06/04/2025: Just this evening my wife and I had dinner after a day in Parma. The environment is local and typical, the staff has an attention towards the customer that is not easily found! The quality of the products and the passion they put into making everything functional and making customers feel good is the aspect that struck me the most. You can see not only the passion but also a lot of commitment in the work, congratulations indeed, we will definitely be back! Thanks for the visit to the improvised cellar, it was wonderful! 08/06/2025: Very nice place especially if you eat outside under the vineyard, we ate in the evening and it was already nice like this, at lunch it must be even better. Food of excellent quality, carefully chosen by the manager and local/agricultural products (also explicitly stated by the manager). Very good lard, cheeses and mustard as well. Very soft sliced ​​steak, very tasty donkey stew. The owners very kind and helpful, also with the timing of the courses. Fair price also in view of the quantity on the plate. 2 appetizers and 2 second courses with coffee 35 euros. Highly recommended.

11/05/2025: Three of us had lunch today, ordered cheese with mustard, cotechino, Agnoli in broth, two asparagus risottos and spinach. All very good. We had a small inconvenience which the staff was able to handle with professionalism and extreme courtesy, which was not at all a given. The sbrisolona is also excellent. Thank you, if we return to Mantua from Turin we will certainly stop by to visit you!

20/06/2025: Had lunch with friends with a fixed price menu of 12 euros including wine, water, coffee...nice choice of first courses (4) and second courses (6) all reasonably good...services or quite quick...the 4 of us were all satisfied...we will definitely be back..

28/06/2025: Yesterday, we had a very disappointing experience at your restaurant. Firstly, no one came to offer us a drink when we arrived. Then, my main course was served before the starter. When we asked about this, a man who appeared to be one of the owners responded rudely,shouting at other staff, claiming he didn’t understand us (even though we were speaking Italian), and mocking us by laughing and making fun of us. During our meal, he continued to walk by our table, staring and laughing in an arrogant and unprofessional manner. This behavior was unacceptable and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Thank you for ruining our son’s birthday.

02/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to say that I had a terrible experience at the restaurant pizzeria da Marco. As soon as I entered I found the owner and the pizza chef arguing with each other, I think the owner had taken too many take-out orders and the pizza chef did not agree. The owner asks me to wait while he talks on the phone, I wait about 2 minutes standing at the door and then he kindly invites me to sit down, I find an old and antiquated style room, even though it was empty, except for a table for two gentlemen, they put me at the table right next to it. I start looking at the menu, a little stained on the outside and laminated pages inside, while the waiter (a man in his 40s I think) comes to the table leaving the iron basket with salt, pepper, vinegar, balsamic vinegar and oil, whispering a "ciao" almost annoyed. At that moment the lady at the table behind, one of the two people mentioned before, starts a song on her cell phone at full volume and the waiter starts a dance with few movements in the room, everything goes on for the entire duration of the song (at least 3 minutes). HIGHLY annoying. The couple asks for bread and the waiter goes after that fridge in the photo, puts his hand in the cardboard bag, takes out a piece of bread and brings it to the table. The waiter comes back to ask me with an annoyed expression and huffing what I wanted to eat and drink exclaiming "what do you want?", I ask for a pizza, a medium coke and he answers me with a dry "ok" turning and walking away. I wait about 10 minutes, my pizza arrives unfortunately with a hole in the center of the dough missing. The flavor of the pizza is reasonably good, soft pizza, plenty of oil to my taste. The coke really tasted of little to nothing, clearly poor quality and served in a beer glass marked by wear. Unfortunately, the pizza remained indigestible all night, an unmistakable sign of poor leavening. I can't understand how there are recent reviews of 4/5 stars. Pizzeria restaurant to stop only if you have no other alternatives.

24/06/2025: Next to the ancient gallery, in the large parade ground of Sabbioneta, is the Ducale bar, restaurant and pizzeria. The selection of raw materials is discreet, the restaurant, in addition to the pizzeria, offers cornerstones of the local and Mantovane specialties with a touristic touch. Rather quick and professional service. Spacious and welcoming environment. Large internal rooms furnished in a traditional way, large summer terrace very pleasant, between the building and the large colonnade below the ancient gallery. Many parking spaces available in the adjacent parade ground.

29/05/2025: We went for a tour in this beautiful village, and we came across this restaurant that is really in a great location! We couldn't help but eat gnocco fritto, which we had in several versions. We liked it a lot! Very kind and helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

28/04/2025: Large and clean room, hosts are very friendly and accommodating, since they had opened the kitchen that evening, they drove us to a good pizzeria in Sussara and picked us up again there. The breakfast is very rich and super tasty.
