02/05/2026: I found this place by chance, but I'll definitely be back 😋😋😋 Exceptional tigelle and fried gnocco, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, accompanied by simple and generous cured meats with delicious sauces, cheeses, and finally Nutella and jam. 22/10/2025: Every time I visit Albareto, a stop at Bar Il Cyclone is a must. Impeccable service, knowledgeable staff, and a very friendly, kind, and smiling owner. Very good beer, and their prosciutto sandwich (along with other dishes) is a must-try. AMAZING

25/04/2026: The best frog risotto I've ever eaten. And the fried catfish and eel are also top notch! This restaurant is simply a temple of traditional cuisine from the upper Mantua area. The only flaw is the dim, cold lighting, which could easily be fixed. Everything else was excellent! The waiters were also truly kind and friendly.

The helpful and pleasant staff always make you feel at home. The only problem is the limited space that doesn't allow for many seats. Are you opening a restaurant?

28/03/2026: I stayed at La Cascina last night and I must say it was a truly positive experience. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the entrance, surrounded by beautiful greenery that immediately conveyed a sense of tranquility. After a long journey, I also greatly appreciated the convenience of the parking: I was able to leave my car right in front of the building without any problems. The rooms were spotless and the bed was truly comfortable, perfect for relaxing and recharging my batteries. The location is also strategic: shopping centers, supermarkets, and fast food outlets are nearby, making everything very convenient. A big plus goes to the host, Marise, for her professionalism, helpfulness, and flexibility. I really appreciated the fact that she allowed me to use the restrooms even after checking out, a gesture that is not at all expected. The value for money is also excellent: for what I paid, it was truly money well invested. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the property as a whole is welcoming, quiet, and elegant. A special thanks also to the cleaning ladies, who are truly meticulous and attentive: you can tell when the job is done with care and a smile. If I were to return to this area, I'd already know where to stay. It was an experience that allowed me to completely relax and recharge. Thanks again for your hospitality! 😃

14/03/2026: A farmhouse surrounded by greenery just outside Mantua. Basic amenities make for a comfortable stay. The room is clean and tidy, and guests can prepare their own breakfast using ingredients available in the shared kitchen (which can also be used for lunch/dinner).

07/04/2026: Let me start by saying that I live in Carpi, in the province of Modena, so the restaurant isn't far, but not close either. That said, my husband and I often ate here under the previous management. We always had a great time. Yesterday, Easter Monday, we tried the new management. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is now brighter and more welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining the various dishes. We had the seafood appetizer and mixed grill. It was worth it. For dessert, I had the seadas. Very good! I will continue to frequent and recommend it.
