Truly authentic cuisine, excellent raw materials and really tasty

A place frozen in time, traditional food, simple but welcoming service, and a family atmosphere.

Having to have lunch for two, given the late hour when most restaurants were already closing, after a careful selection, my instinct led me to choose this typical Milanese trattoria, located a couple of kilometers from the central station. We were greeted by the owner and waiter with great kindness and friendliness in a typical, minimalist, vintage restaurant, very tidy and welcoming. We tried the Milanese-style tripe and Venetian-style liver as the dish of the day, which I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent preparation and delicate flavors. For dessert, they recommended their homemade tiramisu, which I found delicious with all its ingredients, including the coffee-soaked ladyfingers, which almost no one uses anymore. The lunch price was reasonable, and I will return on a Thursday when they prepare the Milanese-style risotto with ossobuco. Recommended place.

This place should be taken for what it is. The staff is very friendly, but it's a bit confusing and chaotic. The place isn't very hygienic, it's crowded, and the food is of decent quality. Your clothes smell bad once you leave. Nice selection of desserts, all delicious. Anyway, I'll try it again and see if it gets better during the week when it's less crowded!

Excellent trattoria with a wide selection of first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts. The cuisine and prices are (unfortunately) virtually unheard of anymore. Perfect for a lunch with friends.

I rediscovered this trattoria after many years of not being there, and everything was as it once was. My wife and I ate wonderfully. The pasta and beans were superb, as were the simple lemon scallops with their homemade mashed potatoes. The atmosphere was absolutely rustic, but that's just what I needed. The prices were very reasonable, and reservations were required as the restaurant is always busy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it made me laugh to hear the master yelling from the kitchen. 😍
