Everything was incredible here! The servers were knowledgeable on wine selection and were very attentive. The food was incredibly tasty and filling. My trip to Varenna started off with a horrible food experience and Osteria Quatro Pass has given me hope again on the culinary options here. You have to come here!

Beautiful restaurant set into the rock. The Camembert starter was absolutely delicious and the mains and tiramisu were some of the best we had in lake como!! Nice staff and amazing selection of wines

We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The dishes were delicious and generous. The grilled lake fish was excellent, and my friends had risotto, tuna, and pasta. Everything was top-notch. We booked two tables for 14 people. We loved everything, I highly recommend it.

We are Spanish. During our stay in Varenna, we returned to this restaurant several times. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, with typical local flavors. It was difficult to find a restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap. The service was also very friendly. Both times we went, we made a reservation an hour before dinnertime and they gave us a table without any problem. We highly recommend it.

Excellent location, food, service, and friendly staff. Everything. It was a great surprise since just on the opposite side of the lake (Menaggio) the service simply doesn't exist.

The setting is truly magnificent, with a beautiful terrace and tasteful decor. The tables and cutlery are elegant, creating an excellent first impression.
Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. Both the main courses and desserts disappointed us and were out of step with the high standard the place suggests.
The service was pleasant and the staff friendly, but several oversights marred the experience: we had to ask for our bottle of water again, and then our glasses of wine were only served halfway through our meal, also due to an oversight.
In the end, a beautiful setting, but an experience that doesn't live up to the promise of the facade. A shame.

Had the most wonderful meal here. Super fresh and delicious. The Char fish was especially excellent + potato gratin. Tabled in the downstairs area on high stools which was quieter than the upper area but quite pleasant none the less. Restaurant was busy but service still excellent.
