01/05/2025: Excellent restaurant from every point of view: Superb terrace sheltered from the crowds of Varenna, quality traditional cuisine and top-notch service: smiling and friendly waiters who, a nice little extra, bring you a small stool to place your lady's bag so that it doesn't drag on the ground. In short, an ideal place for lunch in Varenna!!!

29/04/2025: We wanted to escape all the tourist-crowded restaurants and we definitely weren't disappointed! Ignore the other restaurants and don't let the view of the lake blind you! We have rarely eaten so cheaply and so well. Had 2 starters, 2 main courses as well as wine and water for just €120 including Coperto… Super attentive service, information was given in English, as I don't speak Italian myself, so I was still able to understand everything. The food a 10/10! The beef tartare and the stuffed squid as a starter, a taste explosion, fresh truffle butter and perfectly coordinated components🫶🏽 We would like to give many more stars... We would come back at any time!

25/04/2025: The WORST ice cream shop we went to in Italy! The ice cream flavor was super artificial, it tasted like juice from a carton, and on top of that, there was a HAIR IN THE ICE CREAM! ABSURD!

02/05/2025: Even though the place was practically full, there was a table for us! We ate very well (and the dishes are fantastic!). The waiting time wasn't that long, considering the place was full and the dishes were also very beautiful (see the photographs to believe it)! On top of all this, I was very amazed why a waitress could always smile, be nice and kind. Not everyone is like that! Really, keep it up!!

06/04/2025: Small but very nice place, with a crazy view. At sunset it is beautiful to see the color of the lake change. The food is good and the quantity is ideal, the service is very well managed and the availability for requests is always high and smiling.

27/04/2025: Beautiful hotel, you can only visit the gardens without being a guest by purchasing tickets( highly recommended to book ahead to avoid the long lines) Great for photography and enjoying the view

15/05/2025: Fantastic food and wine. Nothing more to say. If you’re in Varenna and looking for a fantastic meal in a fantastic restaurant, then I would recommend check it out. It looks simple and unassuming from the street - but inside is amazing. We ate here tonight. The service was great. We shared the octopus starter - good sized serve. We then had the squid ink pasta and the duck. Both were great. The octopus and duck were my favourite.
