17/06/2025: Beggars and starving, after having made me pay 50 cents for a glass of water without it being on the menu (illegal in Italy) they even greeted me with a hello and a mocking smile after I left.

13/06/2025: Situato all'uscita del percorso della pinacoteca. Mi avvicino alla cassa e vengo aggredita verbalmente dalla cassiera che mi dice che loro hanno servizio al tavolo. Mi spiazza perchè' non mi ero posta il problema. Mi vede un addetto alla sala, che si trovava di fianco a me , e gentilmente mi dice: lei può andare dove vuole. Mi metto al banco, attendo quanto ordinato. Arriva altra gente e per educazione mi sposto, verso l'angolo del bancone. Vedo che al di fuori del luogo dove le persone mangiano ci sono tavolini vuoti, davanti a una panca , contro parete. Allora prendo tazza e piattino e cercando di non sporcare mi appoggio al tavolino, ci sarei stata 2 minuti senza togliere il posto a nessuno. Dopo 1 minuto vengo raggiunta da un cameriere che mi invita ad alzarmi perché io avevo pagato la consumazione al banco e non seduta. Trovo vergognoso questo trattamento . Tra l'altro il bar non offre neanche la toilette, perché a richiesta ti inviano fuori dove vanno tutti, anche chi entra dall'esterno dal cortile e non visita la pinacoteca. Praticamente quasi una toilette pubblica. Ritengo che questo comportamento strida con la cultura di cui respira l'aria. La cultura deve dissociarsi da questo finto lusso e dalla cafoneria.

08/11/2025: Extremely negative experience I worked at this company from November 21, 2023, to March 2, 2024, and unfortunately, I must say it was my worst work experience in Milan. During that time, I encountered a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and respect, both towards employees and customers. Despite my constant efforts, I did not receive the wages I was owed. During my experience, I witnessed numerous cases of other former employees and service providers who showed up at work demanding what they were owed, only to receive aggressive responses and inappropriate comments from the owner, Vittorio Gucci. I share my experience as a form of protection and awareness for other professionals, in the hope that situations like this will not happen again and that the importance of respect and fairness in employment relationships will be recognized. Extremely negative experience I worked at this company from 21/11/2023 to 02/03/2024, and unfortunately, I have to say it was the worst work experience I've had in Milan. During that time, I witnessed a complete lack of professionalism, seriousness, and respect — both towards employees and clients. Despite my consistent effort and dedication, I was not paid the wages I was owed. Throughout my experience, I saw several former employees and service providers come to the workplace to claim what they were rightfully due, only to be met with aggressive responses and inappropriate comments from the owner, Vittorio Gucci. I'm sharing my experience as a way to protect and inform other professionals, in the hope that situations like this don't happen again, and that respect and fairness in the workplace are upheld.

07/12/2025: There's a Milan to drink and a Milan to vomit. Courtesy never received, brioche as hard as marble, a roof that hasn't been cleaned since the Sforza era (a finger's breadth of pigeon droppings for the joy of the transparency of the glass), an open-plan sandwich shop between two air conditioning units, upright refrigerators used as coat hangers by the staff present, a ruined MDF floor that Beirut had to move, filthy filth at the bases of the tables, coffee splatters on the refrigerator to remind us of the importance of pop art, boxes stacked visibly everywhere. Post-tender verification, does it exist?

25/11/2025: There is a QR code menu at the entrance where you can check the prices. I think that i paid 1.5€ for a cappuccino and it was pretty good considering the price and location.

25/11/2025: My review is only for the service. 40 minutes for two piadinas, even if ordered at 12:50, isn't possible.

23/10/2025: I ordered, being the only customer. They only started preparing the food after 15. I went to see what was going on because the food wasn't ready. That scoundrel who was preparing it made offensive signs to me. I called him out, he was afraid to come out of that kitchen. Bad food, personally we don't talk anymore 0.

14/08/2025: Il City Cafe si trova alla fine di via Dante. Non è molto grande ma si trova sulla strada pedonale. Questo piccolo ristorante ha prezzi accessibili e offre paninetti molto italiani! È anche possibile ordinare piatti di carne o pesce. Per dessert si può ovviamente prendere gelato o cappuccino!!

06/12/2025: The attendant doesn't understand Italian. I had to ask four times for a croissant, and I almost missed my train. What a shame.

16/11/2025: Great spot for a quick local breakfast. Excellent coffee, tasty homemade stuffed focaccia (mortadella, ham, pork neck), and also sweet pastries. The staff were kind and smiling, and we felt warmly welcomed. We definitely recommend it.

14/10/2025: My boyfriend and i went there for what was supposed to be a quick dinner.. we ended up leaving the place 2 hours after we had arrived.. it took them 30 minutes to take our order.. we had an appetiser each and a main course it was absurd the amount of time we had to wait for our plates.. the hosts are nice but they are suuuper slow. Payment in card is not accepted.

08/08/2025: Today we went here to try this restaurant. A TERRIBLE experience! AWFUL WAITERS! When the roll arrived, it was floating in freshly cut oil, and I immediately reported it without even eating it. The response from the waitress or the owner was, "It's really like that, put a tissue underneath if you want." You can't help but be annoyed. I've been working in the restaurant business for over 10 years, and unfortunately, that's not a proper response, nor is it a proper dish! You can tell it was fried again (I repeat, I know because I worked there too). DON'T DO THIS JOB IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT COMPLAINTS OR CRITICISM! You're rude!!! You've made people lose their desire to eat and enjoy the dishes you make! An experience to forget, never to be repeated! AND ALSO, YOU CAN'T PAY BY CARD, CASH ONLY? Why?

14/12/2025: The coffee and croissant we tried were delicious, and the tiramisu was something completely different in the best way. A special thanks to Mario for his kindness and for making everything so easy. Highly recommended.

11/12/2025: The food is terrible, not to mention expensive and rude staff. If you go to the other side of the station you'll find better options. Prices are still high, but the quality is definitely better.

09/10/2025: Terrible service. At 6:57 PM, I sat down at the bar and didn't see any staff at the counter for 15 minutes. The tables were all dirty, and I was waiting at my table to be served. I approached the counter and there was no one there, but I saw them behind it, chatting among themselves. I'm sorry, but this bar will never see me again. My money will be given to another bar.

08/10/2025: A guy named Roberto served me. Very nice and kind, a bubble tea and coffee wizard. If he's not permanently hired, you should get one right away!
