08/12/2025: Dinner a few weeks ago with friends. I chose the classic: risotto with ossobuco. The risotto was perfectly cooked, but unfortunately the meat was a bit tough and sinewy. I've had better.

18/11/2025: I've been going to this restaurant with my wife and friends for years now. It's a family-friendly place, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of Ornella and her husband Carlo. All the dishes are delicious, the risottos are exceptional (the one with red onion and crescenza is sublime), and the homemade desserts are delicious. Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to eat well without spending a lot.

12/03/2026: I had the most delicious raw oysters of my life. There was a photo of seafood risotto in a review from six years ago, but it doesn't seem to be on the menu. They specially made it for me at a very reasonable price. They are kind and wonderful people.

22/02/2026: I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! Almost everything on the menu can be ordered gluten-free. The pizza is delicious. I often got one there during my semester abroad. During the week, there is also a lunch menu that is very reasonably priced. If you're visiting Milan and looking for good gluten-free food, be sure to stop by!

20/02/2026: After a year of regular patronage and promoting the restaurant to numerous colleagues, Osteria di Civesio has lost a loyal customer. Actually, two or more. I found the manager's welcome completely inadequate: arguing over a diner's slightly late arrival, as announced, with inappropriate comments about closing time and the need to rotate tables—despite the dining room being half-empty—is unacceptable. Because of this attitude, the third guest chose not to eat and will no longer frequent the restaurant, where he had previously brought his family, again at my suggestion. I felt deeply embarrassed in front of the colleague to whom I had warmly recommended the place. Unfortunately, this isn't the first instance of poor courtesy and unnecessary remarks about punctuality I've received during the reservation process. Professionalism is measured by respect for the regular customer: chapter closed. This was clearly the manager's wish, perhaps stemming from when I asked to change a table near the bathroom window due to the unpleasant odors emanating from it.

02/03/2026: A truly enjoyable evening. We had a really good bottle of wine, as well as the platters. We left feeling very satisfied with our aperitivo. For €15 each, we left happy.

21/12/2025: First experience, fantastic wines, very friendly and knowledgeable owner on wines, the only flaw is the pizzoccheri (they taste really like nothing) and the desserts (they should warn you when they are semifreddo) we will definitely be back.

09/11/2025: Highly recommended! The restaurant is meticulously maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, and you can taste the top-quality ingredients! I loved everything (the four-course autumn menu), but I must say I was truly amazed and entertained by the appetizer, where you could build your own dish with the ingredients brought to the table. This made the experience fun and playful. As an omnivore, I must add that some of the pairings were a pleasant surprise, and this restaurant really makes you appreciate the all-vegetarian dishes. Congratulations!

28/01/2026: Lunch booked through Wonderbox and a truly positive experience. A well-kept and welcoming place, with extremely friendly staff and a very helpful owner, who carefully explained the gift package to us. The burger was excellent, and the amber beer (a new offering) was truly delicious. We arrived quite late, almost at closing time, but we were greeted with great warmth and treated as if we'd arrived in full service. We were probably among the last to leave, but the attention and kindness were never lacking. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back.

20/03/2026: Nice place. With the new management, I've seen that they've increased the types of cigarettes, there's much more choice, and they even have e-cigarettes. They also offer scratch cards, lottery, and SuperEnalotto. Excellent place to go!

Even tho they maked a little mistake by given us the toast avocado instead of the toast bacon we still enjoyed it. They apologized immediately so everything was fine. 16/01/2026: This restaurant is a pleasant confirmation! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. For starters, my wife and I chose an artichoke salad...delicious! For our main course, a sliced ​​Fassona beef steak...truly exceptional, it melted in the mouth! All washed down with an excellent Chianti. To finish, a tiramisu and a complimentary digestif. We truly had a wonderful evening. As soon as the weather permits, we'll return with friends to the charming outdoor terrace in Piazza Borromeo (truly stunning at night with the lights) for the exclusive use of the restaurant.

27/11/2025: One of the best AYCE restaurants I've ever eaten at! The fish is incredibly fresh, the dishes are thoughtful, and the menu is varied. The owner and staff are always extremely kind, friendly, and smiling. Great experience. Update: I'm updating my review because the sushi has recently improved significantly, with the menu being enriched with innovative, cutting-edge dishes. This has been my go-to sushi spot for two years now!

26/02/2026: This is an excellent little spot. I felt like I stepped into an Italian kitchen to have a home cooked meal better than any home cooked meal this American has ever had. Service was friendly and delightful, and the pistachio pasta was decadent. Best cannoli I’ve ever had for dessert.
