03/08/2025: The business lunches offered by ContadiNostrano are excellent value. I go there very often and have always had a great experience. I've also had the opportunity to try the pizzas, and I must say I enjoyed them as well. The only downside to the atmosphere is that it leaves a smell on your clothes that can be noticed even after you've left the place for a few hours. Personally, I don't find this a limiting factor (also because, being a pizzeria, I think it's normal for clothes to pick up the typical pizza smell if you eat inside).

The owner was rude, haughty, unpleasant, and surly. "Don't order me five different first courses because I won't make them for you," I thought, "so don't put them on the menu." My father asked what kind of side dishes they had, and he only listed jarred stuff or frozen potatoes. We asked for other side dishes, and the owner politely replied that maybe we didn't understand Italian, chuckling, probably just feeling friendly. Aside from the terrible impression I made on my relatives by putting in a good word for this place, they'll definitely never see me again, and I will strongly advise anyone against going, not so much for the food—the food is decent (during the week)—but for the owner's arrogance and rudeness. 06/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating and drinking at this restaurant for four years running. Claudio and his wife Elena love their work so much that you can taste it in every single course and every sip of wine. Fabulous ingredients, a unique wine cellar, incredible hospitality... I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that Hostaria del Teatro is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at in my life! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

11/10/2025: It's okay, but nothing special. The food is rather simple and didn't live up to our expectations. We were particularly disappointed with the maltagliati with sausage and pumpkin, as there wasn't a single (!) piece of pumpkin in the sauce, and you couldn't even taste pumpkin in the meager sauce. The tagliata was good, the meat perfectly cooked, but the bed of "radicchio and lettuce" turned out to be a strip of endive and about half a leaf of sliced ​​radicchio. It didn't need to be mentioned separately and first. The bruschetta was good, and the pork cheeks were okay.

We loved everything... we had the filled caramels (very intense flavor but delicious), a picanha that was exceptional, and the baked potatoes, also delicious. The only thing we weren't convinced by were the maltagliati, which we found a bit bland, but otherwise we were really satisfied because we ate very well.

06/07/2025: Excellent food, generous portions, unique plating, modern and welcoming interior, suggestive exterior with waterfall. Too bad I hadn't read anywhere that they didn't do pizza for lunch 😔. But I'll definitely go back one evening to try that too 😉. I think they need a children's menu because several dishes were left half-cooked and seeing so much food thrown away was a shame. The carbonara pasta had a lot of pepper even though it was ordered by a child, which is also why I can't give 5 stars.
