if the Naviglio canal was flowing faster. Even my Apple Watch registered an unexpected emotional surge. Every forkful was a chapter in an epic novel. The tomato caressed the pasta like a painter blending red onto a canvas, and I, poor mortal, was just trying to live up to such culinary grace. If Dante had tried these rigatoni, he would have added a circle of paradise dedicated to pasta. The Bistrot della Pesa? A holy place. A temple. A carbohydrate cathedral. Rigatoni with tomato sauce? A sacrament. I still dream about them at night.

18/10/2025: We may have caught the restaurant on an off day. Unfortunately, it took nearly three hours for our antipasti and main courses to arrive. At one point, we even wondered if we had been forgotten—until we were asked if we wanted dessert, despite not having received our main courses yet. Given the price point, the experience was disappointing. I'm aware of several other places where we could have enjoyed a better meal, with faster service, at half the cost. (To mention that we had a big group booked in the hotel for several days)

The location is simple and stunning, surrounded by greenery and meticulously cared for down to the last detail. We felt welcomed right at home, in an elegant, warm, and welcoming environment. The owners, Matteo and Alberto, made the organization complete and enjoyable: professional, helpful, and pleasant, always ready to listen to our requests and propose optimal solutions. Their attentive yet unobtrusive presence made the journey to the big day smooth and worry-free. The cuisine was exceptional: rich and tasty dishes, abundant buffets, and great attention to guests with special dietary needs. Everyone complimented us! The rest of the staff was also attentive, helpful, and professional, ensuring that no guest was left without anything and that everything ran smoothly. We were delighted with our choice and will always cherish the memories of this day with gratitude. We will definitely return... for a family dinner and other important occasions!

05/10/2025: We went today for a family lunch. What can I say? The location is beautiful, very well-kept, and spacious enough for children. The service was impeccable, attentive, precise, and cheerful. The quality of the food: wow, can we say that? Everything was delicious and perfect, from appetizer to dessert. The wine selection perfectly matched the menu. We'll be back soon.
