26/03/2026: This place is a real gem in the Garibaldi area. The platters are exceptional, and the staff are young and friendly. The service is very good, and the place is very cute, although nothing too special. Highly recommended for an excellent, hearty aperitif.

08/03/2026: A little hidden from the main street, which is amazing as it is more local compared to the touristy spots. Bear in mind it is a little bit on the pricier side. The service is amazing, they guide you through their menu and their boards are absolutely insane. Can’t recommend this place enough!

08/04/2026: Pizza is volt the best but the Bolognese and sea food was good. The serving was really slow and the toilet is very old, but clean at least.

04/04/2026: A must-see spring stop with lunch at the outdoor tables. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the pasta dishes are made fresh, and it shows (in fact, that's why we keep coming back). Please never stop making them!

02/04/2026: A truly amazing aperitif! The food is wide and caters to all tastes, with both hot and cold dishes. It's been a long time since I've been back, but I have to say it's improved dramatically. I'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: A very rustic and welcoming place in the Lambrate area. We went to this little restaurant for a birthday and had a great time. We had pizzas and pasta dishes, and everyone was very happy with their choice. We tried a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, not a huge selection, but very good. To accompany it, they brought us a really good fried gnocco and grilled vegetables, which we weren't entirely satisfied with, perhaps because they weren't very fresh. The staff was very friendly, although perhaps they were too few to handle our large table, but they certainly did their best. The desserts weren't very well received, but the strawberries with ice cream were very good 🍨

11/03/2026: A trattoria worthy of its name. The host/owner is welcoming and knowledgeable about both the menu and wine recommendations. The high-quality products include excellent cured meats, homemade giardiniera and Borrettane onions, which you can taste and see even in the irregularly cut vegetables typical of home-made products. The first courses are high-quality, fresh pasta dishes are well-made and well-seasoned, and the second courses include excellent stews with polenta. The atmosphere is homey and the service is excellent. Highly recommended. Reservations are recommended, as they don't have many tables, so especially on holidays, you risk not getting a seat. Try it when the outdoor garden opens.

15/04/2026: Honestly food is not bad but relatively expensive when compared with other meals we had nearby Milan Central Station. Largest pain point is the attitude of waiters. Their attitude toward us is not friendly and seems they do not welcome us. I dont know the reason, or if I misunderstood something. Just a reference for tourist in case they concern about it

22/10/2025: What can I say: when you walk into a place and feel so at home that you joke and laugh with the owner as if you've known him for twenty years; when you sit down and feel pampered by bottles of fine wine, peruse the menu and find the tartare you love (classic or spicy); when you try the wine someone recommended to you and find it even better than you expected... and all this at a more than reasonable price. For me, as Dan Peterson said... number 1!

18/01/2026: I celebrated my 30th birthday at the agriturismo restaurant! What can I say, everything was wonderful! Starting with Liviana's support, who helped me organize the party flawlessly and was always so kind and available to accommodate my needs. I chose a buffet dinner with an evening in their jungle greenhouse, which I fell in love with at first sight. Everything was spectacular, from the food to the service (even the entire wait staff was always ready and willing to accommodate my every request—a huge round of applause goes to them too!), and the DJ set where all the guests let loose and had fun. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for making the celebration so beautiful and special!

06/04/2026: This was my first time at this purely vegan place because I was with vegan relatives and because I eat everything and enjoy trying new things. Friendly staff, a wide selection of croissants, filled with all sorts of flavors and plain. Various types of milk and a display case with savory products, also vegan. Truly excellent breakfast, generously filled croissants. We tried the hazelnut one (in my opinion, it may seem obvious, but it was delicious; unfortunately, not all hazelnut spreads are good and I'm often disappointed, but this one was very good), the pistachio one, and the cream one. Very good coffee, latte, cappuccino, and macchiato were equally good. I'll definitely be back if I have the opportunity to try the savory options. A very cute little place, with three tables inside, a bench/sofa, and a few stools; there are also tables outside. I highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable.

11/04/2026: Today, April 11th, I was chatting with a colleague and friend and we were talking about nice places to eat delicious food and grills. He told me about California Grill, and after arriving home from work, I decided to bring my family. It's a really nice, well-made place, with truly spot-on colors and choice of materials. The bathrooms are super clean, the entire place is clean and tastefully furnished. The staff is very attentive to customer needs, always smiling and ready to answer any questions. The food is excellent, and whatever you try is an explosion of flavors. If I really have to find a small flaw, it's the wait time after ordering is a little long. I will definitely be back, and if I have to give it a rating, it's very high. I recommend it to everyone and you'll be thrilled.

22/02/2026: This historic pizzeria in Milanino has recently been completely renovated. The menu has been updated with a wider variety of classic dishes. The pizza is very good, with a light, easy-to-digest dough. The selection ranges from classic to some unique pizzas. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant, the food is good, and the owners are friendly and helpful.

08/04/2026: Family lunch on a Sunday, 10 people. Food. The braised beef had too much fat, a shame we had to discard some. Excellent flavor. Mashed potatoes were not very hot and bland. I would have preferred polenta. The fresh pasta was excellent, both the lupini and porcini ones. Risotto was practically perfect. Gourmet portions. The wine list was extensive but expensive, with no problem with corkage fees. Service. Quick and impeccable in both manner and demeanor. If they had stopped by to collect the empties and offer full bottles, it would have been excellent. Same goes for the bread. Ambience. Ample and very close parking. The place is a bit overstocked, but it's clean and comfortable.

25/03/2026: ⸻ We dined at Osteria delle Rane Rosse and the experience was overall very pleasant. The food is of a good standard: carefully prepared dishes, well-balanced flavors, and a truly appreciable quality of ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive; the dedication of the waitress in the dining room deserves special mention. Despite being alone, she handled the service with great dedication and professionalism. The menu, while original, is perhaps a bit confusing: the particularly creative names of the dishes can make choosing a dish a little confusing. Overall, a restaurant definitely worth a visit and one we will gladly return to.
