02/04/2026: A truly amazing aperitif! The food is wide and caters to all tastes, with both hot and cold dishes. It's been a long time since I've been back, but I have to say it's improved dramatically. I'll definitely be back.

25/03/2026: Since the change of management, I've found the place to be excellent. The buffet is always full and the food is excellent. Excellent service and always courteous staff.

11/11/2025: Unfortunately, having good products isn't enough... I just got off a surreal phone call: I called on Tuesday, November 11th, to ask if they already had panettone. When they said yes, I asked if I could order one for Friday. I was told I had to go to the store because they didn't know when the next batch would be (?). I then asked if the panettone in the store would go bad by Friday, November 14th. When they said no, I asked if they could put aside one 750g panettone for Friday. I left my name and contact information, to which Miss Martina concluded by saying, "Well, Friday will come." I replied that I'll be there by Friday. She replied that the staff at the counter is changing (?????). I replied that it's enough to put a piece of paper with my name on the panettone... Her reaction was to say goodbye and hang up on me. I called her back, telling her that she can eat the panettone and that I'll tell Mr. Guido about her rudeness. Since I know that when Mr. Guido is in the shop, he's busy in the lab, I've chosen to write about my experience here. N.B.: Since the "lady" in the second call accused me of keeping her on the phone for 20 minutes, I have screenshots of the calls that I can show to the interested party: the first call lasted 2 minutes, the second 44 seconds, and the third, where I asked her name, lasted 9 seconds.

11/01/2026: Epic fail. Eating bad pasta in an Italian restaurant in Italy feels either like a "sin" or in this case a very deliberate choice. And I think it was deliberate because we felt something off since the first moment: the place was almost empty, all tourists and us and we were with friends from abroad. This is what happened. As an Italian living abroad and coming back for Christmas, I had one simple wish: a good pasta. Nothing fancy, nothing experimental. Just pasta. The pasta was bland. In Italy? Come on. Everything else followed suit, just as some other reviews have already noted. We confirm. It’s like they make it on purpose. The fish arrived still partially frozen, other dishes lacked salt, and the sauces tasted spoiled. Every course felt off. We appreciated the warm bread and the bruschetta (nice touch), but it only highlighted the poor quality of the dishes. With a bill over €40 per person (wine excluded), we can’t just stay silent... And I still can’t understand how something so basic can turn out so insipid in Italy. From the first minute, we had the feeling that, because we ordered “only” three dishes — even though they were among the most expensive on the menu — it was assumed we wouldn’t spend much. From then on, the care seemed to defrost at the same speed as the fish. The pressure to upsell and the subtle reactions about the fish of the day (off-menu prices) gave us a warning vibe. So we limited our order to avoid surprises, being almost the only customers that night, caught in a push to sell — not a good feeling in a fish restaurant. After that, the courses were so incredibly off that we skipped coffee and dessert and just wanted to go home. Either the many positive reviews come from non-Italian diners who have never had proper pasta, or we were exceptionally unlucky, or the restaurant just didn’t fancy us. When every dish shows the same issues (poorly defrosted fish, no seasoning, and off flavors) it’s hard to call it bad luck though. One starts calling it a pattern or something else... The staff was polite, and I write this with a smile, not anger. But mistakes this consistent across all courses are impossible to ignore. We endured the half-hearted (and half-defrosted) appetizer, but the main courses left us at a loss for words. A deeply disappointing and, honestly, sa experience because we love these kind of restaurants, and since we are your neighbors (though you might have thought we were tourists) we thought we would go back. Considering the inexplicable 4.3 rating, we felt safe… until the first bite. Epic fail. And if it’s because we were not welcomed: well, at least now we know… message received.

23/12/2025: Very bad restaurant ! Run away. We took a fried steak for 25euros without any salad or fries, then fries were extra for 7euros. Sea food pasta were also without shrimps and enough sea food and it’s a expensive for the quality ! There is a near restaurant called THE KITCHEN which is not far from that one with excellent prices ! Very very very bad experience and the smell is so bad in the restaurant.

20/04/2026: The absolute best among the world's department stores, better than Galeries Lafayette, Harrods, the prices are outrageous, yes the quality of Made in Italy is ok, but you can only look and leave.

20/04/2026: If you’re around the Duomo, Rinascente Milano Duomo is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. They carry a wide range of well-known brands, and it’s easy to browse and compare products in person. The selection feels highly curated, with many items reflecting what’s currently trending globally rather than just standard retail options. Depending on the timing, there are also exhibitions and special projects. During Milan Fashion Week, they showcased 11 international brands, including a K-beauty brand, Purepeak, which introduced the concept of wearable beauty something quite interesting to experience in person. It’s also a great place to stop by if you’re traveling or looking for a gift. You’ll find pieces that feel more unique and considered, rather than typical souvenirs. If you’re visiting the Duomo, don’t just pass by it’s absolutely worth stepping in and taking your time here.

17/04/2026: The intimate venue is located in a somewhat secluded area, far from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife. Those who love good music will instantly fall in love with the atmosphere: the ceiling and walls are covered with images of rock and jazz greats. The dinner options are varied and affordable; the list of suppliers at the beginning of the menu is striking, as is the abundance of horse meat dishes, which are also excellent. The beers are mostly IPAs and ales, plus a pilsner, and each is accompanied by a detailed description. The only negative aspect of an otherwise five-star experience, which will certainly not preclude my return, is the smell of fried food inside the venue (predictable, given its size), which permeates everyone's clothes.

10/01/2026: If you order with Deliveroo, you're probably second-rate. Ordered pizza at 6:15 PM, still undelivered at 8:45 PM. 3 riders sent away. On the phone, they were told they also have their own riders, and they need to rethink their organizational and order-queue management methods.

04/01/2026: Very friendly staff, delicious and easy-to-digest pizza. I celebrated my 30th birthday here, and all my friends were very happy and satisfied. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. I once again thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, especially the owner.

13/04/2026: A retro restaurant (luckily they still exist) where you can feel at home, the food is good, and it's very clean. Perfect for functions and family lunches or dinners. The owner, along with her brother, is a large family of restaurateurs with 80 years of experience. Their kindness and experience make you feel at home. They're very kind and full of family memories of times gone by that make you long for the good old days when everything was simpler and more beautiful, where working life and commitment had a purpose. Very good, very friendly, and an excellent cook. Thank you.
