From the warm welcome to the attentive service, every detail was taken care of with passion. We ate divinely: dishes rich in flavor, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and impeccable presentation. 26/09/2025: Atmosphere: 8/10 Backdoor 43 is one of Milan’s most unusual concepts. You get your own private room for an hour, with full control over the music and a setup that feels like a tiny living room surrounded by whiskey bottles. The intimacy can be a bit awkward for introverts since the bartender is part of your experience the entire time, so the usual social energy of a bar isn’t really present. The whole room functions as the backbar, and seating is fully private. Located along the canal next to MAG Café, the setting outside is vibrant and lively. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: BananaVardier The menu is very creative in design with a broad selection. Drinks are good in flavor and balance. Presentation is basic overall, with average glassware, simple garnishes, and straightforward ice. Coasters are nice. Service: 9/10 Service is essentially one-to-one with your personal bartender, making it extremely attentive. Water is provided on arrival. The bartender is both professional and very friendly. Reservations are mandatory, and pricing is average.

14/11/2025: 11:25 AM Delicious brioche. Excellent pastries. The coffee is also good (€1.50). 3:25 AM I confirm the brioche's deliciousness. It's nice to have a proper filling. The cream is very good. Wide selection of brioches. The one I had with zabaglione cream was very good. Excellent pastries. Prices are high (like Marchesi in the Galleria), but that's okay every now and then.

13/12/2025: Aside from the exact same menu for ages, we had booked for three and they gave us a small table right next to the door that barely fit two people. So, we were forced to leave and they didn't even apologize. Arrogant and unbearable. Never again.

11/12/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Finally, a pizza in Milan that's not the overpriced Neapolitan one or the usual low-quality ones! We ordered takeout and were extremely satisfied: fresh ingredients, really good dough, and super fast service. A discovery we'd been missing in the area; since we discovered it, we haven't ordered anything else!

02/12/2025: Still a positive experience, even after a while. Very good, carefully prepared dishes and generous portions. Fast service despite the crowds. The place is welcoming, though a bit crowded. Will definitely return.

29/11/2025: In a well-stocked restaurant I don't expect mixed fried fish that tastes of used oil and is soft, in my opinion unpresentable. I hope it was an oversight and in any case this review is not intended to be polemical but only to give some ideas for improvement.

13/12/2025: Such a lovely group of people! We had Thomas and Paolo serve us and they are delightful. Amazing champagne and the gelato and champagne glass is delicious - I recommend having lemon gelato with that.
