23/09/2025: We celebrated a friend's dinner at this place, near the university. The appetizer was insubstantial—literally, two salted peanuts and some potato chips. We asked if there was anything else to make it more substantial, but it wasn't possible. So we were served two first courses without a choice: inedible orecchiette with corn from Bonduelle cans and two sliced ​​tomatoes, and a bland ricotta and pepper pasta. Both courses lacked salt and oil. We didn't even have the chance to share the two courses because, according to the owner, "he didn't have enough dishes," forcing us to choose one first course or the other. The owner seemed arrogant and unresponsive to our simple requests, which I believe to be the basis. Not recommended

23/07/2025: Worst aperitivo in Milan, if you can call it that. I've never seen anything like it. The owner and waiter were incredibly rude, the sandwiches were unimaginable, and above all, the service was rude and overrated for the location, being behind the Duomo. The waiter was very rude and rude; when I asked for a toasted sandwich, he told me the kitchen was closed (obviously completely false). Worst golden hour experience in downtown Milan. It will never happen again, especially not at this place.

06/07/2025: Worst bar in Navigli, horrible service, three cups were dirty (with visible food remains and spotting) and waiters responded to the issue with attitude and disrespect. The servers were very unsure and often ignored our requests. We requested for LESS alcohol in a drink and they said no (without even saying why) We also requested more sugar in another drink, they also said no. I also took a tonic (without gin) and they made me pay the price of a normal gin tonic (there was no gin, why am i paying for it???????)Honestly not worth the trouble of dealing with the bad service and attitude from the servers, head to the closer bars instead.

24/01/2025: Great atmosphere and great cocktails. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, it closed on 01/24/2025.

12/01/2025: Questo non é fare ristorazione. Vai da Peck una domenica. “Siamo nel tempio della gastronomia” dico agli amici rassicurandoli che il gioco ( $$$$$$ …la spesa!) varrà la candela. Entriamo: il locale non trasmette buone emozioni né si avverte il calore aspettato. Un cameriere ci intercetta quando ormai siamo arrivati al banco gastronomia. Il locale è semivuoto ( 4 ragazzi impellicciati nei pressi dell’ingresso e un tavolo da 4 nella sala). Ci sediamo. L’acqua è già sul tavolo (?!) …continuano le sensazioni già percepite in ingresso. Chiediamo di voler consumare un aperitivo e invitiamo la cameriera un po’ “svogliata” e poco coinvolgente a farci presente le possibilità offerte. Si consideri che il menù ha pochissimi piatti e poca varietà. Non vi sono indicazioni per stuzzichini da aperitivo (ad esempio tagliere di affettati, formaggi, etc.). Chiediamo un tagliere misto per 4, senza ahimè chiedere di specificare il contenuto ed il costo, e 4 calici fi franciacorta. Ci portano il tagliere con affettati, formaggi, una coppetta di insalata russa, una con confettura di fichi, una con 4 carciofini e un vassoietto con alici e burro. Presentazione molto misera e triste. Il Franciacorta è passabile ma non viene affatto presentato nè esibita la bottiglia. Tutto insomma ammantato da ordinarietà e anonimato; siamo nel Tempio della gastronomia e nel tempio è obbligo celebrare ed attenersi a una ritualità. Da Peck a City Life questo non succede. Il vuoto dietro tutto. Esperienza molto sterile che non lascia nessuna sensazione da ricordare. Alla cassa infine di ricordano di essere il Tempio della Gastronomia ( o averne la nomea!!) e si scopre uno scontrìno dettagliato molto meglio del menù…addirittura con i prezzi e con il coperto ( si!! Il coperto anche per l’aperitivo). Lasciate perdere … non è nemmeno fico!!

07/12/2025: €4.50 for a coffee, in a place that absolutely doesn't justify this price (and the menu even had a different price). A simple bar, on a side street (as if it were in Piazza Duomo), with ABSURD prices. Even for an aperitivo, a spritz was €10, and not even two chips on the side. Definitely avoid this place!

07/12/2025: We were with two small children and simply wanted to sit down to have something to drink or eat, but we were not allowed to sit in the heated seating area even though all the tables were empty. The Indian guy’s attitude was very arrogant. We decided to leave because we felt offended.

11/10/2025: When you want to try a Neapolitan pizzeria and get hurt... The only thing Neapolitan about it is the name. I won't comment, but I'll post a photo. We're still looking for the shavings of Parmesan on the Regina pizza and the chips surrounded by salt; inedible.

21/09/2025: You can't order two pizzas at 8:50 AM and arrive at 10:30 PM without receiving anything. I should point out that the app gave the delivery time as 9:30 PM. Called twice, and they made excuses twice. Lost customers. Crazy.

29/11/2025: Last night I had a drink at this Grand Café overlooking Milan Cathedral. We were comfortable and the atmosphere was great. We were already looking at the dinner menu for a possible dinner the next day. It probably won't happen. For one large, poorly composed cocktail and one hot chocolate, I paid €46, with the staff automatically adding a 10% tip without our approval. When I pointed this out, they laughed, and I was asked to pay immediately. I ended up paying €51 for two drinks. Outrageous! Again, this Grand Café is in a nice location, but there are plenty of other nice restaurants with affordable drinks. Quickly forgotten, but be careful before you throw money around here. Drinks are outrageously expensive!

12/10/2025: The service was very friendly, and they prepared our iced coffee without any problems. Delicious toast for breakfast. It was great for me.

08/09/2025: awful. we came here for lunch, service was unfriendly and even hostile at times. we ordered 3 sandwiches which took about 30 minutes to come out (the sandwiches were dry and not tasty), ate our food in 10 minutes and were asked to leave as they wanted to close our table (even though there were plenty of empty tables there). would absolutely not recommend, go elsewhere.

12/10/2025: Extremely high prices for the quality and quantity of food served. Truly awful. Arrogant staff; you go out for some fresh air and a cigarette, and to get back to your table you have to argue with the bouncers. When the room turns into a "dance" at a certain hour, it feels like being crammed into a cargo container. I'd stay away.

23/07/2025: Like many reviews on here, we got took by the offers at the table. It is a tourist trap and like others on here took the L offered. But our coke was like 4 cokes normally at $3.50€ each so the $17€ is ok if you can drink 4 cokes…lol. Food was very good (2/3 as mine was ok) but also bit on the add ons offered, another $32€ which isn’t really worth it. And the location was great on the patio looking at a 600 year old castle. If you stay at a regular drink and don’t add garlic toast and cheese the price is the same. Be aware of the upgrades they offer and lunch will be a normal price and of good quality.

23/07/2025: Another sad case of getting fooled for not reading the reviews first. A smooth talking waiter lured us to sit at one of the caffe tables. My wife said she wanted an ice cream. He directed her to a window where the ice creams - and the prices - were displayed. She ordered a pistachio ice cream listed at 8 Euro. ( a bit expensive, we thought , but we wanted to treat her) When the bill came, we were charged … 17 Euros. We asked the waiter and he said that 8 euros was the price if we had ordered at the window. As we ordered from him there was another price in another book ( that he told us we should have asked for ???) We travelled to Bolzano and to Merano and never had any such cheap trick pulled on us in any restaurant. For a few extra Euros, do the Dante cafe realize they give a bad name to an entire industry in a certain country ? And the worst of it, they carry the name of the greatest Italian poet. They should change their name to cafe Zanni in order to match their practices.

14/09/2025: I give two stars for the quantity on the cutting board, the quality is fine... there was a suspicious white stain floating in the cocktail, I didn't drink it but I hope it was spit.

05/11/2025: Maybe 50 years ago it was a welcoming place. Today it is neglected and two teas with 4 shortbreads cost 14 euros. Stay away.

07/06/2025: Nice, historic bar, in a less touristy corner of the square, ugly rotisserie, croissants 6/10. Mediocre welcome, unnecessarily high costs for a canned estathe €4.50
